    Charleston, South Carolina

    Attendance: 10,027

    Rating: 5.27

~ The show opens with the new opening video package followed by a slow shot of Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff is shown. We see a video of what happened last week on Raw.

“Triple H: I was about to say before I was so rudely interrupted. August 28 at SummerSlam, you, my friend, have a date with destiny. You may have beaten me before, but I am giving you notice now. Start shining my belt up real nice, because at SummerSlam, it’s coming back to it’s rightful owner.

Batista: Hunter, the last time I checked this belt had the name Batista on it. And as you know, possession is nine tenths of the law. So if you want this belt back, you can come take it from me right now.

~ The crowd cheers as Triple H starts to leave the ring and go after Batista before Ric Flair stops him and starts to give him some advice that seem to calm down Triple H. Triple H goes back to the center of the ring and starts to talk on the microphone again.

Triple H: You just dug your own grave my friend. SummerSlam, not only will I end your title reign, but I will end your career.” Following that the opening pyrotechnics screams towards the stage and the crowd in Charleston erupts for the start of Raw!

~ “It’s time to play the game” starts up as Triple H and Ric Flair come out from the back. Flair receives a decent pop from the South Carolina crowd. They both climb in the ring and wait for the audience reaction to die down before Triple H holds the microphone up to his mouth only to be cut off by the sound of World Heavyweight Champion, Batista’s music. Batista walks down the ramp and enters the ring with a microphone in his hand. Batista and Triple H stare each other down with Flair standing behind Triple H.

Triple H: This is my time Dave, Eric Bischoff granted me this time….

Batista: (Interrupting) If you don’t want me out here, why don’t you do something about it?

Triple H: You know damn well if I hit you I will lose my shot at the World Heavyweight Title this Sunday at SummerSlam! After our match that World Heavyweight Title is coming home to me, where it belongs!

Batista: For you to be the guy I beat at WrestleMania for this title you sure talk a big game. For you to be the guy I beat at Vengeance, you certainly talk a big game. For a guy who has lost two World Heavyweight Title matches in a row, you talk a big game.

~ After that “I’m back, and better than ever” starts up and Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff walks out from the back and stops at the top of the entrance ramp.

Bischoff: I told you two that your match at SummerSlam would be one of the most innovative in the history of professional wrestling. Well I have finally finished finalizing the details for the rules of the match with Mr. McMahon. So at SummerSlam, the World Heavyweight Title will be on the line in the first ever Steel Domain Match. The World Heavyweight Title will be hanging twenty feet above the center of the ring. The only way to reach it is by climbing a ladder, but this match has an added stipulation. The ring will be surrounded by a fifteen foot high steel cage! (pop) The match will start with two ladders placed inside the steel cage. The first person to grab the World Heavyweight Title and bring it down will be declared the champion.

~ Bischoff walks to the back as Triple H and Batista stare each other down as we fade to commercial.

~ Big Show walks into the frame with Josh Matthews coming up to about his midsection.

Matthews: Well, Big Show, tell me your thoughts after you suffered that brutal attack at the hands of Maven two weeks ago on the Stone Cold Saloon.

Big Show: Well, that little bastard wants to wait until my back is turned and beat me from behind with a chair? He doesn’t know that he just woke up a sleeping giant. If he wants to protect his woman, he needs to keep her away from a lot more guys than just me. Because, Lita has been around the block more times than Jenna Jameson. She’s been around more (bleep)cks than a chicken farmer. If Maven wants to do something, let him bring it. I’ll step on his big fat head and crush him like the little peanut that he is.

  6. The Ross Report

Greetings from under the 200X black, Resistol hat from an Oklahoma Sooner who is counting the days until this years SummerSlam pay per view event. Let’s get this Sooner Schooner rolling…

SummerSlam is shaping up to be a good card.  Batista vs. Triple H is already booked, but Eric Bischoff hasn’t announced the stipulation yet.  I know I’m anxious to see what stipulation Mr. Bischoff can come up with.

I’ve also heard rumors of their being a Rey Mysterio vs. Muhammad Hassan match, as well as The Bashams representing the Raw brand by facing the Dudley Boyz.  If these rumors come to fruition or not is anybodies guess.

I’ve been watching the tournament on Extreme TV closely and I think a smart man would put his money on Chris Jericho being the one to face The Sandman at SummerSlam.

I’m really looking forward to Barely Legal in September and it should be a great weekend for all of the fans of the Extreme Brand.

I’ve also heard rumors about a hardcore version of a hell in the cell match at Barely Legal.  If anybody can make a hell in a cell match more lethal, it’s Paul Heyman.

Extreme Brand on pay per view will be the only way that Paul Heyman can recreate the msture atmosphere of his former promotion.

After watching the Great American Bash, I just want to comment about how succesfult Edge has been recently.  This young man has a bright future in the WWE, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in the main event soon.

The ranks of the college football world are dotted with wrestling heritage. Vader’s son Jesse White is a center for Oklahoma and may be redshirted, James Laurinaitis, the son of Road Warrior Animal, is playing some linebacker for Ohio State, Wild Samoan Afa’s son Afa, Jr. is playing defensive tackle for UConn, while Wild Samoan Sika’s son Joe Anoai is a defensive tackle for Georgia Tech. Do you know of others?

