I won the spread pick'em and finished second in the straight up pick'em against guys who I can only assumed stopped trying around week 4.
I'll take it.

I'm numb.
And half drunk.
I can't believe how this season has played out. I figured they were dead after the Peterman half against the Chargers, but they managed to pull it off. #respectheprocess

Feels good to finally not be the worst at this.

Looks like I need a new CFL team to nominally be a fan of.

It's certainly not because Brady's contract is in any way shady with his TB12 company that the team also pays, allowing them to underpay the top QB in the league. Nope. Not at all.

And those scrappy underdogs still manage to fight from underneath and overcome all the odds.

Is there a loophole I’m not aware of as a reason for teams calling for them to release Rodgers?
If I understand it properly, it's because he got hurt, put on IR and brought back. They put him on IR the second time without a new injury, basically stashing him aside and freeing up a roster spot. You can't put healthy guys on IR, you have to waive them.
I think.
-
Teams are bitching about Rodgers going back on IR, say he should be released.
Pedantic nonsense mostly, but an interesting what-if.
The funniest aspect of the report is that teams actually have a perverse Christmas wish that the Packers will be forced to release Rodgers. If that would happen (and it won’t), Rodgers would be subject to waivers. Which means Rodgers would be a Cleveland Brown.
Which means Rodgers would retire from the NFL, immediately.

First time since 2008 the Pack will be missing the playoffs.

Buffalo and Jay Cutler beat the Dolphins to stay alive. This is going to sting when the Bills shit the bed in week 17.

Buffalo's idiot coach is getting bailed out by Indy's idiot coach.
Buffalo wins the dumbest football game in history.

The Colts are going to try a 43 yard extra point after a penalty on a 2-point conversion.
And he bends it in.
This is going to go to overtime, almost certainly.

I think Peterman might have got killed on that hit. Who the hell is Buffalo's backup now? @munky
Joe Webb, and if anything happens to him it'll be Logan Thomas.

Cleveland just decided to totally ignore the Rooney Rule in interviewing for their already hand-picked GM. What a franchise.
I thought that was only for head coaches?

I've successfully kicked out of several pins! I'm still getting pinned, a lot, but there's hope!

To be fair, I was kinda dragging the match out a bit to get more stars. It was basically an extended squash. I attemped a few pins towards the end that clearly should have ended the match.
The only part of the game that I consistently suck at is kicking out. I can have fun, competitive matches but if the CPU goes for the pin first, I'm fucked. Too bad there doesn't seem to be a slider for it.
-
I just picked this up, haven't played a WWE game since 2K13.
1. Is kicking out of pins even remotely possible? I got pinned by a CAW jobber (I think he was a 12 overall or something) inside of three minutes. I was Strowman. I can't seem to get the timing down on the meter no matter how many (failed) attempts I make.
2. Do stats even matter? I had a tag match between the Club and the aforementioned jobber and his similarly rated partner. It took a good fifteen minutes to beat them. Unless I went for the pin immediately after hitting a finisher he'd kickout.
Or maybe I just suck.

And Tre White is in concussion protocol now, because obviously.
