  1. My best game so far was with a Japanese guy- Yuki Yasuka or something.

Anyway, the awesome thing is that I made a lot of money with him back in Japan - I switch over to the U.S., make about $300,000, go BACK to Japan, and I'm effing rich. About fifteen years of police captaining work with 1,080,000 yen a year...

When I was asked if I wanted to retire, the age they gave me was 1373.

(Of course, the year after, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and died one year (the year after) after my first daughter had died.)

  2. He was rubbish, though. She basically threw herself at him from day one, the dirty slut, and he didn't even show any remote interest until she got bitch-slapped at the end of Disc Two. That's 2 discs' worth of procrastination! Plus, that scene at the concert in Fisherman's Horizon was beyond lame.

    "We're all here for you!"

    "..."

    "We love you!"

    "..."

"Try not to work hard, okay, at being a military general at age 18!"

    "..."

    "Want to dance?"

    "..."

"Well, here's a sentence that implies I'm yours, whenever and however you want me, stud!"

    "..."

"I'm off to bed! Here's my room key!"

    *Rinoa leaves*

    "...Whatever."

  3. Benj basically said my opinions... except for the Golden Age FFs >_>

My favorite locales in the series are:

    FF7: Midgar

FF8: Esthar (btw, how do you guys pronounce that?)

FF9: TIE - Lindblum & Black Mage Village.

    FFX: Luca

    FFX-2: Besaid

FFXII: Rabanastre, I guess... I haven't beaten this one yet. >_>

  4. Also, one thing I was hoping for while playing an old FFVIII file the other day - it was during the last boss fight...

I was so hoping for Angelo's Rush attack to be the hit that'd win, just imagining (in my geekdom) how it would be explained in their world.

"And so, with all their efforts combined... the world was saved by a dog."

Or, y'know... something like that >_>

  5. Personally, I like VIII the most. Probably has something to do with it being my first FF game.

My least-favorite FF has to be XII. It just seems like way too much of a change from the norm; it's like FFX-2 kicked into overdrive (no pun intended).

And I wouldn't say that some are better; they all have their famous moments.

  6. World X Cup Ultimate X Final: Teddy Hart (Canada) vs. Mistico (Mexico) vs. Bryan Danielson (USA)

I can see AmDrag picking up a win for Team USA. Don't ask why.

Sean O'Haire vs. Abyss vs. Raven in Monster's Ball VI

O'Haire's the unstoppable badass monster. Raven's in the twilight of his career, and Abyss needs to be the middleman. O'Haire wins following a Prophecy/Widowmaker/whatever to Raven.

Team 3D vs. Avatar & Bane

No-brainer. AvBane are getting pushed, 3D sucks... Human Sacrifice to Ray FTW.

Nicho El Millionaro © vs. Rob Van Dam for the X-Division Title

I can just see RVD winning the strap and going on an TV Title-esque run.

Carlos Colon © vs. Chris Jericho vs. Christian Cage for the TNA World Heavyweight Title

Like every other Colon title defense, I can see major usage of nefarious tactics to keep the belt around Colon's waist.

Gauntlet for the Gold Winner: Samoa Joe, last defeating Kurt Angle.

    WWE No Mercy

Brock Lesnar & Edge vs. The Hardy Boyz vs. The New Age Outlaws in a TLC match for the WWE Tag Titles

Edgenar won't win because Vince still hates Edge >_>. NAO's too old. TLC is the Hardyz' match.

    Scott Hall vs. Kane

Just because whenever WWE Creative has a chance to bastardize Kane, they do.

Rey Mysterio vs. X-Pac for the WWE United States title

Who's that jumpin' out 'da sky, R-E-Y, Mysterio, winning-o!

Mr. Kennedy vs. Lashley for the WWE Intercontinental Title

More of a 'Please, God...' than anything. Kennedy's too awesome to job out to Lashley.

Chris Masters vs. Tommy Dreamer in Extreme Rulez for the ECW World Heavyweight Title

As stated by someone else, Dreamer = past, Masters = future.

Randy Orton vs. Triple H for the World Heavyweight Title

Because it's exactly what Trips would do given the chance.

The Rock vs. John Cena for the WWE Heavyweight Title

Further solidifying the staleness of Cena's character.

  7. Well, now that you mention it...

As long as JTG is the Flava Flav of the group, I can accept that.

Actually, the image of JTG with oversized glasses, a top hat, and Boogeyman's oversized clock...there's an idea...

He actually meant the wrestling tag team known as the Public Enemy (Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge) from the original ECW (and later WCW).

  8. It's all good... but what move exactly is the 'Human Sacrifice'? >_>

Other than that, RAW's making me mark out for Rock, ECW's making me think "Damn, that's a LOT better...", and SmackDown's making me think "Triple H sucks; Edge was screwed!!!". Impact's always good.