More rumors from SmackDown, I’ve heard that they may be adding more members to JBL’s cabinet in the near future.

Luckily we only have one major injury in the WWE right now, but Rob Van Dam is due back sometime near October.  I personally hope to see RVD showing off his skills inside a WWE ring sooner rather than later.

I would personally like to see more “Legends” utilized from time to time on both RAW and SmackDown. For instance, can you image the verbiage that would be flying if Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat were ever a guest in Carlito’s Cabana?

Enjoy SummerSlam Sunday August 28 on pay per view! I’m personally pumped about this event as it’s the first event I get to announce since the addition of the third brand.  Take care all.

  7. I figured I would experiment with some color. PM me with your thoughts. Enjoy.

I lured you into a false sense of security so I can beat you once and for all at the second biggest show of the year, SummerSlam, and make it just that much sweeter when I finally hit you with the pedigree and pin your shoulders to the mat for the 1, 2, 3 and reclaim MY World Heavyweight Title Belt!

Maven: First of all Josh, you don’t need to be jealous of Maven just because I kicked your ass on the first Tough Enough.

~ Maven grabs the microphone from Josh Matthews and shoves him out of frame.

Maven: Now, about me and Lita. We are the new power couple in the WWE. We intend to work our way through the whole WWE roster until I have the World Heavyweight Title around my waist, chewing people up and spitting ‘em out all along the way!

    Coach: You damn right fool!

AW AW AW SHAWNNNN!!!! We kick Smackdown off tonight with HBK coming down to the ring receiving a massive reaction from the thousands in attendance.

Billy Kidman vs. Scotty 2 Hotty

    The Start

Coming back from commercial we are set for the first match of the evening. Out first is the very energetic Scotty. He dances into the ring, and awaits his opponent. Kidman’s music hits and he makes his way to the ring. Kidman shows little emotion on his way to the ring, he just gets in, takes his ring jacket off, and waits in the corner. The bell rings, and Scotty plays to the crowd right away, clapping his hands together. With his attention turned, Scotty is jumped by Kidman to start this matchup.

    Mid Match

After an early mugging by Kidman, Scotty begins to regain his composure. He fights back on the vicious Kidman with forearm shots. He whips Kidman into the ropes, and meets him with a flying back elbow directed right at the heart. He nips up, and waits for Kidman to get up also. As Kidman slowly gets to his feet he is met with a dropkick, Kidman is up quickly this time, and is sent down with another. Scotty is on fire in this match right now! Kidman rolls to the outside, to stop Scotty’s momentum. This plan doesn’t work however as Scotty launches himself over the top rope to the floor with a version of the Wild Thing(used by Marc Mero in his Wildman days). Scotty rolls Kidman in and looks for the win. 1-2-kick out!

    The Finish

As the match went on it seemed Scotty was losing stem. The Wild Thing seemed to take as much if not more out of him then it did Kidman. Kidman takes full advantage of Scotty’s energy loss. As the match grows older the match becomes slower, favoring Kidman in the long run. Not only that, but it appeared Scotty tweaked his knee at some point. Kidman feels the time is right, so he drags Scotty’s carcass over to the corner, and then climbs the turnbuckle. He hits a modified version of the Shooting Star Press, driving his own knee into Scotty’s injured knee. With that he is able to make the cover.1-2-3!

    Winner: Billy Kidman

After the match, Kidman looks deep into the TV camera, and speaks clearly and plainly.

Kidman: London, this thing ends at the Bash!

Hassan: How pathetic! Look at you downing that apple pie. You must be pretty proud to be an American huh, how sad!

Jindrak: Yeah damn right I’m proud. This is the greatest time in history to be a proud American. Think about it, it summer time. We’re kicking some serious ass in Iraq. Plus we have the Great American Bash coming in just a couple weeks!

Hassan: Ah yes, the Great American Bash. The pay per view that Theodore Long has yet to book me in. You know I deserve some respect. And I’m going to get it. Starting with punks just like you. How about me and you at the Bash?

Jindrak: Are you kidding me? I don’t want to waste my time with the likes of you. I’ve got matches with superstars like Randy Orton. I have bigger fish to fry. I’ll get a match for the Bash just wait and see. But I’ll tell you what, I’ll take on your America hating’ ass next week!

Hassan turns away for a few seconds, then attacks! He beats Jindrak all around the food, finally leaving down in a heap on the ground.

Joey Mercury vs. Paul London-Cruiserweight Title

    The Start

Out first is one half of MNM Joey Mercury. The carpet is out, and the paparazzi are out in full force snapping pictures as Mercury comes out with Melina at his side. After Melina enters the ring in her unique style, the music of Cruiserweight Champion Paul London hits. He rushes to the ring, slides under the ropes, and stomps around the ring. The bell sounds, and the action is on!

