That must have been current gen versions because you couldn't do them on the 360 as far as I remember.

I don't agree with Hargreaves being in the team, we don't need him, he's a good player, but he doesn't fit how England should be playing, unless we fuck about with a diamond again. Stick Phillips on the right, Cole and Gerrard through the middle with Barry on the left.
-
In my view the England team should be:
GK - Robinson or James (undecided who should be 1st choice)
RB - Richards (think he has the quality to pass Gary Neville now)
LB - Ashley Cole
CB - Terry
CB - Ferdinand
RM - Wright-Phillips (Gerrard is better at CM and Beckham is getting older)
LM - Joe Cole
CM - Hargreaves (should be in ahead of Lampard so Gerrard has more license to roam free)
CM - Gerrard
CF - Owen
CF - Rooney
-
Nice ball by Joe Cole for the goal.

Heskey has a glorious record for England, 5 goals in 43 games.

What other striking options do we have on the bench?
-
Well pissed there is no current RAW tag team. no Cade n Murdoch or London and Kendrick. But yet we get Cryme Tyme who have just been fired.

My own attemps at making pictures. Feedback is welcome.
I've started doing the whole RAW roster.

I do get the feeling that half the people disagreeing with this decision are just jumping on the bandwagon. England need to bring Scholes back instead of Heskey. I mean, Scholes is still one of United's best players at the moment. Or Smith, he does wonder's for me on Football Manager.

Always make's me smile when Chelsea lose.

Newcastle finally sign Faye and Beye. Thank god, I was getting worried we were'nt going to sign them.

FIFA 2008 PC Demo is out since 12 o'clock today, don't think that has been mentioned before. I'm at 90% now downloading, so I'll get back on it later
*EDIT: I've played the demo. Interface, looks like FIFA 07. The way you can change your squad looks like FIFA 07. Start the match Man Utd vs. Bayern Munich, same intro like FIFA 07. Match starts, it looks the same as FIFA 07 and the gameplay seems very much like...you guessed it: FIFA 07. I guess it's easier to tackle now, which is good. It's slightly easier to run past an opponent. Through balls don't work very well, not how I'm used to using them (*cough* Pro Evo). If you hold down the through ball button one second longer than usual, the player will hit the ball like he's giving a through ball to someone in Bangladesh or something, really hard, it's odd, but hey it's a demo so it can still be fixed. I actually like the shooting in FIFA, sometimes it's dodgy, but I had one awesome shot with Cheyrou (Marseille), it curled into the right topcorner, that's something you can't really do in Pro Evo...
All in all, not much seems to have changed since last year, which is a big shame. I thought I was going to play a game that might come close to Pro Evo's gameplay, but I was wrong. Maybe the demo only sucks and the full version is totally different, let's hope so

BBC are saying that Fulham have swapped Rosenoir for Seol. Straight swap, no money involved.

Any word on when Newcastle are going to sign Faye and Beye? They both apperentley had medicals and Wednesday and Thursday.
Has Huntington really gone on a permanent transfer? Seems a bit of waste he looked a talented young defender and with a few years behind him would have probably been a pretty good player.
EDIT: Forget that bout Huntington ive just checked the official Newcastle site.

Not too happy Sam's gone with the same team again. Against Villa the obvious problem was that no one from midfield got forward to support the attack. So what does he do? He start's with the same midfield, he better have it sorted.

Newcastle will go third with a win me thinks.
3-1 to Newcastle I reckon.

Fuck this game
In my first season at Reading we finished fourth, but missed out on the Champions League because the winners (Man United) finished sixth. They got the CL spot and I went into the UEFA Cup.
Second season we finish fourth again, and this time Chelsea win the CL but finish fifth so they get the place instead of me.
Bunch of cunts.

From Sky Sports:
QPR youngster Ray Jones has been killed in a car accident. The incident occured 12.20am on Saturday morning in East Ham, and the 18-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
As a result, Saturday's Championship game between Burnley and QPR at Turf Moor has been postponed, with no new date yet announced.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Everyone at Queens Park Rangers extends their deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Ray at this sad time.
"The club will be making no further comment at this sad time and we ask you to respect our wishes as we grieve for our young striker."

WWE spinoff games have never been successful.
Crush Hour was ok at best, Betrayal for the GBC was awful. I would also want a Legends game
The Smackdown vs. Raw video game may miss its November deadline due to Chris Benoit. Vince McMahon wants him removed from the game, but to have him removed would require the game being delayed, which means that they would miss out on the 2007 holiday season revenue, which is always the most lucrative quarter for video games.Source: 411wrestling.com via F4Wonline.com
Don't know how true it is but I can see why Vince would want him gone from the game since he has already erased him from mostly everything else.

From GamesRader.com
At a WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2008 event held in London last week, THQ's vice president of product development, Keith Kirby, revealed that gamers could look forward to a lot more WWE offerings in the future, providing dedicated lovers of the wrestling with more besides the annual update of its flagship series.Although carefully cagey about details, Kirby told GamesRadar that he had recently been in New York for a meeting, the purpose of which was to "talk about all sorts of new and exciting ways to bring the WWE brand to fans in an interactive way... Stay tuned because it's going to get really cool and really exciting." He offered that this included how gamers could "experience the main game in different ways," as well as providing "unique offerings from the WWE and THQ".
We stated the obvious and suggested he was talking about WWE spin-offs, to which Kirby replied: "I can't tell you, but that's a very good guess." So, until THQ is ready to spill its beans on the canvas, we'll take that as an unconfirmed affirmative. Let's just hope for something a bit better than WWE Crush Hour, though.

Well I got my Drogba points from the Tuesday game. I foolishly gave the captaincy to Cech on the first day...should have chosen Essien as well...
-
At least they have'nt given CM Punk a six pack like they always do with Triple H. Flair look's a bit too toned for my liking.
Full roster announced September 4th. Put it in your diares.
