I would hope it goes past the first season, we're only doing 29 game seasons so it shouldn't take THAT long. Also, in terms of FA signings we want to wait until everyone is signed up.

Also, just make sure to keep them realistic.

Just a bit of advice, My Player gameplay seems so much different than regular quick game, gameplay. If you want to learn the ins and outs of the game you should just play a few quick games first. Your AI teammates in My Player are a bit incompetent.

Can't you just sim to the end of the game? I always do that with the old NBA 2K games when I want to rage quit. It feels like less of a loss that way. >_>

Haha yeah that's exactly what I did right after CJ Miles hit his third last second fadeaway three pointer. This team is going to make my hair gray by the end of this thing.

This game makes me rage to a point beyond belief sometimes. The Jazz just shot 60% on me, going 7/8 from three with CJ FUCKING MILES getting 6 of those threes and 30 points overall. I lost 90-60.

I rage quit in the middle of the 4th, too disgusted to even finish.

So are there any trade regulations as far as with the CPU goes? I wouldn't mind trading for a couple guys on the trade blocks.

Well I believe once a trade is proposed everyone in the league is allowed to look it over and veto if they deem it unfair.

I believe it's tailored to whatever your settings are under your options from the main menu.

I could be wrong because iv'e never touched My Player, but, I think that's what it is.

Amazing game, just got it yesterday at EB Games, $34.99 used and no scratches at all. Though I get angry, losing can be really fun sometimes. Big step up from the last 2K game I had (6) and even from playing 2K10. Only gripe I have is the "AI causes intentional fouls when they're losing and there's only a minute left" thing, it bugged me a little in 2K6, but really bugs me here because this game is just tremendous, without a doubt the best sports game I've ever played. Just got done a game with Boston (me) against 76'ers and it was back and forth through every quarter. In the 4th, the scores were 46-46, then 48-46, then it went up to 48-51 and I knew I could've made a 3 with Garnett, but my player intentionally fouled and Jrue Holiday made both freethrows to end it at 48-53

You know under the coaching settings you can put intentional fouls to manual?

I mean we could do something in terms of, if you wanna sign a guy, come in here and announce it first. Then we can determine if it's a fair signing or not.

Free Agency signings during the season. Let's try and keep it realistic guys. Of course, something like a major injury will prompt a FA signing, but, don't sign Gilbert Arenas the first day of the season just because. Only saying this because he's the highest free agent in the game right now. I honestly don't have a problem with how many guys you sign during the season, as long as it's warranted and is a realistic signing.

Also with trades, when a trade is made, I believe we all have the power to veto the trade if we deem it unfair. But, if you're going to do that, come into the thread and say you vetoed it and why. Iv'e seen it get out of hand where guys just veto trades because they're spiteful theirs didn't go through.

Also, Kemba Walker will win rookie of the year!

It's actually pretty fun, my only gripe is that you can't change sliders. But, that's something that can be looked around.

And how does this work? Madden is cut and dry. You play your week's game and sim to the next week. Is this just an open season where we can play all our games whenever (besides the human-vs-human games)?

What are we looking at for period length? And free agency? And all that crap?

Playoff stuff doesn't bother me all that much, because I don't expect to make it to the playoffs anyway.

The timer for like, the amount of time you have to play your next game? If the timer runs down your game is just simmed.

Well, me, DYSI, SDR, Rocksta and Meacon makes 5, so I'd say that's an okay number to start it.

I'll run it, but be aware that everything I run dies in terrible fashion, quickly. So if you want this to last, I wouldn't advise having me run it, but I shall if no one else steps up.

Eh, the commish doesn't have any big responsibilities in running it anyway.
