  1. Put everything into CHA and sing your way to victory.

Okay using that suggestion with a 15 point buy gives me this.

    Str: 8

    Dex: 12

    Con: 12

    Int: 10

    Wis: 10

    Cha: 19

I used 13 points to give me a 17 in CHA, so that final two points went to dexterity.... I am honestly considering this since I don't plan on much melee combat with this character.

Also singing is boring.... Totally throwing ranks into Oratory and rapping instead.

  2. Hey anyone familiar to Pathfinder, I'm building a gnome bard for use in the Skulls & Shackles Adventure Path and I need a 15 point buy. I'm open to suggestions on buys. Also I picked Gnome because of it's +2 bonus in Charisma and Constitution, cuz bards need that charisma and I know Skulls & Shackles likes it's fortitude saves so a healthy Con score is nice. So yeah any 15 point buys people want to suggest?

  3. The plus of that is that if you take scribe scroll, you can use it with spells of your allies. Then you can cast them if they are on your list. If they aren't, use magic device will work and is a charisma based skill!

Your allies will appreciate craft wondorous item, it is a huge boost to upgrades

I didnt know I could use other party members spells, thats cool. Unfortunately I wont be crafting items, the wizard will be doing that for me.

  4. So I'm getting ready to play a Bard in a home game and I was thinking about picking up an item creation feat to take advantage of any extra spells I don't cast during the day. I was thinking scrolls, but i'm not sure about it.

  5. What the Wizards need to do is get poison like Nick Young, Blatche off their team. They need to surround Wall with high-character guys ASAP. Nobody likes losing, but if you're gonna suck, might as well suck with people who will bring the right culture.

Unfortunately moving either will likely prove difficult.

  6. This right here is what you call general managin'.

It's kind of a 'duh' story, yeah, but wondering where any one of these guys could wind up is good enough water cooler/forum talk.

First of all, unless it's a killer deal, any of the guys being dealt are going to the West. Especially Garnett, who will likely see this as Boston raping his family and kicking his dog, no matter what they do. Hell, even this article being posted will lead to him strangling hookers out of frustration. He's off-center like that.

Dalls could be interesting for Pierce or Allen, as Odom just isn't working. Pheonix could grab any of them to spark their offense (though that team's lean enough as it is, doubt they'd have the fodder to entice a swap.)

It'd be really hard to move Pierce since he has two years left on his deal, and because of what he means to Boston... I just don't see how Boston trades Pierce away and the fans being okay with it unless they get something awesome in return. I really think the C's best move is to just hold onto KG and Allen because more than likely they won't get anything worth of value in return and I think it'd be better to be a mediocre team this year and have 30 mil come off the cap at the end of this season.

Changing subjects; who are you guys voting for in the all-star game?

  7. On 360? :o

    Yuss.

I will say 'We should play together!'

But, we rarely ever play anything :( (Except for Words with Friends.....fuck I suck at that)

Ellis, Fitzy, Eddie....we getting this game?

Ellis plays with Dragsy and myself, and stop trying to steal Benji. He will be our glorious fourth NCA member.

All three of you, move to North America

Or find other people who live in North America and plan on getting Borderlands 2. When I pick up Gears of War 3 I will be reserving Borderlands 2.

  8. Hickson is more talented than Casspi, but Casspi is a better fit on the Kings than Hickson is.

Garcia is probably the better defender of the two, but Casspi has potential... he's not going to be a star or anything but he definitely has the potential to be a Peja Stojakovic type... in fact if you compare Casspi's first two seasons to Peja's they're quite similar. Whereas Garcia has hit his ceiling and isn't going to get any better.

For Hickson I really question his ability to bring it all season long some nights he plays like a star and others he kind of drifts into mediocrity. If he pulls through and turns into a really good player it could be a good move for the Kings... but I think they gave up too much. Maybe Casspi and a 2nd rounder.

  9. Cleveland traded J.J. Hickson to Sacramento for Omri Casspi and a future 1st round pick. I like this trade for Cleveland since I don't think Hickson was ever going to be a big star in the league... granted he's probably going to be a good player but not who Cleveland thought he would be. This clears room for Jamison, Thompson and Samuels to play and also gives Cleveland a good option at the wing. Not to mention they get a future 1st round pick from a team who will likely still be in the lottery.

I think the Kings lose on this deal... who starts at the wing now? Fransisco Garcia? And now they have a jam of young frontcourt players in Cousins, Thompson, Hickson and Whitedside. They also lose a possible lottery pick.
