Amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing CD, Tomas Kalnoky can do no wrong. I've heard "Would You Be Impressed?" three times before, at live shows.
I nearly shit myself on saturday when I found out it leaked and got it a second later...I already pre-ordered it from interpunk, so what the hell. I can't stop listening to it...as stated before, it's just so amazing.
Go see them on tour...few live shows can compete. There's no flashy lights or anything, but watching Streetlight Manifesto perform is mindbending. As far as I know, on the US dates they're touring with Suburban Legends (AMAZING live band) and The Stitch Up (Dan Potthast of Mu330's new band).

Creed using toner to make his hair black to "look young" was great.
I thought it was implied that Creed used the black ink from the printer to dye his hair.
-
I could really see it being Diamondbacks/Phillies v. Indians...I hope it will be that, too.
I've always liked the D-Backs, I hope they take it. They're spankin' the Cubs which makes them my favorite team.

...I was hoping Vin would play John Conner <_

Fantastic episode to start the season.
Ted's Tramp Stamp, Breakup Beard, Mutton Chops, Porn 'Stache, and The Slap Countdown > *.

So, season 3 of one of the best/funniest shows on TV starts in nearly 10 minutes.
Excited? I am.

I love it when the Cubs lose and the Brewers win.
Fuck the Cubs.

The entire "Outside" CD by David Bowie as creepy as fuck...most specifically, the song "Wishful Beginnings".

Snippets of new SM songs!
number one
number two
number three
More to come periodically in the weeks leading up to the album's release...
Due to unforseen circumstances, we cannot announce the precise release date of the album just yet (we're hoping next week..?), but we can say this: We begin our headline US tour on Nov 7th. Surely it would make no sense to play songs that no one has ever heard...
Also, to everyone that came out this summer to see us, AAA, RBF and LTJ, thanks so much for the support. It was truly a great tour, all around, and we are grateful to have been a part of it. Special thanks goes out to anyone who came out to a headline SM show in between the summer tour dates. The LTJ/RBF/SM lineup will be reuniting somewhere on the planet for a tour before year's end. Think "That's not a knife, THIS is a knife." We will give details as soon as we're allowed to.
Stay tuned also for details and show announcments for our winter headliner, as well as more song snippets, a proper and definitive release date, a whole new site, and a few surprises...
...Good god, yes. It's finally happening. The song snippets aren't much at all...3 separate songs, 11-12 seconds each...but if you're a die-hard SM fan like me...it's gold, haha.

I too like the Streetlight version more. Although, as GREAT as Keasbey is, I think I like "Everything Goes Numb" more.
New album has a name: "Somewhere In The Between"

To me, this is the best music news of the year.
For those that don't know, Tomas Kalnoky used to be the singer/guitarist/songwriter for Catch-22 and wrote all of Catch-22's first CD "Keasbey Nights", and left after recording it. Check out Streetlight Manifesto even if you don't like ska, it's some of the best songwriting I've ever heard.

"Devil" and "History" were pretty good...the Self Titled one wasn't to my liking.
The "Cocky" CD has some of the dumbest lyrics I've ever heard.

I'm really excited to see them on January 9th...I haven't seen them since July 4th, haha.
It'll be a fun show, YI...RBF always delivers, too. Have you seen either band live?
