  1. Talk in a couple of the morning papers is that Balotelli will get a 9 game ban. He'll get one game for the sending off against Arsenal plus two extra games because it's his third sending off of the season. On top of that would be three games for the challenge on Song plus another three because that would count as his fourth red. I say good, might teach him a lesson.

If this happens and Balotelli gets shipped off to another league (e.g. La Liga), would his new league enforce the ban? Or does it only get implemented if he returns to the Premier League?

  2. Mercedes GP is making the steps that are needed to eventually get itself to the front of the Formula 1 grid.

That is the view of Mercedes-Benz motorsport boss Nobert Haug, who feels that the outfit has learned valuable lessons over the past two seasons that should help it make good progress.

This being the last year of Schumacher's contract, hopefully 2012 is when he wins another race.

I'm doubtful he and Mercedes can pull it off, but I'd like to be proven wrong about this.

  3. It's not as though AVB was "calling Roman out" or anything. He basically acknowledged that the reporters aren't going to believe him when he says it, as evidenced by them repeatedly asking him about it for weeks now. "Stop asking me questions if you won't accept my answers" was he real message.

Would it have taken Abramovich more than 2 minutes to say something about Villas-Boas? Or have his spokesman do the talking for him?

  4. Yeah, NY just got Anthony and Davis back from injury. They have to adjust internally, as well as adjust to how everyone's now seriously gunning for them.

Okay, so the Knicks are at the stage where they can beat good teams (Dallas), and lose to bad teams (New Jersey).

They better be ready for Miami.

The last NY team with that kind of ridiculous up and down play from week to week won a championship. Let's hope history repeats itself. I'd like to see the Knicks win a title before I die.

The unfortunate thing is whoever wins the championship this season is going to have Phil Jackson or someone else pin an asterisk to their title, thanks to the lockout.
