  1. And on castings, unless Warner Brothers has mazzine influence, I get the feeling Nolan will go with someone who's got some name value, but isn't exactly mainstream. Like Tkz said, the Rockwell type. Or something to that extent.

I think after his Heath Ledger idea, I should hope they'll let him do whatever he wants with his cast.

  2. I like the guy and all, but surely after Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, the last Pirates Of The Caribbean movie and Alice In The Wonderland it's about time to put the "Johnny Depp can do no wrong" bandwagon out to pasture. Mmmm, mixed metaphors.

This. This is exactly why I don't want him in this.

I read an article a few weeks ago making the case for Michael C. Hall as The Riddler, and I would love if they went that direction, he'd be perfect.

That's right! I was trying to remember another "dream casting" my friends and I thought of besides Hoffman as The Penguin and this is it. I would love this casting.

  3. I would love to see Philip Seymour Hoffman play The Penguin. I know it's highly unlikely that The Penguin will be in the next movie, but nothing would make me happier for the 3rd movie. Well maybe something I haven't thought of yet could make me happier, but you know what I mean.

Truthfully, nearly anything will satisfy me with this movie.

  4. 1. Inglourious Basterds

    2. Watchmen

    3. Funny People

Edit: Added Funny People. Forgot that it came out last year.

  5. Picking just one is damn near impossible...so here's a list of my favorite tracks:

(Aside from the obvious 'Heroes', Ziggy, Starman, Life On Mars?, Under Pressure, Space Oddity, Ashes To Ashes, etc.)

    In No Order:

    Seven Years In Tibet

    Seven

    Days

    Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps)

    Cracked Actor

    Queen Bitch

    Bring Me The Disco King

    New Killer Star

    Young Americans

    Fantastic Voyage

    Fame

    Fashion

    Sunday

    China Girl

    Sound And Vision

I'm Afraid Of Americans (I was SO happy when I got to see NIN play this in Chicago last May)

...You know, this could actually go on for quite some time, so I'll just cut it now.

  6. Personally, my favorite NCatBS album(s) is "Abattoir Blues and The Lyre Of Orpheus" with "Dig Lazarus Dig" in second. "Murder Ballads" is truly amazing, but I really disagree that it's a good starting point. I'd say "Let Love In" or "Abattoir Blues and The Lyre Of Orpheus" might be the best place to start.

  7. 1987: Evil Dead II

    1988: Die Hard

1989: Back To The Future Part II

    1990: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

  8. I think it would come later on as they're working Lollapolooza and then they have a Minneapolis date immediately after that so I wouldn't hold your breath on that, though I would absolutely be there if there was one.

Sadly, I believe you're right...but, (because I'm an optimist) look at the open dates around Minneapolis/Canada/Chicago...I know they always come here, and I'm dying to finally see them, haha.

  9. Yesterday he mentioned something about 2 weeks: knowing Reznor it isn't going to be a let down

Relaunch of Spiral? Possibly but I don't think that's 'News' enough

Ghosts V-VII? More likely but knowing this is what he said last time he could be trying to catch us out

New EP/LP? The EP is VERY likely but not sure if he can create a full album within two weeks

    The Spiral isn't coming back.

I strongly doubt it's going to be another Ghosts, and it's definately not Year Zero II.

I'm 98% going to be a new EP. Pictures of Josh Freese with a mic'd up drum kit was posted on the site, along with the live band talking in a studio.

Also, he said more tour devlopments. Like a Wisconsin date, hopefully.

  10. "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of War Drums" by A Perfect Circle

That was a single. The orignial version of the song wasn't.

    Speaking of which...

    A Perfect Circle - "Pet"

    Also:

Nine Inch Nails - Somewhat Damaged

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds - Red Right Hand (became their most well known song, anyways...over here, at least)

    Tool - Jambi

You May Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A Millionaire - Queens Of The Stone Age

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Readymade

  11. Monkey Island. (PC)

    Toejam and Earl. (Sega Genesis)

I spent A LOT of time playing Michael Jordan: Chaos In The Windy City, that game was awesome.

I also owned Shaq-Fu. :( But it was fun at the time.

I miss those old games. I still have my original Monkey Island ROM CD, so I can play that whenever I choose. I have Toejam and Earl on my Wii. But, fuck, I REALLY miss the Michael Jordan game, haha.
