    TV Rating: 5.80

Jim Ross and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler welcome you to Monday Night RAW, live from Salt Lake City, Utah.

Eric Bischoff appears on the titantron. He says, “Now, I hope that all of you have enjoyed the King of the Ring quarter finals as much as I have over the past few weeks and, tonight, we have the final quarter final, which will be contested by Booker T and Christian.” 84%

1st Match: King of the Ring Quarter Final: Booker T vs Christian. The final KOTR quarterfinal was hotly contested between these two superstars, who were desperate to advance in the tournament. Each man suffered heavy punishment from their opponent (although most of Christian’s offence was illegal). The end came when Kane ran down and, while Christian distracted the referee, Kane hit Booker with a chokeslam. However, when the referee turned around and saw Kane, he spent a lot of time getting him out of the ring, which allowed the Undertaker to come out of the crowd and hit Christian with the Tombstone Piledriver, allowing Booker to crawl over and pin Christian, allowing Booker to advance to the KOTR semi-finals, where he would meet Ric Flair. 74%

Batista is walking backstage, when Triple H runs up behind him and blasts him across the back with a chair. However, Batista simply turns around to stare at the Game, seemingly not feeling the pain, before hitting HHH with a right hand and then tossing him into a nearby stack of TV equipment. Batista then leaves a Hunter sprawled across the floor, backstage. 79%

Ric Flair is in the ring, with a microphone, and he says that “Last week, I heard Chris Jericho’s little story about how he grew up idolising me, the Nature Boy Ric Flair. Now, most people found it lousy and pathetic, but I was touched, so tonight, I have talked to Mr Bischoff about giving you a chance at the title. Yes Chris, tonight, courtesy of the Great Ric Flair, you will get your title shot against…Shelton Benjamin, for the Intercontinental Title! And just to make things more interesting, I am going to be the guest commentator for your match, and my friend Tyson Tomko will be an enforcer, just to make sure that no foul play will go on during your match. Oh, and Good Luck, Chris.” Flair starts to laugh, and then he lets out a “WOOOOOOO!” before strutting back up the aisle. 89%

2nd Match: Frankie Kazarian vs Chavo Guerrero. Mick Foley requested this match for his young prodigy, and Frankie didn’t disappoint. He and Chavo put on a brilliant spectacle of high-flying and technical wrestling, before Kazarian won the contest with the Wave of the Future. 73%

Shelton Benjamin and Chris Jericho are in the ring, about to start their IC title match, when Evolution’s music hits, and Ric Flair and Tyson Tomko start to come down to the ring. However, before they reach the end of the ramp, Eric Bischoff interrupts, and says “Hold on, Ric, hold on. I remember agreeing to a Shelton vs Jericho match for the Intercontinental Championship, but I don’t recall agreeing to having Tomko as the enforcer. I’m not going to stop you from commentating on the match, but Tomko, I’m banning you from ringside, so say bye-bye to Uncle Ric, and then get the hell out of here, before I fire you!” As Bischoff turns and leaves, Flair throws a tantrum, and he throws his jacket onto the floor in his fury. So Tomko reluctantly leaves the arena, while Jericho wears a big smile on his face, as he watches Flair stomp his way to join JR and The King at ringside. 78%

3rd Match: Intercontinental Title Match: Shelton Benjamin vs Chris Jericho. This match was a very entertaining match up, with both men showcasing their outstanding talents, which combined to create a great spectacle. The match ended when Shelton whipped Jericho into the referee (accidentally) and went for a Superkick, but Jericho ducked it, and locked in the Walls of Jericho. This brought Flair into the ring with a chair, but Jericho broke the hold and ducked the Nature Boy’s first shot. Flair turned around and went for another shot, but Jericho ducked again, and Flair hit Benjamin, Y2J then dropkicked the chair back into Flair’s face, sending the Nature Boy out of the ring. Jericho then hit the Lionsault on Benjamin to win the match to a very slow 3 count. After the match, Jericho taunted Flair, who was making his way back up the aisle. 72%

The Undertaker is walking backstage when Christian appears, and he taunts Taker. Taker then follows a fleeing Christian into the parking lot. However, when he gets there. Taker can’t find Christian. Suddenly, Taker hears a car engine start, and a 4x4 appears out of the darkness and runs over the Undertaker. The vehicle stops, and Christian jumps out, and he then walks over and taunts the Phenom some more, before EMTs and officials push Christian out of the way, so that they can tend to the Undertaker. 88%

Main Event: Batista vs Triple H vs Randy Orton vs Kane. This was a non-title, fatal four way match, which thrilled fans in the arena and watching on TV. Batista tended to dominate more than any other competitor in the match, and The Animal eventually won the match when he hit a spinebuster on Orton, and then one on Kane, and then the World Heavyweight Champion hit the ‘Tista Bomb on Triple H to pick up an impressive victory. 73%

After the match, as Orton and Kane stumbled to the back, Batista continued to beat down the Game, until the rest of Evolution came to the Game’s rescue, and RAW ended with Batista in the ring, who was staring at Evolution help Triple H to the back.

    Overall Rating: 81%

    TV Rating: 5.62

Jim Ross and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler welcome you to Monday Night RAW, live from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Batista’s music hits, and a determined looking champion makes his way to the ring, cradling the World Heavyweight title belt over his shoulder. Upon reaching the squared circle, Batista takes a microphone from Lillian Garcia. He looks at the crowd, who are chanting his name, before putting the microphone to his mouth. He starts off by saying that he is sick of being beaten up, every single week by the whole of Evolution. He says that he feels embarrassed at allowing Triple H and his cronies to undermine him week in, week out. Batista then says that he feels that he has disgraced his name by getting beaten up by Evolution and, more importantly, he feels that he has let the fans down too.

He stops for a second, as Batista chants ring out around the arena. He then raises the microphone again, and says that, tonight, a new trend will be set. Tonight, Batista will start to fight back. Batista says that, by the time that King of the Ring comes around, and Batista is preparing to face Triple H in the main event for the World Heavyweight title, Batista will have the upper hand on his rival, both physically and mentally. Batista says that a revolution against Evolution is starting to take place…and he intends to start it tonight.

Then, Triple H’s music hits, and Batista turns to face the stage, awaiting the arrival of the Game. However, Triple H emerged from out of the crowd, behind Batista. He rolled into the ring, and turned Batista around. HHH then kicked Batista below the belt and hit the pedigree. Triple H was about to turn around to play to the crowd, when Batista got straight back up from the Game’s finisher. Batista had a wry smile on his face, while Triple H was openly shocked. He fell out of the ring, and quickly stumbled back up the ramp, while Batista played to the crowd, who were going wild. 86%

Shelton Benjamin’s music hits, and the Intercontinental champion confidently made his way to the ring for his King of the Ring Quarter final, against an unknown opponent. When Benjamin had finished playing to the crowd, Eric Bischoff appeared on the titantron. He congratulated Shelton on his qualification into the KOTR tournament, and wished him look in tonight’s match, before introducing his opponent with a sly smile on his face - “Shelton, tonight, you will face…The Undertaker!” 79%