    Mid Match

Mercury slows down the fast paced action London had going in the early part of the match. In doing so, Joey has shifted the momentum his way. He pounds London’s back with a double axehandle, sending the champ to the mat. He then taunts Paul as he screams in pain. Mercury takes this time to snap a fake picture of the fallen champ. From his knees, London fights back with a semi effective punch to the gut. Due to it not having much steam however, Mercury is able to shake it off, and go back to work. He focuses on London’s back, for the most part. He feels so confident during the course of the match, he even makes gestures of the belt around his waist.

    The Finish

London’s mounds a bit of a come back on Mercury after taking much punishment. The challenger is reeling, on the brink of giving in. Paul takes this time to head up to the top, to perhaps put an end to this one. However it appears Mercury was only playing possum, as he sprints up to the top turnbuckle to meet London. Joey sets up for a massive superplex. With a hand on the top rope, Paul blocks the attack. He then takes Mercury and sends him face first down to the mat. Joey flips over to his back from the impact, in perfect position for London’s finisher. Paul sets himself up steady, before hitting his 450 splash. 1-2-3!!

    Matt Morgan vs. Tajiri

    The Start

Out first is the Japanese Buzzsaw Tajiri, who walks to the ring in a rather crouched position. He rolls under the bottom rope, and awaits the large challenge set up for him tonight in the form of Matt Morgan. Morgan soon is on his way to the ring also, along with Carlito. Morgan enters over the top rope, and looks down at Tajiri. He then burst out into laughter, Carlito soon follows, as they mock the smaller Tajiri. Tajiri, showing no fear challenges Morgan to a test of strength. Morgan seems confused, but puts his hand to Tajiri’s, as they lock up. Morgan raises the other hand too, but is met by a massive kick to the thigh as only Tajiri can do. Carlito is fuming on the outside, as Tajiri gains an early advantage in this one.

    Mid Match

From the get go, obviously Tajiri’s strategy was to take out Matt’s legs, breaking him down to size. With tactics like he showed in the early going, including the tarantula, he succeeded for the most part. However, soon Morgan had had enough, and his mean streak was shining through. As Tajiri tried once again to lock in the tarantula, Morgan turned himself around and pushed Tajiri out to the floor, head first! He then proceeded to inflict pain on the outside of the ring, while obeying the referee’s ten second count. This was not the Matt Morgan we had seen in the past few weeks hitting on his master Carlito, this was Matt Morgan the monster! In the ring he clubbed away on Tajiri’s back like there was no tomorrow. Tajiri struggled to even gain a vertical base. This made Carlito very happy on the outside.

    The Finish

Soon Morgan’s animal instincts seemed to fade. Making Carlito proud was getting Matt so pumped up, at times he’d forget about the match. He would look to the arena floor, and stare at Carlito. Caribbean Cool finally got on the apron, screaming at Morgan to pay attention. This forced the referee to restrain Carlito, giving Tajiri time to hit the mist into the eyes of Morgan. With Morgan blinded, Tajiri went to the top, and hit a frankensteiner on Matt, followed up by a pin, 1-2-3!

    Winner: Tajiri

Carlito is furious on the outside, screaming at the blinded Matt as Smackdown goes to a break.

My Time Is Now plays throughout the arena as WWE Champ John Cena makes his way to the ring. He throws up his word life sign to the fans, as the building goes crazy. He takes a mic, and with a grin on his face, asks for the music to be cut.

Cena: You know, JBL has been on my ass ever sense Wrestlemania. It’s been fun beating his ass as many times as I have. But the fact is, I’ve had enough! Well almost. You see I figured a guy like JBL isn’t gonna stop until he gets a fair shot. So, I’ve talked Teddy Long into making this final match between us a Last Man Standing match! So JBL, get ready for the bash bitch! You say that it is your pay per view, well I guess you’ll have to prove it!

With that said, Cena leaves the ring, putting up the word life sign to the delight of his chain gang.

    Randy Orton vs. Mark Jindrak

    The Start

During Mr. Long’s announcement, Mark Jindrak had made his way to the ring. He is now standing in a corner, awaiting the Legend Killer. Randy Orton’s music hits, and out comes the man himself. He does his pose on the stage, as the fireworks goes off behind him. He then struts his way to the ring, for this match. The bell sounds when the referee has checked both men for hidden weapons, and the match is on!

    Mid-Match

Orton tried to intimidate the youngster in the early going. But Jindrak didn’t fall for any of it, knowing what Orton is all about. The decision to go right for Orton paid off great for Jindrak, as he is the aggressor right from the start. But as the match went on, Jindrak started making mistakes. Finally, Orton caught on when Jindrak ducked his head while trying to hit a back body drop. Orton took full advantage with a vicious DDT, which folded Jindrak up like an accordion. Orton does his pose before attempting a very half assed pin attempt. Not surprisingly, only a two count was accomplished. Orton doesn’t seemed too worried however, as he picks Jindrak up by his hair. With Mark on his knees, Orton taunts and screams at him. Just when it seemed Jindrak was down and out however, Orton’s screams seemed to give him new life, as he grabs Orton’s trunks and tosses him through the ropes, and to the floor.

