  1. Unless you count hybrid poison pokemon okay like Tentacruel or Vileplume.
  2. So that would limit my team to Arbok, Nidoqueen/king, Weezing, Muk, Golbat… and that's about it for Gen. 1
  3. Poison and fighting… Sabrina will be fun.
  4. In that case I will play yellow… sorry Pikachu you're getting put in the box.
  5. Okay I got bored I'm gonna start again but I need rules kind of like what stokerino has only different so I don't lose interest.
  6. Well that's a load of bs if it's true.
  7. Battled Misty, Oddish took out Staryu by poisoning him and absorbing his lifebto death. Next was Starmie taken out by Pikachu using thunderwave to paralyze followed by thundershock to finish it off. None of my Pokemon can learn Bubblebeam so I'll keep it for later. Now in Vermillion City I trade my Spearow for a Farfetch'd (I don't bother giving him a nickname since he won't be in my party. On the S.S. Anne I found TM 44 which taught rest to my Charmeleon. Beat my rival down again. Took out his Pidgeotto by using Graveler to throw rocks at it. Beat his Rattata with Charmeleons Ember. Beat his Kadabra with my Kadabra and his seismic toss ability. Finally beat down his Wartortle with Pikachus thundershock. Obtained the Cut HM from the captain and taught it to Farfetch'd; no reason to bog down my battle team with useless HM's. Traded Graveler and Kadabra to evolve them into Golem and Alakazam. Then went to the gym and dispatched of Surge easily. His Voltorb went down thanks to Butterfrees Supersonic and Confusion attacks. Voltorb took itself out. His Pikachu fell victim to Gloom's acid. I purposely withheld Oddish from evolving so it could learn acid earlier. Finally Raichu fell victim to Golem who dug his way to victory. Earned TM 24 Thunderbolt and taught it to Pikachu. Current Roster: Burnatrix - Lv. 27 Charmeleon Dasdude - Lv. 27 Golem Goddish - Lv. 26 Gloom Houdini - Lv. 26 Alakazam Butters - Lv. 25 Butterfree Joltsax - Lv. 26 Pikachu
  8. I haven't updated mine yet. I got past Lt. Surge and I haven't updated since right before gym battle with Misty.
  9. The only teams I struggle with consistently in the big 10 (11) is Ohio State, Penn State and Iowa. Meanwhile Indiana is a bottom feeder in the MAC.
  10. I consider that still following the rules since you don't use him in battle.
  11. Just took the Ohio Bobcats from the MAC to the Big Ten replacing the Indiana Hoosiers and sending them to the MAC lolz.
  12. If I remember correctly they had dueling chants in '10 as well.
  13. I liked the NES marios better, and I promised myself to try and only vote one game of a series.
  14. Well for me it's all about priority. My Charmander and Geodude are likely to be on the team fir awhile so they get leveled up faster. Oddish and Kadabra were just caught so they haven't caught up yet in leveling.
  15. Made it into Cerulean City, decided to explore the sights first. Ended up finding my rival again. His lv. 18 Pidgey fell to my lv. 15 Joltsax in a single thundershock. Next he sent out Abra, who just tried to teleport away. It didn't work Joltsax shocked him till he fainted. Next was a Rattata, I used thunder wave to paralyze it and then switched to Dasdude who only needed two mega punches to win. Next came his Squirtle, I sent out Marshmallow who put Squirtle to sleep after Squirtle got in a Water Gun. Then I switched to Butterfree who used Confusion to finish him off. Next I found and caught an Oddish who I named Goddish and caught an Abra (thanks to Marshmallow) and named him Houdini. I replaced Hellpeck and Marshmallow with Goddish and Houdini. After some more searching I found TM 19 which taught Seismic Toss to Houdini, so he could actually battle. Found some weird guy named Bill who gave me a S.S. Ticket, cool I guess. Headed back into town where I found Team Rocket causing trouble. Beat them into submission and I got TM 28 which contained Dig. Decided to give it to Dasdude. Almost ready to take on Misty Current Roster: Burnatrix - Level 21 Charmeleon Butters - Level 18 Butterfree Joltsax - Level 18 Pikachu Dasdude - Level 19 Geodude Goddish - Level 16 Oddish Houdini - Level 16 Kadabra
  16. Made it to the end of Mt. Moon, caught a Jigglypuff and named it Marshmallow, also declined to buy a Magikarp because I don't buy stuff off the black market. Also managed to catch a Geodude and named him Dasdude. Found two tm's; one taught mega punch to Dasdude, the other taught water gun to Marshmallow. Also found this really old fossil…don't remember what it was called though. Getting ready to march into Cerulean City. Current roster: Burnatrix - Lv. 17 Charmeleon Butters - Lv. 15 Butterfree Dasdude - Lv. 14 Geodude Joltsax - Lv. 14 Pikachu Hellpeck - Lv. 12 Spearow Marshmallow - Lv. 9 Jigglypuff