1st Match: King of the Ring Quarter Final: Shelton Benjamin vs The Undertaker. Although initially shocked, Shelton managed to surprise everyone and actually dominate Taker for some parts of the contest, but Undertaker still dominated the majority. Shelton’s brave fight seemed to be in vain when Taker had hit the Chokeslam on the IC champ, and was stalking Shelton, waiting for the Tombstone, when Christian and Tyson Tomko ran down the ramp and blasted the Undertaker with a steel chair, before hitting the Unprettier onto the chair. This didn’t lead to a disqualification, as Tomko distracted the referee, and Shelton crawled on top of Taker for the victory, and to qualify for the semi-finals of the RAW KOTR tournament, against Kane. After the match, Shelton and Taker teamed up to beat down Christian and Tomko. 75%

Chris Jericho is in the ring, preparing to do the highlight reel. He takes the microphone and says that, tonight, there will be no guest on the highlight reel…because Jericho is going to tell a story. Y2J says that, once, there was a young boy growing up in Canada, and all he wanted to do in his life was wrestle. He would watch wrestling at every chance he got, whether it be at a regional, live show, or a Japanese video, or on TV. And the boy loved it. The boy had a hero, who he idolised in every possible way…he would have given anything to be half as good as his idol. So, twenty years into the future, the boy achieved his dream, and he was very successful in the world of wrestling. Along the way, he met his childhood idol and…he was disappointed. Extremely disappointed. He had found out, that his idol might have been a great wrestler, but he was a total idiot in person, who didn’t respect anything that anyone else did…it was all about himself. Jericho then says that the boy was named Chris Jericho, the idol…was Ric Flair.

Jericho then says that Flair is an overconfident fool who is out of his depth in the modern day WWE. He then says that Flair might have been a 16 time world champion, but doesn’t that mean that he lost the title 16 times aswell? And what type of opposition did Flair face to win the vast majority of those 16 titles? Crap opposition. So, Jericho says that, sometime in the near future, Jericho is going to beat Flair, and show that he is worthy to be ranked alongside Flair as one of the all-time greats. 97%

Shelton Benjamin is sitting in his locker room, when Kane bursts in. Kane says that he is going to soften Shelton up before their KOTR semi-final in a few weeks time. He then grabs Shelton by the throat, but then Booker T runs in. He hits Kane from behind, and then hits the Book End, before kicking the Big Red Machine in the chest and then hitting the Scissors Kick. He taunts Kane, before being thanked by Shelton. Booker and Shelton then leave, leaving Kane writhing on the floor. 80%

Eric Bischoff appears on the titantron, and he tells the crowd that the next match is a KOTR quarter final with two surprise competitors. He announces the first one as Ric Flair, and then the second one as Rey Mysterio. 76%

2nd Match: King of the Ring Quarter Final: Ric Flair vs Rey Mysterio. These two superstars used their two contrasting styles to create a decent spectacle. Both men had their periods of dominance, and the end came when Flair rolled up Mysterio, using the tights, after hitting Rey with a low blow, allowing Flair to win, sending him into the semi-finals of the KOTR. After the match, Tomko came down to ringside and both Evolution members double-teamed Mysterio, until Jericho ran down, and hit Flair with the Running Enziguri before locking in the Walls of Jericho on Tomko, as Y2J sent a message to the Nature Boy. 81%

3rd Match: Booker T vs Randy Orton. This was a very good match, with both men displaying many aspects of their talents, which created a great spectacle. However, a sour end came when Kane ran down with a chair, which was meant for Booker. When Kane swung, however, Booker ducked, and Kane connected with Orton! The referee then woke up, told Kane to leave the ring, while Booker hit the Scissors Kick on Orton to win the match. Afterwards, Kane came back in with the chair, but Booker stopped the shot with a kick to the stomach, and then he hit the Scissors Kick on Kane, that sent the Big Red Machine face first onto the chair. 85%

Main Event: Batista and Frankie Kazarian vs Triple H and Christian. Kazarian was in this match by request of Mick Foley, and the youngster didn’t disappoint, adding another contrasting style (along with Christian) to the brawling of Batista and Triple H. A good match ended when Batista and HHH were the legal men, and Kazarian was down outside the ring, and both Evolution members were beating down the World Heavyweight Champion. Then, Batista hit HHH with a spinebuster, and then no-sold an Unprettier from Christian, before hitting Captain Charisma with the ‘Tista Bomb, and then giving the Game the same fate, to win the match. Afterwards, Batista was taunting Triple H, when the lights went out, and The Undertaker appeared in the ring. He grabbed Christian by the throat and hit the Chokeslam. HHH tried to help his fellow Evolution member, but Batista cut him off with a clothesline, which sent the Game outside of the ring, joining a battered Christian. 79%

So, RAW ended on the image of HHH and Christian down outside the ring, and Batista and Taker staring at them from inside the squared circle.

Jim Ross and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler welcome you to Monday Night RAW, live from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Mick Foley is sitting in Eric Bischoff’s office, replacing of pictures of the RAW general manager with pictures of Mankind, Dude Love and Cactus Jack. However, he quickly moves back to a chair when he hears a knock at the door. He swivels on the chair and puts his feet on the table, before shouting, “Come in.” The door opens, and a big, muscular black man walks in. Foley says “Ah, you must be the new guy…Bob Sapp? (The black man nods) Ah, yes, Eric mentioned you; he’s not actually here at the moment. Do you want to make your debut in the ring, tonight?”

Sapp straddles a chair in front of Bischoff’s/Foley’s desk and he says “I would like a match tonight, brotha, but I want to be entered into the King of the Ring tournament. Is their any spaces available, brotha?” Foley looks at a piece of paper on his desk, and then he says “OK, Bobby, you can debut against Tyson Tomko in the quarter finals of KOTR tonight.” Bob smiles, shakes his hand, and then makes his way to the door. Before he leaves, however, Sapp turns around and says “Oh, and Mick…please never call me Bobby again, my Grandparents used to call me that.” Foley replies “OK, Sappy, whatever you say.” Bob laughs, before leaving the room. 90%

1st Match: King of the Ring Quarter final: Bob Sapp vs Tyson Tomko. This was Bob Sapp’s debut match, and he didn’t fail to impress, as he displayed a variety of powerful moves that Tomko just couldn’t cope with. Batista is backstage, getting a drink from a vending machine, when Evolution jump him from behind. They throw Batista into the wall, before putting the boots to the champion. Then, Triple H tells the others to pick Batista up, and then all four members shove Batista head first into the vending machine, causing the front to break. Batista was busted open, but Evolution wasn’t finished yet. Triple H told Christian to get a chair, and he set Batista up for a pedigree. Christian returned with a steel chair, and slid it next to Triple H’s feet. Then, the Game hit the pedigree onto the chair, sending Batista head first into the steel. Evolution then left, satisfied with their destruction, while EMTs attended to the World Heavyweight champion. 82%

Chris Jericho is in the ring, and is introducing the Highlight Reel. Y2J introduces today’s guest, the Undertaker. The arena goes dark, and the Undertaker slowly makes his way to the ring. However, when the Dead Man reaches the steel steps, Christian runs out of the crowd, and shoves Taker of the steps, and he goes crashing into the barricade. Christian then grabs Taker by the head and he throws him into the steel steps. Christian then goes to pick up a chair, but Jericho slides out of the ring, and takes the chair from Christian, and swings at Captain Charisma. However, Christian avoids the shot, and he makes his back up the ramp, shouting abuse at Taker and Jericho, while Y2J goes and checks on Undertaker. 90%

2nd Match: King of the Ring Quarter Final: Kane vs The Hurricane. Kane made relatively short work of the Hurricane, hitting him early with many high-impact moves. The Big Red Machine hit a powerbomb quite early and then finished the match soon after with a Chokeslam, to progress to the semi-finals of the RAW KOTR competition. However, after the match, Booker T ran down and hit the Book End on Kane, before stalking the fallen monster, and eventually hitting the Scissors Kick on Kane. Eric Bischoff is backstage, in his office, and Eugene bursts in. He then asks Uncle Eric if he can have a match with Randy Orton this week, to get some revenge on the ‘bad man’ after he cheated to win in the KOTR quarter final last week. Bischoff thinks for a few seconds before giving Eugene his match, but in a tag team match - Eugene would pair with the Undertaker, and Orton would pair with Christian. 84%.