    The Finish

The action spills out to the floor for a bit, as both men take every liberty possible with steel objects on the outside, including steel steps, and the guardrail. It appears as though Orton has gained the most out of this exchange, as he leaves Jindrak lying on the ring mats at ringside, hoping for a count out victory. It appeared that was exactly what he was going to get, but at the 8 count, Jindrak dragged his broken body back into the ring. Orton once again stayed very cool and calm, as he allowed Jindrak to his feet. Only to hit the RKO, and send him back down. He then went for the pin, 1-2-kickout!! Now the pressures of the match are starting to get to the Legend Killer. He never expected Jindrak to kick out of his RKO. He waits once again for his adversary to get to his feet. This time he took a run off the ropes, and hit another RKO. Pin attempt once more, 1-2-3!

    Winner: Randy Orton

Back from break we see the ring set up for another edition of Carlito’s Cabana. The host of the show Carlito is on his way to the ring with apple in hand. Not far behind, literally, is his bodyguard Matt Morgan. Who is still whipping Tajiri’s mist from his eyes from earlier in the night. As CCC enters the ring, he very sternly tells Morgan to stay on the outside. Carlito gets in the ring with a grin. He is then handed a mic.

CCC: Ok so earlier on didn’t go so well for us. But that changes at the Great American Bash. Finally Teddy Long has done the right thing, he has given me a match with that punk Tajiri! What happened tonight was no cool. But at the Bash, all things once again become…cool! Anyway, tonight on the Cabana we have someone who everyone in this arena should look up to. This is a man who does nothing wrong. Here he is ladies and gentlemen, Edge!

You Think You Know Me… Smoke fills the entrance way as Edge comes storming out from the back filled with energy. He slides in the ring, and takes a mic of his own. His music dies down, and small pockets of You Screwed Matt, and We Want Matt chants start up. Instantly Matt Morgan gets up on the apron to cover Edge’s ears. Edge shrugs him off, and soaks in the chants.

CCC: Excuse these people Edge, they spend too much time in their parents basements. They don’t know cool like we do.

Edge: You got that right Carlito, these people spend way to much time reading dirt sheets, and interfering in something they know nothing about.

CCC: Look I don’t know who these people are talking about. But one guy I know about is Shawn Michaels. He was out here earlier telling all these people he has someone who he is bringing to the bash to take on you and Christian…

Edge: I’m not afraid of that punk. I’ve beaten him so many times, he has no meaning to me anymore. He is no legend, no show stopper, no main event that’s for sure. Listen to me Shawn, you’re almost out of time. It doesn’t matter anyway, whoever you had in mind probably doesn’t have the guts to take on the greatest tag team in the game today…

All of the sudden the lights in the arena go out. The fans go absolutely insane, as they think they know what’s going on. Before anything happens however, the lights are back on, and Edge is wearing the face of complete fear.

    Edge: This interview is over!

He then drops his mic with a thud, and exits through the crowd like a coward.

Edge lost 2 points of overness from this segment.

    John Cena vs. Orlando Jordon

    The Start

The match made my GM Long earlier in the night is up next. First out is Orlando Jordon. He comes out in the longhorn limo, alongside #1 Contender JBL. They step out of the limo, and give the longhorn sign to the crowd. This is not well received, as the two are met with massive heat on their way to the ring. The music of JBL stops, there is a short pause, then the trumpets sound and WWE Champ John Cena comes out. The fans go absolutely ballistic as their hero comes out. Cena hands his belt over to the ref, JBL leaves the ring, and the bell sounds!

    Mid Match

In the early going, John Cena had adrenaline like you wouldn’t believe. This alone gave him the advantage. But it seemed to fade early, and that’s when Jordon took over. It also helped that JBL was on the outside. Any chance he got was taken, whether it been holding John’s foot, or tripping him completely. So thanks to his mentor, Orlando Jordon seemed to have Cena exactly where he wanted him. This is when Jordon’s amateur boxing background came out in full force. He jabbed Cena until Cena couldn’t stand. Jordon then went outside his box a bit, by climbing the turnbuckles. Up on the top turnbuckle, Orlando hit Cena with a well placed axe handle shot.

    The Finish

As things go even longer, it looks worse for John. JBL is still taking every chance he can get to make it harder for Cena. But soon, it catches up with Bradshaw, the referee finally catches him in the act, and boots him from the ringside area! This has Jordon furious on the inside. His attention is not on Cena anymore, and John takes full advantage. He spins Jordon around, and unloads with punches. These punches however did not come from an amateur boxing background. JBL has yet to leave the arena, as he watches Cena deliver blow after blow. Finally, Orlando is on the champs shoulders, Cena looks straight at JBL, and drives Jordon down! 1-2-3!!

    Winner: WWE Champion, John Cena

We go to our final commercial break with JBL and Cena jaw jacking like you wouldn’t believe.

    ~~

After the show’s final commercial break, we hear some familiar music. AW AW AW SHAWNNN!! It looks like we’re ending the show the same we started it, with the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. This time Shawn comes out with less dance and flair. He just gets in the ring, and takes a mic.

