  1. I feel I should do another 10 out of the masses I have.

    1). Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah

Where to begin with this song... first off. It's one of the greatest cover versions of any song ever, and Buckley makes it his own, blowing away the barely sung version of Leonard Cohen. Secondly, Buckley sounds so pained when he was singing this, driving forward the emotion that the John Cale version totally missed out. All in all, an amazing song.

    2). ohGr - Water

A song I picked up during the last month, I'm not too big into Industrial at all, but this song is memorable to me at least.

3). The Aquabats - Pizza Day

Finally some of my ska is played, I'm a total Aquabats fan, and I'm surprised why they hadn't come up sooner. Pizza Day is one of their better songs, but it's no Lovers of Loving Love.

4). Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight

I've got no witty comment, so I'll say it's a high quality song.

5). They Might Be Giants - Kiss Me, Son Of God

Not one of their better known songs, but it's catchy like fuck. Too short though, not even 2 minutes.

6). The Kinks - Father Christmas

It's one of the best Christmas songs I've heard in my life. Top 3 easily. Plus, it spreads a message everybody agrees with. Fuck Presents, just give Money.

7). Apocalypse Hoboken - Sweet Transvestite

I've never heard of the band before, but yes. That is a Rocky Horror Picture Show cover. They did it justice at least.

    8). Weezer - El Scorcho

Best Weezer song there is. And it references New Jack.

9). Rocky Horror Picture Show - Science Fiction Double Feature

Yes, another RHPS song, this one the original. I'm not a big fan of this song though.

10). Pansy Division - I Can Make You a Man

3 RHPS songs in 10 songs, and 2 in a row? That's amazingly unlikely.

    This cover is terrible though.

  2. I have 6000 Songs. Let's see what the cat dragged in.

    1.) Polaris - Hey Sandy

This song brings back memories, it's a song everyone should know, even if you didn't know the title of it, considering it's the theme song from Pete and Pete. Upon closer listening, it's a guy wanting to be shot. Not the best theme for a Kid's Show?

    2.) Third Eye Blind - Semi-Charmed Life

Yet another song from the 90's, another song I remember vividly from my childhood. And once again, the song is more then it originally sounds, involving Crystal Meth addiction in it. Love the song regardless.

    3.) Prozzak - It's Not Me It's You

In all honesty, I didn't even know I had this song. It's set to the beat of the song from the Nutcracker, Sugar Plum Fairy and whatnot? It's obviously about the singer being broken up with. Really poppish, not bad, but nothing memorable.

    4). Sufjan Stevens - Abraham

I love Sufjan Stevens, but I just couldn't get into this song, too slowpaced.

    5). Meredith Brooks - Bitch

    Generic 90's Feminist Song #51.

    Next.

6.) Sly And The Family Stone - Everyday People

If you don't like this song, you have no taste in music. And it introduced the phrase "Different Strokes for Different Folks" to me.

7). Tom Petty - Don't Do Me Like That

I'm not a big Tom Petty fan, but I enjoy this song quite a bit. No real comment on it.

8). Queens Of The Stone Age - Little Sister

Greatest use of Cowbell this side of Blue Oyster Cult, and it gets it's job done. It's a rock song that is memorable.

    9). Eiffel 65 - Blue

Yet another 90's song. No comment as well, besides the fact that I'm ashamed that I have it.

10). Norman Greenbaum - Spirit In The Sky

Proof that even Jews can love Jesus, and still make a decent song.

  3. Guns And Roses or Ugly Kid Joe (The cover is online and the same song is labeled from both, so I don't know which is which) - The Cat's In The Cradle