Booker T is walking to his car in the parking lot, ready to go home after a good days work. However, when he opens his car, a big, red hand shoots out from the door, and Kane emerges from the car, choking Booker by the throat. Kane then shouts at Booker for attacking him after his KOTR victory, before Chokeslamming him onto the top of a car. Kane then throws Booker into the side of a truck, creating a sickening thud, leaving Booker crumpled on the floor. 81%

3rd Match: The Undertaker and Eugene vs Randy Orton and Christian. This was a very entertaining match. Orton and Christian dominated Eugene for most of the contest, isolating him from his partner. Eventually, Eugene did get the tag, and Taker dominated both his opponents from this point right until the end, which came when Taker had the goozle on Orton, preparing for a Chokeslam, when Christian hit Taker with a lowblow, allowing Orton to hit the RKO to steal the win. Christian and Orton made their way to the back after the match, taunting the Undertaker and Eugene inside the ring, while the latter attended to his fallen partner. 83%

Triple H and Ric Flair are backstage with Maria Kanellis, doing an interview. They both talked trash about Batista, saying how they showed how poor a champion Batista was with their assault earlier, and how they would be surprised if Batista even turned up for the upcoming contest, as he knew, deep down, that he would just get beaten up, again, by a superior champion in Triple H. Flair then talked trash about Jericho, saying how he would never amount to anything, and saying that he was an overrated underachiever. They both talk some more, before leaving for their match. 91%

Main Event: Batista and Chris Jericho vs Triple H and Ric Flair. The match started as two-on-one, with Jericho being left on his own, as Batista didn’t show up for the start. Both men then beat down Jericho for a long period of the match, before Jericho and Triple H were down in the centre of the ring, after Y2J had summoned the strength to hit Triple H with a dropkick. Jericho started to slowly crawl to his corner, holding his arm out for a tag, forgetting that nobody was there. Then, a massive pop arose from the crowd, as a bloody Batista ran down to the ring, and received the tag from Jericho. Batista then hit a spinebuster on both opponents, before hitting the ‘Tista Bomb on both HHH and Flair (the legal man) to win the match. 85%

After the match, Batista and Jericho were in the ring, taunting the two Evolution members who were struggling to return to the back, and the show ended on the image of Batista and Jericho in the ring.

  4. I am going to post both the latest SmackDown (as Ravenjuice seems to have forgotten to post it) as well as the latest installment of RAW.

    WWE Smackdown!

1st Match: Poetic Accident + ? vs. JBL and the Bashams. The Cabinet made their way down to the ring first, with JBL quietly confident that this would be a cake walk for him. Then Snitsky and Heidenreich entered, and announced that they had a new friend, he joined them on Smackdown last week, and his name is...Abyss!

Abyss ran right past his partners, and went straight for JBL, who quickly exited the ring, and sent the Bashams in to fight him, however even the two of them struggled to control this debuting monster. Heidenreich and Snitsky were clearly impressed with their new friend, and followed JBL outside, and after hitting a double suplex on the outside, threw him back into the ring, and the match began in earnest.

Snitsky and Heidenreich tagged back and forth, working over the Bashams, until Danny managed to tag JBL in, who managed to nail Snitsky with a Clothesline from Hell, this brought Heidenreich in, who was attacked by the Bashams and the three took the fight outside. Abyss came in and broke up the pin on an unconcious Snitsky. JBL brawled with Abyss, and managed to get the upper hand, and he came off the ropes going for a clothesline, only for Abyss to duck and nail JBL on his way back with a Black Hole Slam! Abyss dragged Snitsky on top, and prevented the Bashams from getting back in as the ref counted the 3.

    69%

Teddy Long comes to the ring with a microphone in his hands. First off he announces that seeing as Poetic Accident didnt want to have one number contender by stopping the mtch last week, they would have 3! At Judgement Day it would be; Poetic Accident vs. Charlie Haas and Hardcore Holly vs. Jindrak and Reigns vs. The Bashams.

Secondly, he regrets to inform us that Paul London had been attacked a fortnight ago as he left the arena a month ago, and had suffered head injuries. He had spoke to London after the attack, and London had promised him that he'd be back in time for Judgement Day to defend his title, however he was attacked by what the police described to him as " a group of thugs dressed in black" and as a result, would not be able to make it to Judgement Day. As a result, the title was now vacant, and the winner of the upcoming cruserweight match would face a special mystery opponent at the ppv for the title.

    72%

2nd Match: Kidman vs. Akio vs. Shannon Moore vs. Funaki. With a shot at the now vacant cruserweight title at stake, all 4 competitors upped their game in a thrilling cruserweight war. Shannon Moore was the first to go, after being on the receiving end of a top rope DDT from Funaki, a stiff kick to the head from Akio, and Kidmans Shooting Star Press, its no surprise that Shannon stayed down for three.

Akio was next to go. He and Kidman teamed up on Funaki, but when he was setting Funaki up for a kick to the head, Kidman scored with a low blow, and rolled Akio up with his tights for a cheap victory.

Funaki was battered from Akio and Kidmans double teaming, and could barely stand. He didnt have to for long. Kidman hit a Hurricanrana, and followed it up with a Shooting Star Press for three, and a shot at the cruserweight title at Judgement Day.

    72%

The Big Show comes down to the ring after the match, and says its about time he sent a message to Raven regarding his fate at Judgement Day. He grabbed Kidman by the throat, when the lights dimmed. Show turned to face the screen, and this was all Kidman needed. He kicked Show between the legs, and rolled out of the ring. Raven entered through the curtain, gripping a 2x4 in his hand, and told Big Show that he would be demolished at Judgement Day. He had just gotten back from the Genreal Managers office, and he had, using gentle persuasion, made Teddy Long make the triple threat match no disqualifications.

    84%

3rd Match: Carlito Carribean Cool vs. Rob Van Dam. Carlito challenged RVD to this match after explaining that RVD seemed to think he was cool. But he is not. He may be a washed up, stoned, loser...but cool he is not. RVD rightfully took offence at this, and quickly responded to the challenge.