HBK: Well well well. I listened to Edge run his mouth earlier about how unafraid of me he was. But in the same breath he almost soiled himself when I dropped a little surprise on the Cabana. So boys, if you want to hear the rest of my surprise, be my guest to a front row seat. Come on down!

Christian’s music plays, and Captain Charisma walks out onto the stage. He taunts HBK, screaming and making gestures. Shawn is so wrapped up in seeing this; he doesn’t notice Edge sneaking through the crowd, the same way he left the Cabana, and into the ring. He jumps HBK, and kicks him while he is down. Christian sprints down to the ring, joining in on the beating. Shawn can’t defend himself against this two on one assault. But he doesn’t have to for long, as once again the lights in the arena go out. Once again the crowd is a buzz. The buzz gets louder as the lights are brought back to life. Standing behind E & C is none other than The Undertaker! Christian has to take a double take, as he can’t believe it! Single handedly Taker unloads on the brothers with punches. He has Edge reeling on the ropes, and Christian on the verge of falling over. Shawn Michaels gets back to his feet after a long breather, and takes Edge and himself over the top rope with a vicious clothesline. Christian is now left alone with the Dead Man. Taker gives the thumb over the throat sign, as he lifts Christian for the tombstone piledriver. He drills Christian’s head into the mat, just as the bell tolls. The last image shown is The Undertaker standing over the Captain with eyes rolled back into his head.

~ The show opens with the new opening video package followed by a slow shot of Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff. Following that the opening pyro screams towards the stage and the crowd in Cincinnati erupts for the start of Raw!

J.R.: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Raw! We are live from Cincinnati, and what a night we have planned for you tonight.

King: Yeah J.R. in tonight's main event we will see Kane face Triple H one on one!

~ Batista's music starts up and cuts of Lawler before he can say anymore. Out comes the World Heavyweight Champion in his suit and high dollar attire to a loud pop from the audience. Batista climbs in the ring with the belt placed over his shoulder. He has a microphone in his hand and begins to address the audience.

Batista: You know, Triple H, I am getting real sick and tired of you sticking your big ass nose in my business. Everytime I turn around there you are, with Flair right behind you, kissing your ass! Last week you came out here and had the nerve to challenge me to another match? I've already beaten you three times with the title on the line. How many times do I have to beat you before you get the message, Hunter? I'm better than you. I always will be. You may be the ten time champion, Triple H, but I am the man that beat you on the tenth time.

~ "I'm back...........and better than ever!" starts up as Raw General Manager Eric Bischoff walks out from the back and heads to the ring. As Bischcoff climbs in the ring he smiles at Batista before talking into his microphone.

Bischoff: Batista, if you really want to end this thing with Triple H.....allow me to do you a favor. At SummerSlam, you two will face each other for the World Heavyweigh Title. (pop) BUT.......since you guys have faced each other so many times already, this match is missing something. It needs something spectacular. Although I don't quite have all the details ironed out yet, there will be a special stipulation for this match. As soon as everything is finalised I will make an announcement right here on Raw about that stipulation, but rest assured, Batista, it will be something that nobody has ever seen before.

    ~ We fade to commercial.

~ We see Kenzo Suzuki in the ring and some generic latin music starts up as Super Crazy makes his way to the ring. He runs down the ramp slides in the ring does a brief head stand before flipping over onto his feet.

King: And there will be a special stipulation of some sort! I can't wait for SummerSlam!

    Super Crazy vs. Kenzo Suzuki

Referee for this match: Brian Hebner

~ Crazy and Suzuki lock up and Suzuki backs him to the corner before hitting a palm thrust to the chin. Suzuki whips Crazy into the other corner and follows him in but Crazy uses the ropes to slinshot himself over Suzuki. With Suzuki now in the corner, Crazy drokicks him and then climbs the corner mount. As he hits his ten punches the audience counts along (in English except for the tried and true ECW smarks in the audience who counted in Spanish). Crazy hops out of the corner and hip tosses Suzuki down to the mat. Crazy climbs to the top rope and hits a guillotine leg drop on Suzuki before going for the pin. 1..........2.....kick out! Then he moves his legs down and kicks Super Crazy in the face to break the hold. Suzuki gets back to his feet and picks Crazy back up to whip him to the ropes. Crazy bounces off the ropes and comes back and Suzuki tries a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, but Crazy turns it into a flying headscissors sending Suzuki down to the mat. We then go to the back where we see Marty Jannetty with his arm around Eugene's back as they are walking down a cooridor. Jannetty has a black duffle bag in his hand and as they approach a locker room door with a star on it, Jannetty hands him the bag.

Jannetty: Eugene, I talked your Uncle Eric into giving us a tag match tonight.

    Eugene: Me and you?

Jannetty: Yeah, buddy. And I bought you some new gear. It's here in this bag. Hurry up and get ready, buddy. Our match is next.

J.R.: Welcome back to Raw ladies and gentlemen. Still to come tonight we have an awesome main event when the big red machine takes on Triple H.

King: And apparently we have a new tag team here with Marty Jannetty and..........Eugene?

~ Some generic hair band music begins as Lilian Garcia announces the entrance of the debuting tag team.

