Bi-generation (that's what it's called) is meant to be a myth, and it seems to only happen due in relation to the Toymaker, who is meant to be a god like being in the universe, it's also been implied that when it happened it also happened across the Doctor's timeline, which some how now allows the Doctor to exist beyond their regeneration, sort of justifying the Curator as being the 4th Doctor.

And the season 1 thing is just because it's the start on Disney and they think people are going to see season 14 and think "do I have to watch the previous 13 seasons", so putting it as season 1 is to not scare them off, plus it's being pushed as a soft reboot of the franchise.

And Disney+ or the BBC iPlayer, which ever is easier for you to assedd.

I agree, Spray n' Pray can be very OP, even more OP if you get that legendary on a minigun.

But yea, a basic premise of Fallout is "What if after WWII, the world didn't focus on micro technology but went all in on atomic technology".  Its why you'll see "gas" stations listing "Coolant" prices instead of gas.  Its why most of the cars look like the Ford Nucleon. 

I've been doing some reading and I stand corrected, and in fact they seem to be created around the same time as they were in our universe, they just were not focused on, the key difference being where our timeline focused on the microchip, the Fallout universe went all in on developing nuclear fusion.

Without going into a deep lore dive, the 50s aesthetic stems from the fact the microchip was never created, so everything has that 50s/60s nuclear world of the future look, so rather than styles evoling it just goes all in to recreate that world of the future.

That makes sence, why drop it only for it to highly likely break a few days later, makes more sence to wait, make sure it works and then drop it, don't want a fiasco like TEW2020's launch.

Completly forgot I was going to do this, I'll give this a final warning, take what you want because this will be gone by the end of the month.

I was able to binge the series since some people decided to stream it on Twitch and caught a good 80-90% of it.

It does a great job of representing the feel of both the world and the games, there is enough there that you don't need to have any knowlage of the games, and if you know the games you'll get the references, I do like how they were able to translate the morality and moral choices you get in the games into the show and still keep the grey "is this the "right" thing to do" feeling. I also like how they are able to tell the pre-war story through the ghoul's past.

I just hope a second season is on the books, while not confirmed, it has been leaked that Fallout is on a list that has been granted qualified expenditures by California Film Commission to film there.

So it looks like Fallout 4 is finally getting it's next gen updates on April 25th.

I believe so, admittedly I haven't downloaded/played it myself since the original, but from what I understand it's all built on the original game, guess it's a good thing not to lose the source code to your popular freeware game, even if it takes you 17 years to work on it again.

I found Promotion Wars first and I do recall the forums went down taking the game and the mods with it and I reluctantly moved over here for EWR, I think they brought it back a couple times with a couple of free forums.

I think it got rebooted during the lockdowns and they just updated the original game rather than build a new game, still all free.

Well they're back (been back a while) and have been updating the original game.

There is a plan of actiion to try and preserve games that would die when the companies behind them end their support, it's mainly focused on games as a live service, so when they shut down the servers it kills the game, there is a website StopKillingGames.com that goes into the details and includes how you can take action.

It WAS available on Steam, it got hit by a DMCA notice so gazwefc took it down to avoid getting sued, strange when Ryland had said it was find if it was not for financial gain, and after he had supposedly DM'd gazwefc to ask him not promote the PWS aspect on GDS (he was showcasing the AI images he was creating for the project that could work with TEW and used PWS screenshots).