RVD bamboozled Carlito with his range of kicks and flips, but Carlito managed to slow the pace of the match down by crotching his opponent on the top rope, and following it up with a Superplex. Carlito worked his way over RVD, and when the referee wasnt looking, scored with a low blow, and looked to have a victory in the bag, when Orlando Jordan came down and laid Carlito out, giving him the match by DQ

4th Match: Eddie Guerrero vs. Chris Benoit. There were still hard feelings from the past few weeks main events on Smackdown, containing these two. However, Eddie and Benoit agreed they would fight, one on one, in order to settle the score. The two displayed a fierce intensity in this matchup, going back and forth, but instead of focusing on mat manouvres like the pair usually do in their matches, this was an all out brawl.Benoit got his knees up on a Frog Splash, and controlled the next few minutes of the match, when Benoit went up top for a diving headbutt, Guerrero pulled refereee Charles Robinson in the way, and he collided with Benoit. Benoit hit a suplex on Guerrero, and went up on top, and this time got the diving headbutt on Guerrero, only for Edge to come in with a chair and crack Benoit over the head. Guerrero rolled on top, and with a little help from Edge, Robinson came round, and counted the three.

    93%

5th Match: WWE Championship: John Cena vs. Kurt Angle. This match promised to be an exciting encounter, however it was not to be, Cena made his way to the ring, and Angle then made his, however when walking down the ramp, Angle was assaulted by Shawn Michaels, who used a chair to work the same area of leg that Angle had attacked on him the previous week. Just when it looked like Angle was doomed, RVD came out with a chair and a mike. He threw the chair at Michaels and hit the vandaminator. He then announced that he had just added himself to the match at Judgement Day, as Cena stood int he ring, bemused by the events in the aisle.

Eric Bischoff is in the ring with a microphone. He says “Tonight, I am going to explain the main King of the Ring tournament, after the success of the qualifiers last week. There will be either one or two of the quarter final matches in the next four weeks. As their are six quarter final matches, there will then be three semi finals in the three weeks before the King of the Ring PPV, which will have the final of the King of the Ring, which will be a triple threat match.” Eric then finishes by saying that “Tonight, we will see the first quarter final - Eugene vs Randy Orton.” 80%

1st Match: King of the Ring Quarter-Final: Eugene vs Randy Orton. Surprisingly, the first KOTR quarter final was a technically sound contest, with Eugene showing all of his talent, and this surprised Orton, who took a while to adjust to a fired up Eugene. Eugene never backed down from the former World Heavyweight Champion, and he kept getting straight back up when Orton hit him with any moves. The end came when Eugene had Orton in the position for a Rock Bottom, when Orton kicked Eugene below the belt, oblivious to the referee, and he then hit the RKO to scrape the victory, and to progress to the semi finals of the RAW King of the Ring. He was about to hit Venis with the weapon, when Jericho ran down and pushed the chair back into the big man's face with the running Enziguri. Venis then covered Tomko for the win, while Jericho chased Flair out of the arena and into the back, where Flair eventually escaped via a limousine. 63%

3rd Match: The Undertaker vs Kane. This was a fantastic match, which was as entertaining (if not more) as their past encounters. Each man had their periods of dominance, and each man kicked out of a chokeslam from their opponent. The end came when both Booker T and Christian entered the ring, and Christian attacked the Undertaker, while Booker attacked Kane, meaning that the referee had no choice but to declare the match a no contest due to interference, and therefore a draw. 78%

Christian hammered Taker with rights and lefts, before retrieving a chair from ringside and laying out the Undertaker with it, making ther Dead Man bleed, and Christian continued to hammer away, before officials had to pull him away from a battered Undertaker. 84%

Meanwhile, Kane had eventually overpowered Booker T, and had hit him with a powerbomb, before chokeslamming Booker through the Spanish Announcer's table, leaving Booker out cold, whiel Kane strolled to the back, obviously pleased with his destruction of Booker T. 84%

Triple H is backstage with Maria Kanellis, doing an interview. After Maria asks him about his intentions regarding Batista, Triple H laughs, and says that she asks some very dumb questions with very obvious answers. The Game then tells Batista that every single minute, that HHH isn't the World Heavyweight Champion, he will make Batista's life hell, and will continue to until the World title is firmly back where it belongs...wrapped around Triple H's waist. 87%

Main Event: Batista vs Ric Flair. A thoroughly entertaining spectacle, this match recieved many massive pops from the crowd, as both men were extremely over with the live audience. Batista displayed his sheer power throughout the contest, and the Nature Boy had to use all of his many years ring experience to avoid being dominated by the Animal. Batista managed not to submit to the figure four leglock, and the end came when the World Heavyweight Champion hit Flair with a spinebuster and then the 'Tista Bomb to win the match. 73%

In the aftermath of the main event, while Batista was celebrating his victory, Triple H appeared out of the crowd and he stole the title belt from the timekeeper and hammered Batista with it, and then posing above the champ's body with the title. This is when RAW ended.

Eric Bischoff is in the ring. He takes a microphone and says that he accepts the SmackDown General Manager, Theodore Long's, invitation to hold a King of the Ring tournament for the PPV in June. Bischoff then says that the qualifying matches for RAW's tournament will start tonight, with four qualifying matches for the competition. 70%

1st Match: King of the Ring Qualifier: Eugene Dinsmore vs Steven Richards vs Val Venis. This was a decent opener for RAW, as all three men took full advantage of, what was a somewhat rare appearance on Prime Time TV (especially for Richards and Venis.) The contest ended when Richards hit the Superkick on Venis, only to recieve a Rock Bottom from Eugene to pick up the victory, and the first name to go into the King of the Ring tournament. 73%

Christian is in the ring and, once again, he calls out the Undertaker. To the surprise of Christian, the arena lights dim, and the Dead Man makes his way to the ring. Christian is visibly petrified, and he just stands there in total fear. The Undertaker gets into the ring, and he stares down a terrified Christian. Christian finally comes back to reality, and he throws a punch at the Undertaker, which Taker blocks, and he knocks Captain Charisma down with one punch. Christian tries to scramble away, but Taker grabs him, and he delivers a Tombstone Piledriver to Christian, before leaving the ring and walking up the aisle, while Christian lay knocked out in the ring, being attended to by EMTs. 78%

2nd Match: King of the Ring Qualifier: Frankie Kazarian vs Tajiri vs Tyson Tomko. This was quite a good match, with Kazarian and Tajiri providing most of the better wrestling, but Tomko made his presence felt with some big moves. The end came when Tajiri had Kazarian pinned, and Ric Flair ran down and pulled the referee out of the ring at a count of 2 and a half. While the referee shouted at Flair, Tomko nailed Tajiri with a steel chair, allowing him to pick up the victory, while Flair stopped Kazarian from breaking the count. 73%

Mick Foley is backstage with Bischoff, and they argue over last week's main event. Half way through their argument, however, Batista enters and requests a match against Kane tonight. Bischoff is about to agree, when Booker T walks in, saying he wants a piece of Kane. Foley then says that, tonight, Batista will face Kane and Booker T in a triple threat match. Bischoff agrees, and both superstars leave the room, happy. 91%

