Thinking about the fact that you could put the SmackDown vs Raw 2009 roster into the Legends of WrestleMania game. That was such a cool feature, what other games could you have such dream matches as Snitsky vs. Festus!?

It would've been better if you could do it the other way around, though, and get the Legends of WrestleMania roster into SvR 09 because I just don't like the Legends game much at all.

Think there was a rather hacky way to import the other way around at a point.

I didn't think I'd be able to find this so easily online as I think I must have got it from Kazaa or Limewire back in the day but it was literally the first result on Youtube. I think maybe the uploader had the same exact experience as he alludes to finding it donkeys years ago online.

Anyway, overall the song has this slightly ethereal sound to it that gives it this dream like atmosphere that I really love. And the way the guitar is so isolated and simple at times you can really hear the way it resonates and it gives me this ASMR type reaction, especially between the 4 to 5.30 mins section of the song. I think the only thing missing in comparison to the studio version is that it's missing the counter point of the end of the song (I will call you out from shelter, burn your wings...) which is one of my favourite parts.

Heh, was coming here to post Coheed myself.

  3. For as wildly borderline-bullshit the physics can get as you get into the higher classes, Shift 2 Unleashed has been surprisingly alright now I picked it up again.

Track variety is right up my alley, even just in real-world venues:

    • your Spa/Brands Hatch/Laguna Seca/Monza/Silverstone "yep games has remotely sim tendancies chuck it in" tier
    • your Donington Park/Autopolis "that's a pleasant surprise"
    • your Dijon-Prenois/Suzuka West/Rouen "wait what I'm so in"

Seriously, I'd like it if Suzuka West was in more sims because there's only so many times I can do Suzuka East for a shorter course there.

In GoT, it showed Dani walking out of fire numerous times, mostly with nothing else then some soot on her.  They say many times that fire doesn't burn Targaryens.  Even in this episode Viserys has his hand over a flame with no discomfort or damage.

So how does the funeral pyre work?  Is it different because its dragon fire?  Or do they lose fire resistance in death?  If its one of those, fine, I can accept that.

But then how did they plan of cauterizing the wound on Viserys back?

    Spoiler

Nothing explicitly mentioned but possibly an adaptational change of sorts which throws a few things awry if that's the case as at least a few Targs are either killed by dragonfire or severely burnt by it.

Best explanation I can give is "Dany's fire resistance was adapted beyond it's initial magic one-off and Viserys wasn't technically directly on fire". In the latter, it makes more sense as the Targs do have higher heat tolerance which, based on their homelands, leads to some interesting theories.

As for the pyre, Aemma wouldn't have had fire resistance anyway as an Arryn which I don't think the show brought up and is my main nitpick of the first episode, an admittedly tiny one so far.

I'm still new to Game of Thrones. Never watched the series until the last month. Halfway through season 5 right now, and even though I know this new show is a prequel, I still feel like I somehow have to finish GOT proper before going to the prequel.

Do it to understand how the show timeline ends.

Read the second half of Fire & Blood to basically know how HOTD pans out.
