The exploding barbed wire matches are kind of fun. The physics involved are probably the best things in the entire game.

As a whole though, the whole thing kind of feels unfinished. There’s definitely potential but it doesn’t really hit the mark for me - and the roster does feel really thin.

Apparently Miles said on Twitter that modding will still be possible on FM25 and “might be even better”.

Already rumours about stadiums etc. 

I really hope the change means regen faces will be much improved.

I'm not sure how the Unity engine works, but some were suggesting on Twitter that because of it, it could mean the end of graphic packs which would disappoint a lot of people.

This would be my concern. Surely they’re aware of this though.

Apparently James Ward-Prowse is leaning toward a move to Fulham. He has already reportedly turned down an approach from Brentford, whilst West Ham also remain interested.

At Chelsea, the closest we've seen to him playing as an eight is when Lampard (in his first reign) occasionally played him in a midfield three as part of a 4-3-3. This was on the right side, however, with Mount on the left and Kante central.

Was he any good there? 

I wonder if he is being looked at as cover for Saka and Odegaard as well as playing that left-eight role. 

I have no idea what the plan with Havertz is.

@Chelsea fans. Can he play as a left-sided eight? As a replacement for Xhaka.

I still think he’s being brought in as another option across the front-line, but could be wrong.

The Saudi PIF owns a fairly large stake in Todd Boehly’s investment company that purchased Chelsea.

So now Chelsea are flogging some of their unwanted players for massive fees to Saudi Arabia. 

Sounds like Mendy, Kante, Koulibaly and Ziyech. Although Kante is a free agent.