Garcia: Now coming to the ring, the newest WWE tag team, Marty Jannetty and Eugene, the Rockers 2005!

~ Jannetty and Eugene walk out from the back and they haev on matching outfits. Long black tights with green stripes and long green tassles hanging from the sides. They have on black boots and green wristbands with tassles on both of those as well. Jannetty and Eugene climb to the middle turnbuckles to illicit a crowd response, but the Heart-Throbs attack them from behind as the referee calls for the bell.

~ Eugene and Marty Jannetty celebrate their victory before leaving the ring. Jannetty exits like the Rockers of old by doing a backflip over the top rope and landing on the floor on his feet. Eugene tries to emulate Jannetty but becomes tangled up in the ropes and requires assistance from his partner before they walk off to the back. Then we see a shot of a hallway in the back where Joel Gertner is standing. He is in front of a large buffet table picking up snacks of various sorts.

Gertner: (mimicking Bischoff) Get me some food, Joel.......get me some coffee, Joel! I'm going to give him a good kick in the ass one of these days.

~ A deep voice is heard from somewhere off camera.

Deep Voice: Hey, you gonna eat all that?

~ Joel Gertner turns around to see a very large Mark Henry standing there.

    Gertner: Uhhhh......no, these are for......

King: Mark Henry is back in the WWE on Raw and we have an Intercontinental Title match........isn't Raw great?

~ After Snitsky has reached the ring "Ain't no stopping me..........noooow!" starts up and I-C champ Shelton Benjamin walks out to the ring with the belt around wrapped around his waist. Benjamin climbs in the ring and unstraps the belt and holds it above his head in the corner before handing it to the ref. The ref displays it above his head before handing it to the time keeper and starting the match.

Referee for this match: Charles Robinson

~ The bell rings and Benjamin runs at Snitsky and tries to shoulder tackle him down but looks like he runs into a brick wall and then flops around on the mat. Snitsky picks Benjamin up and sits him up on his shoulder before slamming him down to the canvas. Snitsky goes for the pin. 1..........2........Benjamin kicks out! He lifts Benjamin back up off the mat and then backs him into a corner. Snitksy knees him in the stomach repeatedly before moving him out towards the middle of the ring and setting him up for a powerbomb. As Snitsky picks him up Benjamin spins around and turns it into a DDT! Benjamin slowly pulls himself to his feet using the ropes and then climbs to the apron and then to the top rope. Snitsky is back to his feet and turns around to get greeted by a missile dropkick from Benjamin sending both men to the canvas. Benjamin gets back to his feet first and he then helps Snitsky up as well. Benjamin whips Snitsky into the ropes and as he comes back he nails Snitsky with another dropkick. Benjamin climbs to the top rope again and hits a big elbow drop. Benjamin then picks Snitsky up off the mat. All of a sudden all of the lights in the arena go off.

J.R.: Well apparently Sabu wants to be a part of the show one way or another.

~ Mysterio high fives some fans on the way to the ring before we hear a cell phone ring followed by "Can you feel the heat?" and Eddie Guerrero makes his entrance.

    Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero

Referee for this match: Jim Cordaris

~ The bell rings and the two men lock up. Guerrero pushes him back to the corner and then chops him in chest. Guerrero whips Mysterio to the opposite corner and follows him in, but Mysterio uses the ropes to slingshot out to the apron and then he punches Guerrero in the face. Mysterio then hops to the top rope and bounds onto Guerrero's shoulders and hits the hurricanrana causing Guerrero to fly between the ropes and to the arena floor. Mysterio climbs to the top rope and hits a diving plancha on Guerrero on the floor. Both men are laying on the protective padding on the floor as the ref starts his mandatory ten count. Mysterio gets back to his feet first and as he tries to help Guerrero up, Eddie grabs him by the tights and pulls him backwards causing Mysterio to crash into the steel steps head first. The ref reaches five on his count as Guerrero rolls in the ring to stop the count and then rolls back out. He picks Mysterio up and whips him into the security barrier back first. Mysterio bounces off the barrier and lands face first on the protective padding. Guerrero picks him back up and slides him back into the ring. Guerrero climbs to the apron and then into the ring before kicking Mysterio as he layed on the mat. Guerrero picks him back up to his feet and whips him to the ropes. Mysterio bounces off the ropes and comes back at Guerrero. As Mysterio starts to swing through the ropes, Guerrero drops down and Mysterio swings all the way through the ropes without hitting Guerrero. Guerrero slides out to the apron and then grabs Mysterio by the head and drops down off the apron causing Mysterio to land throat first on the top rope. Guerrero climbs back up to the apron and catapults himself over the top rope and hits a forearm on Mysterio as he way laying on the canvas. He raises his hand and is about to knock on the door when the door opens and out walks Big Show with his pants unbuttoned and pulling a shirt over his head. Maven looks a little confused.

Maven: What are you doing here?

Big Show: Oh......uh, we had a, uh, little creative meeting......uh, why are you here?

Maven: I got a date with her, bitch!