  9. Whoa... Vince 'died'.

I like how the 'book' described Vince as a good person - despite his arrogant on-screen persona - kinda like how Cena's haters hate him for his on-screen persona, even if he's a great guy backstage.

Anyway, damn. I don't think I won predictions.

  10. TNA No Surrender

Nicho El Millionaro © vs. Sonjay Dutt in a Ladder Match for the X-Division Title

Nicho can't lose the title this fast. I can see a lot of NGX interference leading to a NEM defense.

The Steiner Brothers © vs. LAX vs. Team 3D vs. Motor City Machine Guns in Tag Mayhem for the TNA Tag Titles

If Shelley and Sabin are the future of the TNA Tag division, this match should score them the championship.

    Abyss vs. Sean O'Haire

O'Haire will win - perhaps by interference from Mitchell, perhaps by DQ... but Abyss will NOT win.

    AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle

Angle's supposed to win the feud, apparently - so perhaps this is the feud-ender?

Homicide vs. Samoa Joe in an 30 Minute Iron Man match

Homicide squeaks out a win in the final seconds, and then Joe and 'Cide shake hands.

Sting vs. Christopher Daniels in an 'I Quit', Loser Leaves TNA Forever match

Sting's a legend - he's probably got a big contract, and other than that, he'll probably have no problem putting TFA over.

Carlos Colon © vs. Rhino in a Steel Cage for the TNA World Heavyweight Title

While Rhino is badass-cubed, I can't see him winning this feud against Colon. I can, however, see Rhino get a win that'll keep him looking strong - perhaps a callback to the infamous Cage/Rhino SSoS spot? Colon gets gored through the door for the win?

Chris Jericho and Rob Van Dam vs. Christian Cage & Tomko

The Coalition gets a cheap win. Probably to set up Cage/Jericho at Bound for Glory.

    WWE Unforgiven

    Kevin Thorn vs. Charlie Haas

Thorn's supposed to become a ME-player? Why says it can't start here?

    Val Venis vs. Viscera

Reward Venis's years of service with a loss to the least-talented member of the RAW roster not named Dalip Singh. >_>

MVP © vs. Jim Duggan for the United States Title

Because sadly... I can actually see WWE doing something like this one day.

Melina © vs. Michelle McCool vs. Candice Michelle vs. Maria for the WWE Women's Title

Further bastard(or is it bitching)izing the Women's Division.

Santino Marella © vs. Paul London for the WWE Intercontinental Title

How do you keep the IC title's image in the gutter? Have a somewhat-decent worker with a abhorrent gimmick continue to hold it!

The Hardy Boyz © vs. The Highlanders for the World Tag Titles

    THEY'RE ROBBIE! THEY'RE RORY! THEY'RE SUCKY!

The Great Khali © vs. Triple H for the WWE Title

Call me crazy, but I can see Trips using his backstage pull to get the title back and hog it again.

Bobby Lashley © vs. William Regal for the ECW World Heavyweight Title

Untalented... green... not extreme in any sense of the word... PERFECT!

Brock Lesnar © vs. The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Title

The first time 'Taker jobbed to Lesnar, I think Taker was okay. This time around? Taker might be a little hot that Lesnar was resigned and given the title because Edge did the 'horrible, unforgivable' act of supporting Ric Flair back at GAB.

  11. TNA Hard Justice 2007

Jushin Liger, Yoshihiro Tajiri, Milano Collection AT, and Minoru vs. Austin Starr, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, and Christopher Daniels

Team Japan wins when Daniels doesn't show yet again. Fans cheer, yet boo, about Shelley and Sabin losing. HAIL SABE'N'ELLY!

Nicho El Millionaro & Joey Matthews vs. Sonjay Dutt & Jay Lethal

I can see Nash interfering to screw Lethal and Dutt out of the win... or maybe even Lethal turning on Dutt.

Bryan Danielson & Samoa Joe vs. LAX

The Latino Nation and/or Konnan helps LAX get their win over Joe/AmDrag... probably a cheap win over Danielson.

    Kurt Angle vs. AJ Styles

I can see Dumas-based interference leading to a Styles win.

Team 3D © vs. The Steiner Brothers for the TNA World Tag Titles

The Deadly Boyz retain their titles in the only clean ending of the night. >_>

Carlos Colon © vs. Rhino vs. Christian Cage for the TNA World Heavyweight Title

I could see Christian get a cheap pin on Rhino to take the belt from Colon without him being pinned.

    WWE Summerslam

Chavo Guerrero © vs. Paul London vs. Brian Kendrick for the WWE Cruiserweight Title

Eh... I guess. LONDON CALLING FTW? >_>

Chris Benoit (3) vs. King Booker (3) in the Best of Seven decider

    Again... I guess.