3rd Match: King of the Ring Qualifier: William Regal vs The Hurricane vs Muhammed Hassan. This was a good match, with all three men showing their skills (although Hassan displayed most of his cheating skills.) Regal and the Hurricane did most of the wrestling, as Hassan spent most of the match running away from his opponents. The match ended when Hassan hit Regal with the ring bell, oblivious to the referee, but then Hassan got hit with the Eye of the Hurricane, allowing the Hurricane to qualify for the King of the Ring tournament. 78%

Batista comes down to the ring with his title belt, and he says “I am willing to settle a score tonight, against Kane, which will allow me to fully concentrate on my title defence, at King Of The Ring, against The Game, Triple H.” Batista stops as Batista chants echo around the arena, before continuing “I came to the WWE to make a name for myself, and I believe that I have, as I am currently the World Heavyweight Champion. (More Batista chants) However, I now want to be considered one of the GREATEST World Heavyweight champions of all time, and if I need to beat Triple H to achieve this goal, I will do so.” This is when Triple H's music hits, and The Game enters the arena. He reaches the ring, and he stares Batista down, before taking the microphone. He says “In my eyes, Batista...you will never be considered a great World Heavyweight champion. And all that matters in this business, Batista…is what I THINK!!!” And with this, Triple H snatches the belt from Batista's shoulder and levels the champion with it. Triple H then taunts Batista, before leaving the ring. 77%

The Undertaker is walking backstage, when Christian jumps him from behind. However, Taker is able to shake off Christian's attacks, and he eventually takes control of the fight, before throwing Christian into the wall, and then chokeslamming him through a table. Taker then leaves a decimated Christian being attended to by paramedics, while Taker walks off. 87%

Main Event: Batista vs Kane vs Booker T. This was a great main event, as all three men put on a great show with a series of powerful manouveres and spectacular spots. Each man had an obvious period of dominance, but these were small, as the match was a three way brawl from start to finish. It was surprisingly fast paced considering who was involved, and there was no rest bite for any competitor, as there was always one superstar to occupy their attentions. The match ended when Booker T hit Kane with the Book End, when Batista hit Booker with an awesome spinebuster, before hitting a staggering Kane with a 'Tista Bomb to win the match. 84%

After the match, Booker and Kane squared up in the ring, while Triple H appeared on the stage to stare down Batista, and RAW ended with two pairs of superstars, intensly staring at their opponent.

Jim Ross and Jerry 'The King' Lawler welcome you to Monday Night RAW, live from Houston, Texas.

'Have a Nice Day' sounds around the arena as Mick Foley walks down to the ring with a microphone, to a standing ovation from the crowd. Foley gets in the ring and plays to the crowd before saying “Tonight, the WWE will witness the birth of a superstar and, possibly, a future World Champion. I've had his eye on this 'kid' for a while, and I expects nothing but great things from this guy.” (Pause) “Ladies and gentleman, it is my honour, as a living Hardcore Legend (big pop), to welcome…Frankie Kazarian to Monday Night RAW.” Kazarian appears on the stage and he walks down to the ring. He enters the ring, to a fairly decent reception from the fans, and he shakes hands with Foley before taking the mic and saying “I am very grateful for the massive chance that Mick and the WWE have given me, and I intend to grab it with both hands.” He then hands the mic back to Foley before playing to the crowd a bit more.

However, before Kazarian leaves the arena, Muhammed Hassan appears on the stage, and he says into a microphone “Once again, all of you are cheering for another American wannabe, who you’ve never seen wrestle, and is very probably yet another ordinary, American wrestler.” He then says, “When superior wrestlers come along, like me, you all automatically boo, just because I am from a foreign country, which has a different culture to the greedy, capitalist culture of the USA. Once again, I will have to shut you ALL up, by beating yet another one of your people in the ring.” Hassan then drops the mic, and runs into the ring, where Kazarian is waiting for him. 78%

1st Match: Frankie Kazarian vs Muhammed Hassan. This was a decent match for Kazarian, on his debut. He showed some of the quality that attracted the attention of the WWE. However, the contest was undermined by Hassan's constant cheating. The end came when Hassan got a chair, and was about to hit Kazarian with it when Frankie reversed it, and he sent Hassan face first into the chair with a drop toe hold. Kazarian hit the Wave of the Future to pick up the 3 count. Kazarian then celebrated, while Hassan stumbled to the back. 61%

Eric Bischoff is in the ring. He says “Last night, I took the time to watch RAW from 2 weeks ago, when Triple H faced Booker T and Kane for the No.1 Contendership for Batista's World Heavyweight championship. Now, I accept that Triple H was adjudged to have pinned Booker, and that The Game then went on to beat Kane at Backlash to become the No.1 Contender. However…Triple did not beat Booker T fairly, as he hit him with a sledgehammer. So, tonight, I have decided to give Booker T another chance... tonight, Triple H will defend his No.1 Contendership against Booker T.” 76%

Christian comes to the ring, accompanied by a midget who is dressed like the Undertaker. Christian has a microphone, and he challenges Taker to come out and face him in the ring. However, when there is no answer, Christian taunts the Undertaker, saying that he is scared of Christian, because Christian is a much, much better wrestler. When Taker still does not appear, Christian throws a tantrum, and he hits the midget with the microphone, before hitting him with the Unprettier and storming out of the ring. 83%

2nd Match: Ric Flair and Tyson Tomko vs Regal and Eugene. This match was for Flair and Tomko's World Tag Team Titles. This was a match dominated by Tyson Tomko, using his sheer strength to dominate Eugene, while Flair used his vast experience to stop Eugene from tagging in William Regal. However, a surprising end came when Chris Jericho ran down to the ring and hit Flair with the running Enziguri, oblivious to the referee, and Y2J then put a battered Eugene over Flair and handed Regal and Eugene the win, aswell as costing Flair and Tomko the tag titles, after only holding them for a week and a bit. Jericho backs up the ramp, laughing at an incensed Flair in the ring. 77%

Eric Bischoff is in the ring again, wearing a sly smile on his face. He has a mic, and says “I was sitting in my office backstage just now, and I suddenly had a brain wave regarding tonight's main event, Booker T vs Triple H. I’ve decided to make sure that no foul play occurs in the match, so I have decided to add a special guest referee in the match. Tonight, the special guest referee for Booker T vs Triple H will be...the World Heavyweight Champion, Batista.” Bischoff then turns and leaves with a sly smile on his face, as the crowd goes wild. 76%

Christian is backstage with Lillian Garcia, doing an interview. Lillian asks Christian why he is obsessed with the Undertaker, and Captain Charisma says “I am determined to prove myself, not just to Triple H, but to all the non-peeps that say that I aren't a great wreslter.” He then lays into the Undertaker, saying how he is obviously scared of facing Christian, as he doesn't answer any of his challenges. Christian then promises that he will find, and destroy, the Undertaker, before turning and heading for the arena. 80%

3rd Match: Rey Mysterio vs Christian. This was a brilliant contest, with both competitors' wrestling styles working together nicely to produce a thrilling match. However, a sour end came when Mysterio went off the top rope for a hurracanrana, but Christian hit Mysterio with a pair of brass knuckles, without the referee seeing! So Christian picked up a cheap win. However, when Christian stumbled up to the stage, the Undertaker appeared, and he chokeslammed Captain Charisma off the stage into a pile of TV equipment! 84%

