  1. I liked how you used Jerry Lynn. I'd love to see him play the role of the 1-2-3 Kid and be a jobber for a while and eventually win a match. He'd be a good addition to your WWF.

I really like the New Naitch. Good work with himl I can see a Intercontinental Championship run in his future.

The promo by the Brain talking about his three men - Rick Rude, Mr. Perfect, and the Masked Punisher - was good. You portray Heenan well and I like the stable. Though it is relatively small compared to a normal Heenan Family, it is still good.

I am not really sure what to make out of the Slick - Bossman segment. Can't really see where that one is going.

I like this deal between the Hart Foundation and Owen Hart. It seems it can go either way - with Owen either with or against them. Should be interesting to see how it all comes to head.

Stan Hansen is going to be tearing it up in that ring soon. Can't wait for that.

I liked that you booked matches for Saturday Night during one of the matches. Bushwackers will get destroyed by the Masked Punisher. Nice.

Good promo by Ted DiBiase. Can't wait to see the outcome of the DiBiase-Hogan match. As much as I'd love to see DiBiase finally get what he so rightfully deserved, I am sure Hogan is keeping the belt. I also liked you did the classic bounty angle with DiBiase putting a bounty out on Hogan's head. I am interested to see who will pick that one up. I can see it being Savage, though. Maybe not?

I had no interest in the main event, however, as I don't like either one.

Good show. Keep up the good work.

  2. I am not really liking the idea of start from the King of the Mountain show. All it seems, to me, is just copying the TNA results since then. Sure, a few minor changes have been tossed in, but the vast majority of the show, especially the Impact show, is the same as TNA. Why not just start from current point?

The shows, to me, aren't all that detailed. Especially the promos. I'd like to see the promos written out. It'd be better that way. Hopefully you begin to write them out soon enough.

  3. Ed Norton as...the guy he plays...in American History X.

His character's name was Derek Vinyard. I have to agree. I don't think anyone could have pulled that role off like he did. He did an amazing job in that movie.

  4. That was a decent enough show to win. I would have liked to see someone other than CM Punk and Colt Cabana win. They seem to be the ones to win almost everyones titles first. I was hoping for the Briscoes to capture the belts and the Road Warrior Cup, and what better way to do that then hit the Doomsday Device (as it is a regular move of theres). I think it would have been a cool ending to a good tournament.

Speaking of the Briscoes, I didn't like them using the Midnight Express music. The only team on the Indy scene who should be using that are the Backseat Boys, not the Briscoes. They have "Gimme Back My Bullets" by Lynyrd Skynyrd.

And of course, Jerry Lynn is the only one who will be facing Ace Steel. A former WWF Light Heavyweight Champion, ECW WOrld Heavyweight Champion and a former NWA TNA X Division Champion and NWA World Tag Team Champion. It has to be him.

  5. The Rock N Roll Express debuting was a great idea. They will greatly help out the tag team division.

Good Hogan promo. Building up to the DiBiase match. No doubt it won't be a good match, but the promos alone could make it interesting.

I like that Mr. Perfect beat Ultimate Warrior. Now the Hennig Family controls the IC title and the top contenders spot. I am wondering if this will see Heenan try to keep Perfect from getting his spot, telling him to keep Rude as the champion for as long as possible, but Perfect eventually wants his shot. Something like that, perhaps, will come out of it.

Good thing with Big John Studd being released. No need for useless crap like him.

  6. I kind of forgot all about the Thrillers when I began to re-read this diary again. But now that they are here, I still don't like the names "The Legend" and "The Future." Just never found either to be really good for them. Mostly, due to the fact that they both are on the same level, but Jericho has a name fitting of him being far more advanced than Storm when that shouldn't be the case. But that is only a minor dislike. The team is great, though. I also don't really enjoy the "Even in Canada" catchphrase.

I also never cared for the whole Dragons tag team, especially Kimono Dragon.

And then, of course, I still hate the fact that Garvin is the TV Champion. It goes from Steve Austin to Stan Lane to Steve Austin back to Stan Lane and I enjoyed all four title changes. As they were a good storyline involved. Now that Garvin is here, and takes the title from Lane, I do not like it.

Am I missing something or did you just misstype the names of 2nd Generation and just called them Generation Next by mistake? Generation Next was Scott Putski and Erik Watts. WHy would Jarrett, Malenko, and Owen go by that name now? Unless I am completely forgetting how that came about, it doesn't make much sense to change their name over to an already existing name.

Keep the good work coming. I enjoyed re-reading the COTC:TTT fully written show.

  7. A decent enough show, though I can't say I liked Rick Martel's promo. Not that good, but alright. I think you should certainly not have used El Matador. This is only 1989. You haven't yet hit 1991. But I did like that you played up on the little mistake of having the Strike Force match last week. Saying that is was bascially Rick giving Tito one last chance and he screwed that up and now is on his own, for good this time.

A Savage - DiBiase number one contenders match? If that is the plan, it should be a good match.

Edit: I guess I read that part wrong and it will be DiBiase getting a title shot.

Jake Roberts vs. Bret Hart was a good match. An Owen-Bret feud this early? I guess it could work.

  8. Nice. I am sure to keep up with this. I love this diary, and I'd probably have to go as far as saying it is my all time favorite diary. I've kept up with it since the very beginning. ANd each time it comes back, I love it. But then it disappears. I just hope that this doesn't go anywhere anytime soon. It's well written, and the characters are all portrayed greatly.

