Slot to Liverpool for £9.4 million seems to be agreed. Is that a good price to pay for a manager these days?

A Spanish site called Vandal, which previously reported accurate information about the Switch OLED, has claimed that Nintendo's next device will have magnetic Joycons and will be compatible with Switch Pro Controllers.

Dogfight reminded me a bit of Joust in that it was a highly mechanised event that involved the contenders barely touching each other. I loved the ridiculous gimmickry, but it never made for a compelling athletic contest.

I started it and, to be honest, the first impressions weren't brilliant. It begins with a dull walk-and-talk sequence (you know the ones - slowly following someone down a corridor while they spout exposition) and then runs through the usual action setpiece combination of shimmying along beams, sliding down a slope on your bottom, grappling between platforms and a boss fight that keeps getting interrupted by cutscenes that add nothing. Then you've got several "squeeze through this narrow gap so the game has time to load the next skybox" bits.

Then the story started to get a little more interesting and I landed on the first proper world, so I'm going to give it a bit more of a chance to hook me.

Now this could make things interesting moving forward. I hope so, anyway.

Ding also lost yesterday. Out of his eighteen World Championship appearances, he's only got past the second round six times, which is really strange when you consider his record in other tournaments. He lives in Sheffield as well, so it's not as if it's a case of travel fatigue.

When I replayed Remake, I ignored all the side quests. I had a much better time.

What a shame. That's two massive Wembley shootouts Coventry have lost in the space of a year.

What I find interesting is that some reviewers love the story and others find it utterly dull. It seems that they're in agreement that the gameplay is a bit 90s-esque, and so your enjoyment might hinge on how fond you are of games like Suikoden.

As a game that was crowdfunded by Suikoden fans, that probably shouldn't be a surprise. It sounds as though it's doing what those people wanted it to.

VAR means that I don't love it.

And all of a sudden, the FA Cup is exciting.

I have sympathy for a couple of the claims, but the reality is that Forest haven't done enough this season to avoid being in their current situation. If not for the fact that the three promoted teams are so poor, Forest would have no hope of survival at this rate.

That surely means that they can never get promoted to the EFL until it's sorted, in which case they'd only be playing to avoid relegation next year.

How do Doncaster fans feel about Grant McCann these days? He's obviously got them on a great run of form right now, but is there still any lingering resentment about the time he left them to join Hull? Can you trust him not to do something similar in the future?

The Crucible Curse has struck once again as Brecel goes out. He has lost in the first round in six of his seven tournament appearance, with the only exception being when he won the whole thing last year. It's quite a strange record to have.

In other news, the first Dunk and Egg characters have been cast.

Dunk is played by Peter Claffey and Egg is played by Dexter Sol Ansell. I don't know anything about them, but they at least fulfil the criteria of being an adult and a child respectively.

They've got a home match against Forest. I'd fancy their chances in that one.

I don't want to scare people on here, but Burnley could yet avoid relegation at this rate.

Boreham Wood have been relegated to the National League South. They managed to get far more money than they were supposed to from the Covid funding package, with the club's owner suspiciously sitting on the National League board, so I don't feel sorry for them.