Chris Jericho is walking backastage when Ric Flair hits him with a chair from behind, and then proceeds to continue beating Y2J with the steel chair, before taunting him and slapping him, before turning and leaving, while Jericho attracted the attention of EMTs and Lita. 100%

Triple H is backstage, doing an interview with the Coach. Coach asks The Game for his thought’s regarding tonight’s match, and Triple H says “Eric Bischoff is a fool. Eric Bischoff is an idiot. He admitted in front of the whole world that he saw me pin Booker T 1…2…3 in this ring 2 weeks ago. Eric Bischoff is wrong to have this match, but I won two weeks ago, and I’ll win tonight. Booker T has never won anything meaningful in his life. Anything he won, I made worthless by single-handedly putting WCW out of business, making his career totally, and utterly insignificant.” Trips then laughs, before shoving the Coach and storming off. 80%

Main Event: Triple H vs Booker T with Batista as the Special Guest Referee. This match is for the No.1 Contendership for Batista's World Heavyweight title. This was a fantastic match, as both men showed why they are considered to be worthy of a title challenge. Batista didn't do much in the way of confronting Triple H, and the match was a clean affair...until the end. Both men were down in the ring after a double clothesline, when Kane ran down to the ring. He tried to get to Booker T, but Batista got in the way, and clotheslined the Big Red Machine out of the ring. However, this clothesline allowed Tyson Tomko to run out of the crowd and hand HHH the World title belt, which Triple H used to knock out Booker, and Batista then turned round to administer the 3 count, meaning that Triple H retained his title shot at Batista. 88%

After the match, as Triple H was helped up the aisle by Tomko, Booker T shoved Batista, moaning at how he missed the blatant cheating. Batista then pointed to Kane, explaining what had happened, and then the three men squared off, and this is how RAW ended.

I don't mind whether you create the nWo or not, but I would advise that 1) if you do create them, create them towards your own ideas, don't just copy them straight up, 2) if you don't create the nWo, you've got a massive gap to fill in your shows. I can't wait for this diary to start - good luck

Batista’s music hits, and he comes down to the ring in a suit, carrying his World Heavyweight belt over his shoulder. He reaches the ring and, suddenly, loads of superstars walk down the aisle. They climb into the ring, and congratulate Batista on his win at Backlash last night. Various superstars take a microphone and say how Batista is, truly, a great champion. These congratulations go on for another couple of minutes, but they are rudely interrupted when Evolution’s music hits, and Triple H strolls onto the stage, accompanied by Tyson Tomko. Triple H stares at Batista, before a sly smile breaks out across The Game’s face, and he claps his hands a few times. Tomko then hands him a microphone. Triple H says "To start off, I would like to congratulate Batista on his second successive title defence. Batista is truly showing to the world that he is a great World Heavyweight Champion." The Game pauses, as boos ring out around the arena. He then says "However, Batista might be a great World Heavyweight Champion, but he isn’t the Greatest. For Batista to be the greatest, he has to beat The Game, Triple H. Then, Batista can be considered One of the Greatest Champions Ever. If Batista wants to be considered as a great champion, he must stop hanging around with losers like the green power ranger, The Hurricane, and a Hugh Grant wannabee, William Regal." Triple H then throws the microphone in the direction of the ring and, as his music plays, Triple H walks off, with Tomko in tow, leaving Batista and the other faces in the ring, fuming. 85%

Triple H says tells him not to worry, and the Game says that he will get another shot when Triple H wins the World title at the next pay-per-view, if Christian can prove to HHH that he is worthy of another shot. Christian eagerly asks what he has to do to prove himself and, after a bit of thought, HHH says that he has to beat the Undertaker. 3rd Match: Chris Jericho vs Christian. This was an early contender for match-of-the-year, with both wrestlers combining their skills perfectly to put on a fantastic spectacle. However, the match ended on a sour note when Ric Flair interfered and blasted Jericho with the ring bell, allowing Christian to pick up the win. As Christian and Flair beat down Jericho, the arena went dark, and The Undertaker’s theme music played. Christian left Jericho to Flair, and he ran out of the ring, and escaped through the crowd. Taker came down the aisle and tossed an unaware Flair out of the ring, allowing Jericho to escape, before Taker followed Christian’s route through the crowd, looking for Christian. 93%

Heat Main Event Match: Eugene Dinsmore vs Maven. Maven entered the arena first, to mostly a dull silence, although there was a faint smatter of boos. The atmosphere changed dramatically, however, when Eugene entered. The majority of the crowd cheered when Eugene made his way to the ring, slapping every hand that was offered by the fans. When he finally climbed into the ring, Maven ran across and hit Eugene with a cheap shot, before the referee had signalled for the bell. The bell rang as Maven continued his assault on Eugene, hitting him in the face with rights and lefts, before picking him up and whipping him into the corner. Maven then followed up with a clothesline and a suplex on Eugene, but Maven only got a two count with a cover.

Maven then whipped Eugene across the ring and went for a standing dropkick, but Eugene avoided it by throwing himself underneath Maven’s body. Eugene then started to wave at Maven and smiling at him. Maven did not seem to be impressed, and he went for a running cross-body, but Eugene again avoided it, and Maven crashed into the turnbuckle. Eugene then ran off the ropes and hit Maven with a clothesline. Eugene then tried to follow up with a suplex, but Maven telegraphed it, and Maven then hit Eugene with a few more left and rights, before kicking Eugene in the stomach and locking in a front facelock. Maven kept the hold on Eugene for quite a while, before Eugene powered out of it and ran against the ropes. He ducked under a Maven clothesline, but he couldn’t avoid a powerslam. Maven then climbed to the top rope, taunting Eugene, telling him to get up. When Eugene did get up, Maven went for a dropkick off the top rope, but Eugene avoided it by rolling underneath the move. When Maven got up and turned around, Eugene hit him with a Stunner, and then a People’s Elbow to win the match. As Maven stumbled back down the aisle, Eugene went and celebrated with the crowd. 75%

1st Match: Ric Flair and Tyson Tomko vs William Regal and Tajiri. This match is for the World Tag Team Championships. Flair and Tomko entered the arena as a team for the first time to a chorus of boos. Regal and Tajiri quickly reached the ring with the titles, and the match started with Tajiri and Flair. They circled the ring before locking into a tie-up, then Flair moved round to Tajiri’s back. Flair then pushed Tajiri into the turnbuckle. He then whipped Tajiri into the opposite corner, where he slapped him across the chest three times. Flair then locked in a front facelock on Tajiri, and he dragged Tajiri over to Flair’s corner, where he tagged Tomko. Tomko then punched Tajiri and whipped him against the ropes, before hitting the Japanese star with a big boot. He then hit an elbow drop and he covered Tajiri, but he only got a two count.

Tomko then tagged in Flair, who then did a strut, before shouting WOOOOO!!!. However, Flair’s taunting cost him dearly, as Tajiri had time to recover so, when Flair went to pick him up, Tajiri hit the legend with a spinning heel kick. Tajiri then picked Flair up, and he hit him with an arm drag and then followed up with a dropkick. Flair then put his hands up, pleading with Tajiri to stop. However, when Flair tried to poke Tajiri in the eye, the Jap avoided it, and he clobbered Flair with a kick to the face, which Tajiri then followed up with a pin, but he only got a two count. Tajiri then tagged Regal, who came in and clotheslined Flair, and then ran at Tomko and knocked him off the apron. Regal then turned his attention back to Flair, and the Englishman hit Ric with a snap suplex and then he locked in a death lock on Flair.

