  1. EDDIE MCJESUS VEDDER WINS AGAIN!

    Pearl Jam > > > > > Those plagarising bastards

First you thought Godsmack "plagarised" Alice in Chains (when in fact they just took the name from a song) and now you think Creed "plagarised" Pearl Jam. How the hell does that come about?

I listen to Creed and I don't really see a connecting or "plagarism" at all. :/ Unless they really plagarised Pearl Jam and I haven't heard of it. :shrugs shoulders: Oh well. But my point still exists. You think everyone copies your favorite bands. And I agree with what Tristy said below. Pearl Jam is overrated. Not a great band at all.

  2. technically that is not true... Their system is set up do you can only vote once per phone... if you get through the line for a second vote... it gives you an error message... hence the reason why Simon told Jasmine that she better hope every house in Hawaii had at least 5 phones and they all voted for her so she wouldn't get eliminated...

I was a Diana fan... so i was sad to see Macy Gray... I mean Fantasia Marino win... i can't stand her voice...

My mom called three times in five minutes to vote for Diana and got through all three times on the same phone ... so your post makes no sense.

  3. I have to say, Biggz has made the best one so far. Each and every band he listed is good, so it is one I'd attend, with Saturday being the better one.

    I'll only have one day.

    Main Stage:

    Main Stage Headliners: Korn

    Godsmack

    Disturbed

    Saliva

Main Stage Opening Act: Linkin Park

    Second Stage:

    Second Stage Headliners: Flaw

    Drowning Pool

    Crossfade

    Soil

Second Stage Opening Act: Breaking Benjamin

Edit: Included Saliva as a main stage act following Linkin Park.

  4. Or Greg The Bunny

Greg the Bunny was really funny. I hated to see that go. Tardy the Turtle was the best character. "I'm singing the quiet song." Just an awesome show.

And while we are at it talking about shows to bring back. John Doe really should be. What a tramendous show that was. Fastlane, too.

  5. Preview for Pro Wrestling: Chaos, The Debut Show

    - July 3rd, 2004 from the National Guard Armory in Boston, Mass.

Main Event, Tag Team Dream Match

    - Samoa Joe and Homicide vs. The Havana Pitbulls

Man, this is going to be one stiff match to read. It's going to be awesome.

    - Brad Bradley vs. Mark Briscoe

    Four Corners Match

    - Jimmy Rave vs. Nate Webb vs. Joker vs. Nigel McGuiness

    - Alex Shelley vs. Roderick Strong

I think Shelley might end up winning, but I want to see Strong win. I think Shelley is awesome. I think it is actually too close to call for a winner. But I'll just say Strong wins in a good match.

    Teacher vs. Student

    - Chris Hero vs. Emil Sitoci

The teacher wins this time, but the feud probably won't end just yet, with eventually the student defeating the teacher in the end.

    - Jay Briscoe vs. Matt Sydal

  6. I was really surprised in how many people voted: 65 million  :o  Thats double the population of Canada  ;)

You do understand that 65 million people DID NOT watch the show? 65 million DIFFERENT people did not vote. People can vote for as many times as they want. They could sit there for hours at a time and continue to vote. And that is normally how it is done. Last I checked, they were only getting ratings in the 9's. Which is good for Fox, but 65 million people did not watch the show. So don't expect to see some kind of gigantic rating for the show because of that number.

  7. ironically none of those four (Styles, Dragon, Daniels or Ki) figure majorly in ROH, and Dragon is the only one to still compete there on a semi-regular basis. So using those workers wouldnt be ripping off ROH, at least their contemporary product.

I know Styles, Ki, and Daniels are not with ROH anymore, but you understand what I mean. Every promotion wants to use them bascially, so trying to move away from that idea would be a great idea and make it sort of original.

  8. That is one strong roster. But the only one I am unfamiliar with is Emil Sitoci. You are a diary whore, but you are still a good writer. I hope this diary works out for you. You got a solid roster to work with and at least it isn't a ripoff of ROH. You don't have the top indy names like Ki, Dragon, Daniels, and Styles working it, at least not yet, and that is great.

I would like to see B-Boy added, though, as he'd be great for this promotion, and even he and Homicide would team to compete for the tag division. Him and B-Boy against the likes of the Briscoes AND the Havana Pitbulls? Awesome. Do it. Maybe Dan Maff, too could be added down the line.

I just hope it doesn't become filled with ROH regulars and come off as a complete ripoff. And I hope you also stay away from the already mentioned Styles, Dragon, Daniels, and Ki as main stars in the promotion.

  9. Before I post my opinion, let me just say that Chase instantly passed out as the ax hit him and thats why he wasn't screaming.

He screamed, but it wasn't a whole lot. But I don't recall seeing him pass out. Maybe I just missed it. But I guess if that did happen, that would explain why he didn't show a whole lot of pain and scream a lot.

  10. I was wondering what your thoughts on this finale was? I thought it was alright. Nothing special. It wasn't this blow away show that I was hoping for, but it was still a good one.

President Palmer stepping down was expected.