Triple H backs away from Kane and then comes running at him and hits Kane in the face with his knee. ~ “It’s time to play the game,” starts up and out comes Triple H and Ric Flair to a chorus of boos. Both men have suits and ties on as they walk down to the ring and climb in. Triple H is handed a microphone from ringside announcer Lilian Garcia as he waits for the audience to calm down. An “asshole” chant starts as Triple H begins to speak.

Triple H: First off I’d like to say that this show would suck without me and every damn one of you knows it! (boo) Now it’s time to get down to business. Batista (pop) you have something I want. You have the World Heavyweight Title, and that belt belongs to me! (boo) You may have beaten me at Vengeance, you were the first person to beat me in the hell in a cell match and for that you deserve all the credit in the world. However, Dave, I am the game. And the game gets to make all the rules. I am the one and only true Raw superstar. I am the ten time Heavyweight Champion of the World! You are nothing but a bush-leaguer who just happened to get lucky once or twice. (boo) I have a little proposition for you Batista. I know that tonight you are facing Eddie Guerrero right here tonight on Raw. After that match, I want a decision. Give me a rematch. If you don't you will regret that decision for the rest of you life. You see, Batista, I have a lot of friends in high places…..and most of these friends owe me a few favors and it'd be easier than Lita to get you blackballed from the entire industry. Not only that, but my best friend in the whole world, The Nature Boy (pop) has a lot of favors owed to him by the many people he knows in positions of power. One more time, Batista, that is all I am asking. One more match with you for the World Heavyweight Title!

~ As Triple H’s music starts up again and he leaves the ring we see Eric Bischoff standing in his office in the back when Joel Gertner comes in to a pop from the audience. Gertner has on similar attire to what he had at One Night Stand, and he has a Styrofoam cup in his hand.

Gertner: Here is your coffee, Mr. Bischoff.

Bischoff: (Taking the cup from him) Ahhhh, Joel. A man who just last month was begging me for a job and now, here you are serving me coffee. Does life get any better than this?

Gertner: I guess not, Mr. Bischoff.

~ Bischoff takes a sip from the cup and spits it out all over Joel Gertner’s face.

Bischoff: Ahh geez, I told you two sugars and one cream, you stupid idiot!

~ Bischoff throws the rest of the coffee on Gertner before throwing him out of the office.

Bischoff: (Looking into the camera) Now, I want to make an announcement to Theodore Long and Paul Heyman! (pop) I know that I have something both of you would be interested in. For instance, Theodore, I have Tazz your color commentator. What would you be willing to give to me in order for me to give him back to you? And Mr. Heyman, I have Mick Foley and Sabu. You have some big name talent that would look a lot better on Raw than on your God forsaken, piece of garbage show. Let me know when you are ready to deal. Oh and by the way, Sabu will never have a match on Raw! (boo) That disgusting freak was only drafted as trade bait! He doesn’t belong with the high caliber athletes that are here on Raw.

    ~ We fade to commercial.

~ We come back and we see J.R. and The King.

J.R.: Well big news we just heard, King, Sabu has only been drafted as trade bait. He will never even make an appearance on Raw.

    Jannetty: Yeah, that’s me.

Eugene: You are so cool….You member the time when you and Shawn Michaels was fightin’ Power and Glory at SummerSlam 90? And Hercules beated up Shawn with that big chain like, (imitates a Hercules punch) Blam!?

Jannetty: (Standing up) You know what Eugene, I think you and I should have a little talk.

This draft thing really sucked for a girl like Victoria, now she can never be the WWE Women’s Champion ever again. And who else is there on Raw for me to face. Let’s see we got Torrie Wilson (pop)……well that wouldn’t work since she’s just a glorified stripper. Who else? ………. And there’s Ivory, although she is so old she could probably barely even get in the ring let alone keep up with me. Then we have Lita. And the episode Seven The Hard Way of Boy Meets World when Eric says "Lose one friend, lose all friends, lose yourself."

Can anyone tell me what happened ? , i watched this on and off for a while on Disney Channel because it was on after Smart Guy .

  14. I'm going to say the episode of Boy Meets World when Corey met the other girl on a ski trip and started to fall for her and then went on a date just because he wanted to know if their was anybody besides Topanga for him. He decided he wanted to stay with Topanga, but she dumped him.

  15. There is a song called "Steal My Sunshine" from a few years ago that would probably work. I believe the bands name is Len. When I read chessy summer pop song that was the first thing that popped into my head. The video had them running around a beach on mopeds. Unbelievably cheesy and pop-y :shifty:

    July 8, 2005

    The Wachovia Spectrum

    Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

    Attendance: 8,037

    Rating: 4.36

~ The show starts with the ECW logo being blown away by the new WWE Extreme logo. Then the music starts up with the voiceover saying “It’s Extreme!” Then some footage from ECW: One Night Stand is shown. Lance Storm’s leap to the top rope, Super Crazy’s balcony moonsault, Rob Van Dam dropkicking the chair into Rhyno’s face, Mike Awesome almost dropping Masato Tanaka on his head, and to end the opening video we see the bloody Tommy Dreamer being powerbombed through the flaming table by the Dudley Boyz. As the video ends we see Rob Van Dam standing in front of a banner with the WWE Extreme logo on it.

