  1. I think I'm better at 17 than I was at 16. Passes seem more fluid, less mistakes and more are connecting. Shooting as well seems more responsive because I'm scoring a lot more. Still need to work on defending but I'm picking it up.

  2. Seems like a copout to me. Always does. Sure it is going to be a separate download rather than being on the disc, but much like most of the announced DLC there doesn't seem to be a reason why it couldn't already be included other than they feel they can get more money for it separately. No different from every other year. It's a shame really because I'd gladly pay for a roster update every so often if the game itself had longevity.

I guess that's the thing with this sort of game though. There is no incentive to keep playing after the new one come out. I understand that perfectly fine without pretending it is somehow for my benefit though. GTA 5 has managed to maintain players for years off the back of free DLC, albeit they obviously have a revenue stream from in game money.

  3. A celebrity series?

    What's the point?

I never got the obsession of taking good shows and replacing them with celebrity versions. Like Family Fortunes - who on earth wants to watch celebrity families?

BBC should just do a new baking show with their own IP and just make it a clone.

Punk got $500,000 for showing up, and possibly more in PPV bonuses, in contrast Gall got $15,000 to show and a $15,000 win bonus. I can only imagine what the hardcore MMA anti-wrestling fans think about this.

It would be sad that this is what got them pissed off about UFC's pay structure.

Overeem got $800k for his loss in the main event title fight.

There is a huge gap between what the top guys get and the bottom guys get.

This is the only thing I have issue with. In the pre-fight hype video, Punk said of Gall "He's fought tomato cans, that doesn't make you a professional."

Then he refused to shake Gall's hand at the weigh in and said:

He thought he could get away with acting like a tough guy and thought he could get away with trying to act like his wrestling persona and that backfired in every way possible. To me, the fact that he used his wrestling music showed that he wasn't taking this as serious as he could. If he wanted to show that this wasn't a publicity stunt  and he was committed to becoming a legitimate fighter, he would stayed as far as possible from anything to do with wrestling, but he didn't. So he can still say how much fun he had and how he's never going to give up, but you know that if he would have pulled the upset he would have talked so much shit after the fight.

He's promoting a fight. He isn't the first to do this.

  6. You can enjoy him losing if you like, I just don't see why you try to justify it as anything more than that.

You can say it is because he took a spot from someone but you know that is bullshit. He was offered the spot because UFC wanted to make money from his name, and if we lived in a crazy world where Punk turned it down because he didn't deserve the spot it doesn't mean UFC would have decided to give an opportunity to a no name.

You see the difference between not liking War Machine and not liking Punk as well, right?

  7. Gall has been training three or four times as long and is younger and healthier. I don't see why Punk could be expected to do better than he did? I mean, he escaped twice after Rogan wrote him off so clearly he did do more than rollover. He lasted longer than Gall's last opponent as well, I assume you are not going to take issue with that guy getting a UFC fight?

  8. The issue is with UFC then, not Punk. At the end of the day they approached him.

I don't see anyone criticising UFC though so I don't buy that to be the case. It seems more like people are still bitter about the circumstances of Punk's exit from WWE and are using this as fuel for the personal dislike.

  9. Last time I travelled in space I was attacked by space pirates and since there wasn't a prompt to tell me how to shoot I died. I turned off my PS4 and haven't gone back yet.

Apparently it is X though, so I'll try again.