I don't like that Tony won't be back next season. I liked his character. Michelle, according to recent reports, might not be back either, which isn't major, but I liked her character. Only sensible female on the show.

Not a whole lot of pain was shown by Chase when he got his arm chopped off. Don't you think by getting your arm chopped off that you should be in tramendous pain? ANd also, from the time they made that cut and then moments later they were right in a hospital, under surgery already. Seemed way too fast.

    But I liked the show.

    Thoughts?

  11. I am not sure what to think. On one hand, if it is changed, it won't conflict with me wanting to watch Nip/Tuck and having to tape this. And On the other hand, if it is not on until the Fall, it'll be on a Saturday, which most likely will result in low ratings, and then a cancellation. Which would suck. So, I am not sure what to make of this idea.

I think it was ina good position following Big Brother. Big Brother draws in good ratings, and I am sure if people were watching that show that they might consider staying to watch the next show, Amazing Race 5, and potentially score a big night for CBS. But who knows.

  12. Adema is sometimes called EmoMetal, though I can't really tell, as I have no clue what is which anymore. You got NuMetal, Metal, EmoMetal, and whatnot. But if Adema is Emo or not, I still enjoy the music and find them one of my favorite bads.

  13. Hopefully some superb writing can make it a ratings player, but given the choice between The O.C. and Survivor: Vanuatu, I'm going to be missing a lot of OC episodes. I must commend FOX on the other hand for making the effort to further extend this little year long schedule of theirs.

Why not just tape either The O.C. or Survivor: Vanuatu and watch it later? You don't have another TV with a VCR set up anywhere else?

  14. Fox has shuffled around two of their top shows now. Season four of 24 will return in October, but on a Monday. And The O.C. will be on Thursdays.

I hate the idea of 24 on Mondays. Now I'll need to tape it. The O.C. will be on when Smackdown is on, so that isn't a big deal. But I'd rather watch Raw live than tape. Just my preference.

24 will be on at 9, still, and The O.C. will be on at 8 leading into Tru Calling at 9.

  15. I am really glad that you finally have decided to bring this back. Though you never had an official card, your fantasy booking of WWE in various Raw Threads and other topics alike showed that you have a real knack for booking. I hope this does work out well. I am sure to keep up with this as the backstory was very good.

The ideas to keep Brock heel and with Heyman as the mouth piece is great. Noble getting set to be Crusierweight Champion again is awesome. And firing Scott Steiner before he even debuts ... awesome. Good job, as there is no need for him.

  16. If this is anything like your writing with WCW 1991 then it could turn out good. But since then you haven't done anything that good, in my opinion. But things could change, like your diary backstory said.

You do have a lot of good talent to work with this time around, and lets just hope we don't see some useless piece of shit get pushed similar in fashion to Ron Garvin.

  17. Backlash Preview

This Sunday night, Raw presents Backlash live on Pay-Per-View and DirecTV. Backlash comes to you from the beautiful Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. And from top to bottom, this looks like a loaded show.

Chris Benoit will be stepping into the ring in front of his hometown friends and family as he defends the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time since winning it at WrestleMania XX when he defends it against Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels is no stranger to this belt, having defeated Triple H back at SummerSlam 2002 as well as his many times as WWE Champion, too. But he is stepping into the ring with Chris Benoit for the first time in a singles match since February 16th when he defeated him, with a little help from Triple H. For the past few months Michaels and Benoit have been the best of friends, teaming up on several occasions and delivering some great matches. But his biggest challenge will come when Benoit makes his first title defense this Sunday night. Will Michaels be able to go two and zero against “The Crippler” and this time take the title from him? Or will Chris Benoit deliver on his promise to make Shawn Michaels tap out in front of his hometown?

Edge will be making his in-ring return at Backlash as he teams up with Rob Van Dam and Booker T to take on Evolution, consisting of Triple H and the World Tag Team Champions Booker T and Rob Van Dam. Edge returned and immediately made his mark when he interrupted Triple H’s speech and berated him. Triple H challenged him to a fight right there, to which Edge agreed upon, but it was all a set up as Ric Flair and Batista attacked Edge and beating him three on one, until Booker T and Rob Van Dam, still upset about losing the World Tag Team Championship just one week previous to Ric Flair and Batista and saved Edge from further injury. Eric Bischoff later booked this match. For the past few weeks, Edge has been made commentator so Eric Bischoff could easily keep an eye on him and so Edge wouldn’t attack Triple H, if he did, he’d be suspended, without pay, for the same amount of time he was just out for with a broken neck. With Edge finally able to step into the ring in well over 14 months, will Triple H be ready for him? Edge is furious with Triple H and Edge wants to make his return a memorable one and make an immediate impact. With Booker T and Rob Van Dam still furious about not being World Tag Team Champions at his side, he has a big shot at defeating Evolution. But Evolution has Batista, Ric Flair and Triple H, all of whom are big players here on the Raw brand, and will stop at nothing to win this match. Triple H sees this as a stepping stone to getting his World Heavyweight Championship back. Will it be a stepping stone? Who knows?