I only have had some small problems within it. That being the Cactus Jack and Sting team, Annihilation. I just couldn't ever really get into them. Or Sting, for that matter, throughout the diary.

And of course, I just cannot stand Ron Garvin, and I sure hope you cut your loses and let this failed experiment of pushing Garvin to the main event go to the recycle bin. But I fear we are going to see him around for a long time as you love this guy and I think you want to make him into a star, but I don't think anyone, at least not me, will ever buy him as a main eventer.

  9. But aren't the new episodes, like, actually new.  Not new animations, but they changed the monologue to make it more "adult oriented".  I may be wrong, cause I haven't watched it since it came back.

The new series flopped, big time. It was cancelled after like four or five shows. And they made them openly gay. Everyone had figured they were in the original, but in the new one, they were gay.

They don't play the new ones anymore, but they play the original ones and call them remastered, at like 2 in the morning on Spike TV. I watched them recently, and caught two of my favorite ones from years ago. The one with Stimpy's cousin Sphen (is that the correct spelling?) and the Haunted Mansion one with that talking fart. But after watching them, like Cloudy said, they are not even funny anymore.

But I got to agree, Rocko's Modern Life was much better than Ren and Stimpy. The food store one was my favorite of all time. I loved that episode.

  10. I thought it was a really good episode. Shane pulling a gun on Lem was strange, and showed Shane only cares about the money, though, and not about there safety and shit like that.

The thing with Tavon was good. I am surprised Lem went through with that whole deal, especially due to the tension between him and Shane, but I kind of figured he'd pull through for the team and keep them together.

But it looks like it isn't for much longer, due to what they showed in the previews for next week.

Next weeks is going to be an awesome finale. I can't wait.

  11. Primetime Wrestling Thoughts:

I am a fan of the Young Stallians (and probably one of the few Paul Roma fans out there, him in this team and in Power and Glory I liked) out there so I liked them winning. Bushwackers suck, so Stallians winning is good. I hope they recieve a nice push up the tag team divsion. They are a solid team.

Nice to see Vader coming in soon. Should be interesting to see how you debut him.

Good promo by Rude. This guy is going to be a main eventer one day in WWF. At least, I hope so.

This Terry Taylor gimmick is money. Just a total rip off of Ric Flair and I'm loving it. GOod work there.

I didn't much enjoy the Piper's Pit segment. I am just not a fan of Ron Garvin. I hope you don't push him ala TGC. It won't be good.

The Macho Man and Million Dollar Man promo was a good build up for there match. Short and to the point.

I wasn't a fan of the Twin Towers, but it does carry over from WrestleMania V to take out Jannetty like they took out Michaels.

The Warrior promo wasn't crazy enough to be like a Warrior promo. I couldn't really get into that promo too much. But I fear that this Warrior-Rude feud is continuing. I don't like it one bit.

I like that the Brainbusters vs. Demolition match had no clear winner. This type of match is best served for a PPV and I can clearly see it getting a good amount of time on a PPV or on the Main Event supercard. Either way, this feud is just starting and it should be excellent.

The Hogan promo sounded like Hogan, but Roberts just didn't sound like Roberts really. I am not sure why, though, but it just didn't really come across like something Roberts would say.

And a decent main event to end the show off. I think that match was given away too early, though, as it shoudl have been a main event for like the Main Event show. Not a weekly TV show. This was used too quickly in my opinion.

Decent enough PrimeTime, but some things need to be worked on, like the Roberts and Warrior promos.

    -----------------------------------------------

I enjoyed reading Superstars. Though, it does not really look like it did back then (slightly more matches and more jobbers), it was still good to read.

You captured Mr. Perfect well in his promo. It sounded just like him when reading it. Perfect going after a former stable mate of his in Rick Rude should be interesting. Both will be cappable of putting on great matches with each other. ANd I do hope you go this route instead of Rude-Warrior. At least this will be so much better and much more entertaining.

Not much to comment on the Blue Blazer - Brawler match. I never was a fan of Owen as the Blazer. Just didn't do anything for me. I hope you eventually make him out to be Owen Hart some time soon.

I'm loving the Terry Taylor gimmick of the Nature Boy. I can see him taking off with this gimmick and eventually be a top star. He is money in this diary. Good stuff.

ANother nicely captured promo that you worte -- this time for Ted DiBiase. Diabise makes a good point about pinning Hogan so that does make him a possible contender. DiBiase should get his shot. Hopefully you don't go the WWF route and drop him to midcard status anytime soon. He is a main eventer and belongs there.

The Hart Foundation winning is good, as the Buschwackers have no business going over any team besides jobbers.

As for the Rougeau Brothers vs. Strike Force match, this match should have never taken place. This diary takes place right after WrestleMania V, in which Martel walked off on Santana in there match vs. the Brainbusters. He turned heel in that and stated he doesn't need Santana. How are they even back together? A little explaination minute be needed for that.

I enjoyed this more so than PrimeTime, but the use of the Strike Force didn't make much sense.

  12. This is not in order of my favorite. I will just list them as I think of them.

    Vic Mackey - The Shield

    Jimmy Hughes - Yes, Dear

    Peter Griffin - Family Guy

Arthur Spooner - King of Queens

    Frank Costanza - Seinfeld

Sean Finnerty - Grounded For Life

Walt Finnerty - Grounded For Life

    Bill Miller - Still Standing

    Sandy Cohen - The O.C.

    David Creegan - Touching Evil

    Kevin Hunter - Street Time

I have eleven listed. But that's alright.