RVD: ECW has finally gotten the respect it deserves from Vince McMahon. When I came to Vince with the idea of doing an ECW pay-per-view I never knew that this would come from it. But, what set ECW apart from other companies was their willingness to go beyond the perimeters of abnormality. ECW changed the business once and we are here to do it again. R-V-D 4:20….I’m about to smoke someone’s ass again!

~ Now we go to ringside where we see the entrance of the Dudley Boyz and Joey Styles finally has a chance to welcome us to the debut episode of Extreme TV.

~ Bubba Ray has a microphone in his hand as the fans chant “E-C-Dub, E-C-Dub!”

Bubba Ray: That’s nice and all to get that response, but me and D-Von are out here for one reason and one reason only. We want a fight. We’ve seen the people that Paul E. has been drafting and we don’t think that there is anybody in the back that has big enough balls to face us right now, right here!

~ From the back comes the next Extreme draft pick, Balls Mahoney and his tag team partner Axl Rotten. They have steel chairs in hands as they dive in the ring followed by Jim Mollineux.

Chair Swinging Freaks vs. The Dudley Boyz

We were always honest with our fans, and I think that nowadays, with the internet, companies have to be more honest with their fans, because the fans find out anyway. 75 - EXTREME – CW ANDERSON! ECW was made up of a bunch of guys who went out there and worked their asses off night after night……put their bodies on the line…..for the enjoyment of the fans. 76 - RAW – MARK HENRY! COMMERCIAL BREAK

~ We come back to see the mad scientist himself, Paul Heyman standing in front of the Extreme banner with his Extreme baseball cap on over top of his production headset.

Heyman: As the numbers continue to grow for the smash-hit DVD “The Rise and Fall of ECW,” pride swells in the hearts of all ECW alumni. It’s hard to convey the passion of those who made it all happen. We took a once-in-a-while promotion in a bingo hall literally on the wrong side of the tracks in South Philadelphia, and exploded it into a worldwide phenomenon. 87 - EXTREME - JT SMITH! When the TV stations wouldn’t air us because we were too counterculture, the ECW audience rose up like an army and faxes, e-mailed, even picketed the stations to get us on the air. 88 - RAW – VISCERA! When the pay-per-view carriers wouldn’t carry us because of political pressure, the ECW faithful waged war, bombarding the PPV companies until there was no choice but to give us our chance. 89 – SMACKDOWN! - SINISTER MINISTER! When the cable networks refused to have meetings with us, the hardcore members of ECW’s fan base threatened boycotts, organized petitions, and chanted “ECW” in front of network executives’ offices and homes until we ended up on national TV. 90 - EXTREME - MIKE AWESOME! It wasn’t a cult. ECW was a lifestyle. From the awe-inspiring moves innovated by Sabu, to the spirited catfights between Beulah McGillicutty and Francine. From the shriek of “Oh my God!” by Joey Styles, to the vile, vulgar tirades of The Dudley Boyz. From the clumsiness of JT Smith, to the grace of the Three-Way Dances with Tajiri, Super Crazy and Little Guido. From the excitement we felt when Mikey Whipwreck would steal the show, to the chest-thumping war mentality we adopted when Steve Austin broke out of his shell. From the tear-jerking moments we shared with Terry Funk, to the exhilaration that came over us when Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, Psicosis, and Juventud Guerrera proved that the ECW audience recognized great talent. From the great love we felt for each other, to our passionate hatred for everything corporate. 91 - RAW –BEULAH MCGUILLICUTTY! The ECW experience was one shared amongst the audience who cheered us on, the performers who made it happen, and the promotion honored enough to offer a product that, to this day, is being emulated the world over. 92 – SMACKDOWN! – FRANCINE! To the performers who made the vision come true, and to the audience whose passion made ECW a worldwide brand, I only wish I could find the way to convey the depth of my appreciation. It genuinely was something special. And we shared it. Together. 93 - EXTREME – ELEKTRA! For that I am eternally grateful. Thank you so much for allowing me to live out the dream called ECW.

  21. On Sunday June 5, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon made a monumental decision that will change the WWE forever. Vince McMahon, considering the amount of hoopla surrounding ECW One Night Stand, that he would postpone the WWE Draft Lottery.

On Sunday June 12, ECW One Night Stand sold approximately 850,000 buys. In the following weeks the replays sold an additional 150,000 buys from those who thought the WWE would taint the legacy of ECW after hearing about the content of the show.

On Sunday June 19, Vince McMahon was staring at a cold realization. The WWE product was getting bland, and just as when ECW first made an impact in the wrestling world, he needed something that rejuvenate the business. He needed the wrestling version of Nirvana.

On Sunday June 26, Vince McMahon announces at Vengeance that the WWE Draft Lottery will start on Monday, July 4 after a major announcement that will change the WWE forever.

  22. I think that for nexty season they will bring in another big star to play the new captain, but this time it will be someone who is on Aceveda's side and will try to disband the Strike Team once again. I think Ed O'Neil (Al Bundy from Married... With Children) would make a great new captain on the show. Just my opinion.