As Flair screamed and squirmed in pain, Tomko ran into the ring and kicked Regal in the face to break the hold. This brought Tajiri into the ring, who dropkicked Tomko and then followed up by whipping the big man into the corner. Tajiri lifted Tomko onto the turnbuckle, before executing a Super Hurricanrana on Tyson. He then picked up Tomko, before whipping him into the ropes. Tajiri then caught a big boot attempt, before knocking him out of the ring with a Buzzsaw Kick. Meanwhile, Flair and Regal had got up and were trading blows on the opposite side of the ring to Tajiri. Tajiri ran across, but was knocked over when Regal whipped Flair into him. As Regal prepared to lock in a Crossface Chickenwing on a rising Flair, Tajiri sprayed Green Mist in Flair’s direction. However, Flair had the where-with-all to avoid the spray, and the Green Mist hit Regal. As Flair distracted the referee, Tomko came up behind Regal and waffled him with the Tag Title belt. He then big booted Tajiri out of the ring, while Flair covered the knocked out Regal to pick up the win. Tomko then dragged Flair out of the ring, after retrieving the belts. As Tajiri tended to his partner, Tomko helped Flair back down the aisle, while taunting the ex-tag team champions. 75%

Then, Victoria hit Lita with a bodyslam, which allowed Trish to go up top and hit a flying cross body on Victoria!

Trish then picked Lita up, but Lita then slapped Trish before hitting a snapmare and then following up with a leg drop. She then went up top, and went for a moonsault, but Trish moved. Trish then picked Lita up, and whipped her into the corner, where she collided with the referee! Then, Victoria rolled into the ring, with the title belt! Lita then turned Trish around, and tried to hit the Twist of Fate, but Trish pushed Lita into the ropes, and hit her with a Chick Kick on the rebound! The referee has got back up, and Trish pins Lita to win the match. 73%

3rd Match: Shelton Benjamin vs Chavo Guerrero vs Chris Jericho vs Rey Mysterio. This match is for Shelton’s Intercontinental Title. The match started with Shelton Benjamin grappling with Chavo Guerrero while Jericho and Mysterio ended up lying outside the ring, after they both went over the top rope when Rey executed a hurracanrana off the top to the floor below. Shelton dominated Chavo with a range of suplexes and flying kicks. After a high angle back suplex, Shelton jumped to the top rope and sprung back, hitting Chavo with a flying cross body. He then taunted the drowsy Guerrero, waiting for the Mexican to get up, before dropping him with a Super Kick to eliminate Chavo Guerrero.

Then Mysterio, mostly recovered, rolled back into the ring, and he ran in-between Benjamin’s legs, before rebounding off the ropes to hit Shelton with a flying cross chop. Mysterio then hit Shelton with a head scissors, before bouncing off and hitting Benjamin with a springboard Bulldog, but he only got a two count with a pin. Mysterio then tried another flying cross chop, but Benjamin caught him, and hit a fallaway slam. Both men were down on the canvas for a referee’s count of 7, before Rey tried to whip Shelton into the corner, which Benjamin reversed, and he whipped Mysterio into the opposite corner hard, and Mysterio stumbled back, only for Jericho to return to the ring and hit Mysterio with a running bulldog. Y2J then hit the Lionsault, before Benjamin came off the top rope with a 450 splash to eliminate Mysterio after getting a three count.

Jericho then hammered away on Benjamin, before kicking him in the chest and hitting a DDT. Then Jericho assumed full control, hitting Benjamin with a backbreaker before executing two suplexes. He then got a two count from a pin, before going up top. As Benjamin got up, Jericho went for a dropkick from the top, but Shelton managed to avoid it before collapsing, and both men were down on the canvas for a count of 8. Benjamin then got up and ran against the ropes, but Jericho rolled him into the Walls of Jericho! However, Benjamin reached the ropes, and Jericho let go. Jericho then picked Benjamin up, and he walked back a couple of steps, and went for the Enziguri. However, Benjamin ducked and, when Jericho turned around, Benjamin hit the T-Bone Suplex and retained the title. 85%

4th Match: Randy Orton vs The Undertaker. This was a Hell in a Cell match. Orton started by running scared from the Undertaker, who finally caught up with him down the ramp. He threw Orton into the barrier and bodyslammed him onto the ramp. He then hit a legdrop across the throat before picking Orton up and leading him back to the cell, Taker then threw Orton head first into the outside of the cell, which busted Orton open. Taker then threw him into the wire mesh again before dragging him back into the ring. He then grabbed Orton by the throat, preparing for a Chokeslam, but Orton kicked Taker below the belt. Orton then hammered away with rights and lefts, before Taker blocked a punch and tossed Orton out of the ring.

Orton then ran out of the cell again, but towards the announcers this time. Taker followed but, this time, Orton waffled him with a steel chair shot. Orton continued to hammer Taker with chair shots, before throwing Taker back into the Cell and into the ring post. Orton then rolled the Dead Man into the ring. Orton also rolled in, and pinned the Undertaker, but he only got a two count. Orton then rolled back out of the ring, and he looked under the apron. He then pulled out a table, which he set up in the ring. He then stalked the Undertaker, who struggled to get to his feet. Orton then kicked Taker below the belt, and he picked the Phenom up in a Dominator position, before sliding him down his back and hitting a neckbreaker through a table! Orton then goes for a cover, but Taker kicks out again at two.

A bloody Orton, now clearly frustrated, goes back outside again, and he returns to the ring with a 2x4, covered in barbed wire. As the crowd go wild, Orton blasts the Undertaker in the skull with the weapon, cutting Taker open. Orton continues to hammer away at Undertaker with the heinous weapon, this time into the body. Orton then goes for another cover and, again, Taker just kicks out at two.

Orton throws the 2x4 at the referee in frustration (but misses) and he, once again, retreats outside of the ring. This time, Orton throws a table and a sledgehammer into the ring. Orton rolls back in, and he sets up the table. As Taker slowly gets to his feet, Orton picks up the sledgehammer. As Taker finally stands to his full height, Orton smacks Taker in the face with the hammer, which sends Taker crumbling to the floor. Orton tosses the hammer aside, and he taunts the crowd, who boo ferociously. He then covers the Undertaker who, miraculously, kicks out before 3.

Orton falls back in total disbelief and, as he gets back up, the Undertaker sits up. Orton stumbles back in horror, as Undertaker rises to his feet, and he slowly makes his way to a petrified Orton. Taker blocks and returns three Orton punches, before Taker hits Orton with a Chokeslam. Then, Taker looks over to the table, and then back at Orton. Taker goes to the table and he sets it up into the centre of the ring. He then drags Orton to the middle of the ring and he picks him up for the Last Ride. However, as Taker began to pull Orton down through the table, Orton grabbed Taker’s head and shifted his weight, and Orton hit the RKO on the Undertaker through the table! An extremely battered Orton covers the bloody Undertaker to win the match. 86%

Well, Captain Charisma would like to remind people that I won a dual-brand battle royal on RAW which earned me this title shot." When the Coach asks Christian about the slim chance of leaving Ohio with the World Heavyweight title, Christian has a tantrum and tells Coach that he has a great chance of winning the title, and then he storms off, leaving the Coach trying very hard not to laugh. 80%

5th Match: Triple H vs Kane. This match is for the No.1 Contendership for the World Heavyweight Championship. Kane started the quickest, beating Triple H down in the corner with punches and kicks, before hitting the Game with a bodyslam. Kane then hits a legdrop, but misses a second legdrop, and Triple H knocks the Big Red Machine down with a high knee after coming off the ropes. Triple H then stomped away at Kane, and then he drove the knee into the big man’s throat.