  17. 1. Metal Gear Solid - Playstation: At this stage in my gaming life I was used to confronting your enemies head on and taking them all out in order to win. But MGS was the first time I played a game where doing that would result in my death lots and lots of times. It was just such a fresh aspect to me; being sneaky and clever to outwit your enemies was just so spanking amazing and later changed how I played other games. It's no surprise that in FPS games I play best in game types like CTF which encourage sneakiness. 2. Super Mario Bros. 3 - Nintendo: One of these games was definitely getting in and 3 was simply the best in my opinion. Wasted many hours playing this game. Actually, no they weren't wasted, they were totally worth it. 3. BioShock - Xbox 360: I never ever played this game in the dark. There were several times I nearly shit myself and yeah… but like MGS it had a great story and it felt more like I was part of a movie rather than a video game. 4. Final Fantasy 7 - Playstation: Sephiroth made this game for me…and Aeris. I still remember how upset I was when she died. Not because I cared for her so much as a character (okay I teared up a little) but because of how awesome an asset she was in battle. FF7 remains my face in the series and still play it from time to time. 5. Shining Force II - Sega Genesis: My first RPG game. I liked the first one as well, but this one has always been my favorite. 6. Goldeneye 007 - Nintendo 64: The multiplayer is what gets this game on my list. This game was a huge staple to a ton of weekends between me and my friends in past years. 7. Pokemon Red/Blue - Gameboy: Simply addictive and captured way too many hours of my life. A real simple game that allowed me to get through all if the car travel whenever the family went on vacation. 8. DOOM - Sega 32X: BFG nuff said 9. Mortal Kombat - Sega Genesis: My first fighting game at the tender age of 5. My father grounded my older bros for introducing me to this game and DOOM. I still thank them to this day. 10. Borderlands - Xbox360: There were several games that could go here but I went with Borderlands due to the fact I have 3 close friends and when we play this game co-op it's such an amazing experience. Killing skags hasn't lost it's fun yet.
  18. Beat Brock decided to start off with Spearow just to wittle away maybe 1/15 of geodudes health before I went to Butterfree. Spearow did better than I expected, I started with Leer to lower Geo's defense. Geodudes tackle missed, my peck attack got a crit. And yeah! Eventually Spearow fainted but managed to chip somewhere between 1/4 and 1/5 of Geodudes health. Then Butterfree came in and confusioned Geodude to exhaustion. Next came Onix, luckily Butterfrees confusion attack confused Onix on the first try. Between Onux hitting himself, using Bide a lot and getting nailed with confusion blasts the battle was easy. Got a Boulder Badge and TM 34 which contains Bide. Doubt I'll use it. I think the only pokemon I have that could do anything with it would be Charmander
  19. Just finished up through viridian. Planning on taking on Brock here soon. Here's my current roster: Burnatrix - level 13 Charmander Joltsax - level 10 Pikachu Butters - level 12 Butterfree Hellpeck - level 9 Spearow The plan is for Butters' confusion attack to lay waste to Geodude and Onix. But yeah I'm at a real disadvantage if Butters faints in the battle.
  20. Yea it's something I'll sit down and actually think about instead of just going off the top of my head though.
  21. I can't list my top 10 because I've played so many different consoles and games it's way too hard... I've played atari, sega genesis, cd, Saturn and dreamcast, nintendo (regular and super) the 64, wii. All playstations and xboxes so yeah maybe top 10 for each console but not of all time. Too difficult.
  22. Nicknamed my Charmander; it's new name is Burnatrix, (I believe Sousa was the first to call me this) so um yeah. My rival (who I named admwest) of course chose Squirtle. The dude tried to tail whip his way to victory, but I was like um burnatrix you has claws so scratch him to death. Burnatrix won easily and now I gotta go to viridian to start my adventure or something.
