  1. I think a mafia resource thread would really serve better. Something that has a glossary as I think it's terminology that screws most people up at the start.

Of course, I could be WIFOM on that.

You've already told me everything! I know where the poison is!

Someone should just do a Wallace Shawn Mafia, where EVERYTHING is based on circular logic.

I call dibs on Cliff Huxtable's Neighbor, Wallace Shawn-Aligned Man With a Toupee from "The Cosby Show".

Shotty Canadian Prime Minster Clark MacDonald, Wallace Shawn-Aligned Man Who Starred In A Michael Moore Film That Was Actually Intentionally Funny

  2. Yes, that's pretty much it. If nobody's interested, then fuck it, but if there are people who are, then it would be good for them. It's not an insult to say that someone is inexperienced at mafia. If people want to come in and play in a relaxed environment with players that aren't going to ridicule them, then we might as well give them the option. Far better than have potentially good games distracted because people are learning on the fly.

I've got to agree. I learned by trial by fire (at GDS though), and got modkilled my first game around. I honed my skills there, and came here. Between the boards there and here, and various other games.

I've racked up playing at least 30 games.

  3. I think that would defeat the point. The experienced players would tell them what to do and they wouldn't figure anything out for themselves. I'd much rather they do stupid things game after game and eventually figure it out than turn into useless, quiet-as-possible bandwagoners.

So it'd be like herding the differently-abled and watch them run amok?

    I like that idea.

  4. 1. Social Distortion - Story Of My Life.

I only listened to this one once, since I'm not a huge Social Distortion fan outside of the song Angel's Wings. It's decent I suppose.

    2. Feist - Inside And Out.

I'm a huge Feist fan, but I didn't even know I had this song. It has the added quality of being a Bee Gees Cover, so. That's rad.

    3. The Exies - Once In A Lifetime.

I love The Exies. I love the song Once In A Lifetime. The combination of the two I must adore right? Right. It's actually high quality if you ask me. It isn't a traditional cover where it sounds the same as the original, it gives it a new sound.

    4. Envy On The Coast - Green Eyes Don't Lie.

I'm not a big fan, but this song was the first one I heard, and it just seems to be completely better than any other song by them.

    5. Kimya Dawson - Tire Swing.

    Fuckin' Juno. Next.

    6. Turisas - Rasputin.

Finnish Metal? Check. Cover of a Disco Song? Check. Song about Rasputin and being an amazing lover? Check.

    7. Ben Folds - Brick.

One of my favorite songs, regardless of the subject matter.

    8. Rick Astley - Ain't Too Proud To Beg.

Say what you will about the RickRoll, but he wasn't bad.

    9. Andrew W.K - Ready To Die.

Seeing him live, and singing this song with 60+ people on stage made it one of my favorites. Never have I seen so many people sing one song together.

    10. No Use For A Name - This Is A Rebel Song

Covers seem to be reoccurring in my music tastes. It's a good cover. Not much else to say.
