  1. I didn't like season 4 at all.

The other seasons were all pretty brilliant though.

Oh, on that note, when Angelus came back for that breif moment, I was happy.

And also on that note: Angelus is the greatest TV character of all time.

  2. You can't compare the MegaDrive and the SNES. Compare the Genesis and the SNES, in which case Genesis > *. Stupid fucking blood code.

nm, I thought the MegaDrive was the oldschool Sony system. Still Genesis is a better name then MegaDrive.

Its just that in Europe the Mega Drive was the name for it, shoulda statred that in my post. And I cant be arsed to edit it now.

Snes was probably the best console due its vast amount of RPGs on it, some were a bitch to find, but so worth it when you did finally find them.

But the Genesis/Megadrive did have its moments, no doubt.

  3. So, I decided I needed a catchy title for this string of threads I plan on doing. While it isn't catchy, you'd have to agree its bitchin. Anyways, onto the show.

Super Famicom November 21, 1990 (Japan)

Known as the Super Famicom in Japan the system is basically the same as the UK version excpet that it runs at 60Mhz and has territorial lockout. Controllers have smaller leads and have super Famicom written on them. It cost 32,000 yen when released and came with 2 controllers and Super Mario World.

    SNES US September 1991 (USA)

Released in the US with a new case design. Games came on different shaped carts to the Famicom verison being more rectangular. Also later released as a slimmer version, bit like a small UK shape but basically the same hardware with the Rf output removed.

    SNES UK June 1992 (Europe)

Not released in Europe until 1992 the European version came in the same style case as the Famicom. Games available at release included Super Mario world 3 and F-Zero. PAL consoles play games approx 16% slower than an NTSC one, with larger black borders at the top and bottom of the screen. We can supply or fit PAL systems with a switch to allow them to play like a US console at full-speed and in full-screen

    Megadrive Version 1 1988

Sega beat Nintendo to the 16-bit market with the megadrive and the machine established itself as being the cool machine to own. Games were notably more violent that the SNES, with less influence over of what was released there are loads of average games amongst the classics.

    Megadrive Version 2 1989

Headphone jack removed, A/V port changed to a custom multi out port that provides stereo sound to T.V’s, RF port removed, Different AC adapter used, Push button power switch.

A third version genesis 3 was realesed in the US

So, in your personal opinion which of the two fufilled your need for entertainment the most, and which had the best selection of games on?

    Let the Mass Debation begin!

  4. All those teams you mentioned had winning goals wrongfully disallowed?

    Exactly.

2002 World Cup. Both against South Korea. The Hosting Nation. It happens.

Edit - Squancho, I never implied that at all. But there a number of us who do, it happens all over this country, and over others. It isnt all of us, and you know I didnt mean that.

  5. Because we make fair comments when we have a goal dissalowed.

GOD DAMN THE ENGLISH FANS FOR BEING PASSIONATE. GOD DAMN US ALL TO HELL.

Passionate enough so that we nearly get sent back for bad fan behaviour?

The game was great. And everyone is letting a single incident overule this fact. The Portugese were the better team and were unlucky not to score a number more goals. We were unlucky to have that goal dissallowed. It balances out. I can understand that you are upset about it, but it happens. It happened to Italy, to Spain, to Germany, and now us. Should it have happened? Probably not. But it just does, you cant go blaiming one man for a single mis-made decision in the match. Sure it probably cost us the match, but what can you do about it?

    EDIT - Matzat, please. Stop.

  6. Jesus, guys, calm the fuck down, it was just a game! There'll be others, you can kick our asses next time, yadda yadda yadda. When Portugal lost to Greece I was pissed, yet accepted the defeat and moved on. This trolling is getting out of hand, really  :ohwell:

I knew this was going to happen, Johnny. This is why the rest of the world hates us English fans.

  7. Did you miss the part where WE WON THE GAME IN THE FINAL MINUTES, ONLY TO HAVE THE GOAL WRONGFULLY DISALLOWED?

Yes, I mentioned it in my post. But cmon, I knew this would happen, there would be some "contravesial" decision that we would all bitch about. From what the ref saw, he saw a foul, after close inspection from numerous camera angles we saw it wasnt. The ref doesnt have close inspection from numerous camera angles, he just has to call what he sees. We werent robbed. Sure, we were unlucky. But they were unlucky not to score another 20 goals against us.

  8. We cant blame the loss on that fucking disallowed goal. Portugal were all over us aand you know it. And Postiga; You never score for Tottenham but you take the fucking greatest penalty ever and score the equaliser.

    David James; Elope.

And I knew this would happen, as soon as we lose we fucking get all defensive. Face it, we weren';t robbed, we were fucking lucky to get to the penalty shoot out. Very Fucking lucky.

  9. Wow. There are your winners right there, I seriously dont think they will be beaten now. And they arent the cinderella fairy tale team. They are a fucking quality team who are so so underrated. Baros is playing his fucking ass off, Poborsky is doing as good as I thought he would. Czech vs France final.

That Germany goal was fucking class though, as was the free kick.

  10. Here are a few facts:

    We wont win the tournament.

France were the better team yesterday.

    Paul Robinson wasnt fucking playing.

    James Beattie wasnt fucking playing.

Every non-English fan hates England. (This, I dont quite understand.)

  11. Super Mario RPG 9.5/10 - Amazing RPG, in the top three SNES RPGs, and probably in the top ten of all time.

Shadow Hearts - 8/10 - Unique RPG for the PS2, good gameplay, great storyline, but lack of any impressive graphics lets its down a little. But still a must buy for any RPG fan.

Hogs of War - 8/10 - A 3D re-take on Worms, while dated, still retains awesome multiplayer fun and great single player longivity(?).

Wizardry 8 - 7/10 - Good First Person RPG, many twists and a good storyline, but is far too linear when measured up to games like Morrowind.

Grandia 2 - 9/10 - Very underrated PS2 game, awesome story, with a healthy amount of twists, great battle animation, character development is up with that of FF6. Only downpoint is how easy it is and how linear it is. But none the less a very very good game.

AAAND TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL!

Golden Axe Warrior - 9/10 - Sega's answer to Zelda, and is an amazing game, even to this day, in my mind this beat Zelda for the Nes, due to the vastness of gameplay (for its time) this had, many won't appreciate how great this game is, but when comparing to all action games for the 8/16 bit consoles, this comes out as one of the best. Great gameplay. Great Graphics (again, for its time). Great replay value. and so many things to find. a great game.