Cade & Murdoch © vs. Val Venis & Viscera for the WWE Tag Titles

Because I'd rather see the (now) highly-entertaining Cade 'n Murdoch as champs over V-Squared.

Santino Marella © vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Intercontinental Title

Marella sucks. Orton's somewhat cool despite his attitude problem. Case closed.

    Edge vs. Matt Hardy

Vince's revenge against Edge... although I can see both these guys jumping to TNA at some point.

MVP © vs. Jimmy Wang Yang for the United States Title

One, two, I hear the clock tickin'... Wang Yang won't be touching that title.

Bobby Lashley © vs. Mr. McMahon for the ECW World Heavyweight Title

To continue overpushing a horribly green talent.

The Great Khali © vs. John Cena for the WWE Title

Again, same as last PPV... DEATH of the WWE.

Brock Lesnar © vs. Batista for the World Heavyweight Title

    Whoever wins, we lose.

  12. I've got an idea for a somewhat cool match.

    Hulk Hogan versus... Samoa Joe.

You can't tell me you wouldn't pay to see Joe take on Hogan... even if Hogan politicked to get himself the win.

Besides, even if Hogan sucks to holy high hell, Joe could probably get a decent match out of him.

  13. VR was awesome - and GAB, while suckish... sadly seems like something that could actually happen with WWE, down to Flair going unscripted after jobbing to Khali.

Anyway, I can't wait to see who the new signing is... it can't be Edge (who, if you read the beginning of the VR review... it says he lost the WHT to Lesnar?) because he won't have won a major singles title again, and in doing that, that means he'll still be with the WWE for a while.

I could MAYBE see Flair, unless he was legitimately retiring.

  14. Carlos Colon © vs. Rhino for the TNA Heavyweight Title

If Carlito's going to be a major player in this, why would he lose the title barely a month after winning it? I can see a cheap-ass victory.

    Kurt Angle vs. Christian Cage

Simply because I abhor Angle. He's a great wrestler - I can't say he's as bad as Khali... but he's lost 'it'.

Sting vs. Christopher Daniels in a City of Angels Street Fight

Just to see Daniels get a tad more demented before he finally gets his win over Sting.

Team 3-D © vs. The Steiner Brothers vs. Motor City Machine Guns for the TNA World Tag Titles

Hail Sabin and Shelley! If the MCMGs are gonna be the restorers of TNA's tag division... what better time than the present... diary... time... thing?

    Sean O’Haire vs. Chris Harris

I mark for O'Haire. I see O'Haire dominating, and then bloodying Harris before scoring the win.

    Samoa Joe vs. Homicide

Because despite Homicide's awesomeness, he's not as pushed as Joe in TNA - I could see Homicide getting DQ'ed due to LAX inteference... but I can't see a Homicide pin/submission win.

Sonjay Dutt © vs. Jay Lethal for the X-Division Title

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH Yeaaaah! I can see Nash interfering against Lethal's wishes, to help Jay win.

Voodoo Kin Mafia & Trish Stratus vs. Basham, Damaja, and ???

Again, for no real reason other than I hate VKM with a passion. Trish is good, but she kinda contradicts VKM's beliefs, no?

    WWE Great American Bash

The Great Khali © vs. Ric Flair for the WWE Title (Ric Flair retires if he loses)

Since Khali's reign is supposed to be worse than Cena's... and since this is the DEATH of the WWE, I can see Khali abso-fuckin'-lutely dominating Flair, making his 16 World title reigns look like shit in the process.

    John Cena vs. Umaga

Like I said before... DEATH of the WWE. Cena goes over, and I'd be thinking it'll be a clean win this time.

Santino Marella © vs. Shelton Benjamin for the Intercontinental Title

Because Benjamin's the shit, and Marella's character, while innovative, shouldn't have a title that's supposed to be as respected as the IC title belt.

Cade & Murdoch © vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick for the WWE Tag Titles

I could see London and Kendrick being put down for no reason, kinda like Punk vs. Snitsky.

Edge © vs. Kane for the World Heavyweight Title

Sadly, while Kane is an awesome guy IRL... quite frankly, he's not the best in-ring worker; Edge is hitting his stride. Perhaps Kane'll appear on RAW and fail in a Unification Match vs. Khali? <_<

    Batista vs. Mark Henry

Whoever wins, we lose. I'm predicting a draw due to set destruction... or tabling o' doom.

Chris Benoit vs. King Booker in Match 3 of the Biannual Best of Seven Series (Benoit leads 2-0)

We'll see Booker get the next three falls, allowing Benoit to win the last two to win THIS BoS.

Bobby Lashley © vs. Randy Orton for the ECW World Heavyweight Title

I said it twice, I'll say it again - DEATH of WWE. Lashley's too green for the belt, so he keeps it.