The WWE Intercontinental Championship will also be on the line as Randy Orton will defend against Mick Foley in a match that Foley is no stranger to, a Hardcore Match. Evolution will be barred from ringside and there will be no countouts and no disqualification. Will Randy Orton be able to overcome these odds and retain his precious title? For months, Orton has been claiming to be the Legend Killer. And has disrespected the Hardcore Legend, Mick Foley, at every chance he could get. By spitting in his face, beating the hell out of him with Evolution, and pinning him and the Rock in a handicap match at WrestleMania with Batista and Ric Flair on his team. But in recent weeks, all of this has awakened the hardcore maniac within side Mick Foley. Will Orton be in for a career threatening beating from Mick Foley? Or will Foley be just another notch on the Legend Killers list? Orton says he is ready for this, but really, can he be when he is stepping into an environment that he has never faced before? Will the Intercontinental Championship end up in the hands of Mick Foley for the first time ever?

Kane has been furious, and some could say a afraid, of the recent addition of The Undertaker to the Raw brand. Eric Bischoff drafted him and Kane couldn’t stand this. But last week Mr. McMahon had enough of Kane being afraid of “The Deadman” and told Kane straight up, that if he couldn’t defeat The Undertaker at Backlash that he’d be fired. And also promised that if Kane won, that The Undertaker would be no more. In this all important match, careers are on the line. Will we see the last of “The Deadman” or will we see the last of Kane? No one knows for sure, but come Backlash, someone is leaving.

On the March 29th edition of Raw, following Val Venis losing to Jamie Noble, when Val returned to the back, he saw Lance Storm, bags and all, leaving. Val Venis had no clue why his partner was just leaving until Lance Storm gave his slow turning serious-looking stare back at Val Venis and then leaving. The next week, on April 5th, during Val’s match with Christian, Lance Storm came out and hit the Superkick on Val and then helped Christian get the win. Christian, Lance, and Trish escaped before Chris Jericho could get his hands on them. Christian instead attacked special referee Johnny Nitro. This past Monday, on Raw, Lance Storm explained his actions by saying that he was sick of playing up to the fans and dancing for them. He was sick of hearing the fans say to him “Dance Lance, Dance.” And on Raw, he said he gave it up for a better place. He is a wrestler. And with Christian and Trish, he felt he would be able to showcase his wrestling talents better. And Bischoff awarded Storm a match with Venis this Sunday night. How will Val Venis be able to react to his former partner abandoning him and then attacking him, costing him the match? We will find out as Val finally gets his one on one match against his former friend and partner.

Chris Jericho and Christian have been the best of friends and now the worst of enemies. And it all began with a simple little bet. But Christian turned it all around on Jericho and sided with the girl Jericho loved, Trish Stratus, at WrestleMania, when Trish came out and attacked Jericho. And in the past few weeks, Jericho even brought back the old catch phrase for one Stephanie McMahon, now used for Trish, the Dirty, Disgusting, Brutal, Bottom-Feeding, Trash-Bag Ho. On March 29th, Chris Jericho came out, chasing away Christian all the way to the back. Christian and Trish ended up getting away from Jericho. The following week, on April 5th, Chris Jericho came out following the Trish Stratus vs. Lita match, and tried to attack Christian, and nearly put Trish in the Walls of Jericho, but Christian got up and attacked Jericho and hit the Unprettier on him. Christian and Trish left after that, until later that night when Christian had a match. Christian defeated Val Venis with help from Lance Storm and Jericho tried to attack Christian, but Christian, Trish, and Lance ran through the crowd. Johnny Nitro got in Jericho’s way, and paid for it with the Walls of Jericho. And this past Monday, Christian and Lance Storm pull out the victory over Jericho and Val Venis when Jericho tapped to the Straight Shooter. Will Jericho be able to get revenge on Christian? Christian won at WrestleMania. Will he win again at Backlash?

And the WWE Women’s Championship will also be on the line as Victoria defends against Molly Holly. At WrestleMania XX, Molly Holly lost the match to Victoria. It was title vs. hair, and Victoria retained her title, and thus Molly lost her hair. She got it all shaven off, but according to Molly, her hair grows back fast and changes color weekly. Sporting a new hair style each week, from short to long, from blonde to brunette, she has it all. But what she doesn’t have is the WWE Women’s Championship, and she wants it back. And at Backlash, she gets her rematch. Will she be able to defeat the psycho Victoria and capture what she believes is rightfully hers? Or will Victoria once again defeat Molly?

Also, on Sunday Night Heat, Jamie Noble will take on The Hurricane. These two have a rivalry renewed lately. When Jamie Noble debuted for Smackdown back in 2002, he immediately attacked The Hurricane, and evening winning the Cruiserweight Championship at the King of the Ring that year. And two years late, when Noble debuted right here on Raw, he once again attacked The Hurricane. Come Sunday, who will win, “The Redneck Messiah” Jamie “By God” Noble or The Hurricane? Find out just an hour before we head on to Backlash for the Pay-Per-View!