Triple H then picked Kane up, but Kane drove his elbow into the ribs of the Game, before tossing Triple H by the throat out of the ring. Kane goes up top, and connects with a flying clothesline to Triple H on the outside. Kane then whipped Triple H into the steel steps, before rolling in and out of the ring to break the count. Kane then drags the Game over to the announcer’s table, where he slams Triple H’s head into the table. Kane then whips Triple H to the side of the ring, before driving his elbow into the mid-section of the Game, before rolling into the ring to break the count. Triple H slowly makes his way into the ring, before ducking a Kane big boot and chopping the knee of the Big Red Machine, sending the big man crashing to the floor.

Triple H then focuses on the legs, driving the knee into the canvas before locking in a deathlock. Kane eventually powers out of the hold and tries to stand up, but he collapses due to the damage knee. Triple H stomps away at the damaged knee a couple of times before picking Kane up. Triple H then whips the big man into the ropes, and Kane attempts to connect with a big boot on the rebound. However, HHH ducks, and Kane connects with the referee! Triple H whips Kane again into the ropes again, and this time HHH hits a spinebuster on Kane.

Triple H then picks Kane up, and gets him in the Pedigree position but, before he can perform the move, Booker T emerges out of the crowd and clotheslines Triple H! Booker T then misses a back heel kick, and Triple H hits the pedigree on Booker, who rolls out of the ring. However, when HHH turns around, Kane is up, and he hits the Game with a powerbomb and then he lies in wait for a chokeslam, as HHH slowly gets to his feet. Triple H gets up, and Kane moves in for a Chokeslam, when Booker T arrives back in the ring, and he tries to hit Triple H with a steel chair. But the Game ducks, and Booker connects with Kane! The referee then returns to the ring, and he tells Booker to leave. This distraction gives Triple H the chance to hit Kane with a pedigree onto the chair, and then tosses the chair out of the ring, and he covers Kane just as the referee turns around, and Triple H wins. 86%

Main Event: Batista vs Christian. This is a falls count anywhere match for Batista’s World Heavyweight Title. Christian started this match with a couple of right hands to Batista, which the Animal totally no sells and he knocks a shocked Christian down with a single right hand. Christian rolls out of the ring, scared, and Batista follows him down the aisle. He eventually catches up with Captain Charisma, and he hits a massive bodyslam onto the ramp, and then the Animal tosses Christian into the metal structure of the Titantron. Batista then leads Christian through the curtain and into the backstage area, where he slams Christian’s head into a vending machine. Batista then hits Christian across the back with a steel chair. The Animal then leads Christian out to the parking lot, where Batista throws him into the side of a truck. Batista then picks the challenger up, tosses him onto the roof of a car, and hits a massive spinebuster, on Christian, onto the roof of the car.

Batista jumps down, and he drags Christian back into the corridor, where he throws him into the wall. The champion then goes and picks up another chair, and he is about to hit Christian with it, when Ric Flair pulls the chair way from Batista. Batista turns around, and starts to advance towards Flair, who gets down on his knees and pleads with Batista to leave him alone. Batista grabs Flair by the throat, and is about to hit a clothesline on Flair when Tyson Tomko wallops Batista with the steel chair. Tomko then stomps away at the champion, while Flair helps Christian to his feet. Christian and Flair eventually join the beat down, and the three Evolution members drag the champion back into the arena, down the ramp, and back into the ring.

Evolution continue to beat away at Batista. Flair locks in the Figure-Four-Leglock on Batista, while Tomko drops elbows and Christian taunts the Animal. Christian then tells Flair and Tomko to lay off Batista, and Christian picks Batista up, as Flair and Tomko leave the ring and walk back up the ramp. Christian puts Batista in position for the Unprettier, but Batista uses his strength to lift Christian up, so that the challenger was spread eagled on Batista’s back, his head nearest the floor. Batista then drops Christian on his head, before picking him up and whipping him against the ropes. Batista then hits a massive spinebuster on Christian, and Flair and Tomko don’t notice that the tables have turned - they leave the arena, thinking that Christian is about to become World Heavyweight Champion. Batista picks Christian up and hits the ‘Tista Bomb, and covers him for the three count, to retain the title. 81%

As Batista climbs the turnbuckles with his title, playing to the crowd, Triple H runs down the ramp and throws Batista off the turnbuckle, crashing to the floor below. The Game then rolls out of the ring and puts Batista onto the Spanish announcer’s table, and he hits the pedigree through the table. Triple H then taunts a knocked out Batista, before helping Christian stumble down the aisle. And the show ends on the image of Batista, lying face down outside the ring, with his title lying next to him, and EMTs surrounding him.

  14. Can we all agree that Beckham deserved to be sent off? And that we should drop him, stick Shaun Wright-Phillips on the right and give the captaincy to John Terry. Yes Sven has absolutely no idea what he is doing, as much as I like Crouch, he should have left Owen on his own up front. Anyone who thinks that we are going to win the world cup should visit a mental institution.

Both men performed many enthralling high-flying manouveres which gained much appreciation from the crowd. However, the match ended on a sour note. Eric Bischoff comes down to the ring with a microphone. He starts off by saying “As I’m sure you all know, Backlash is next week, and we already have two great matches confirmed: Randy Orton vs The Undertaker in a Hell in a Cell, (big pop from the crowd) and Batista vs Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship, in a falls count anywhere contest (smaller pop from the crowd.).” Bischoff then says that “After having a long hard think, I have come up with a match, at Backlash, for the No.1 Contendership for the World Heavyweight title (he pauses before continuing.). I believe that there are three main superstars that deserve to be in the match at Backlash, but I want a one-on-one match at the PPV. So, to settle this matter, I have arranged for a triple-threat match tonight to decide who will be in the match at Backlash. The winner of the match will go to Backlash, and he will face the wrestler that doesn't get pinned in the triple threat match. The superstars will be: Booker T...Kane...and Triple H”. He then leaves to a massive pop from the crowd. 82%

2nd Match: William Regal and Tajiri vs Sylvain Greneir and Maven for the World Tag Team Championship. This was a match dominated by Regal and Tajiri, as they showed how good they were compared to Greneir and Maven. However, this wasn't an easy ride for the Tag champs, as Ric Flair and Tyson Tomko

ran down to the ring and attacked Regal and Tajiri. The end came when Tomko went for a big boot on Tajiri, who ducked, and Tyson's boot connected with Maven. Regal then threw Tomko out of the ring, and Tajiri hit the Buzzsaw kick on the legal man, Grenier, to win the match. However, after the bell, Flair and Tomko beat down the tag champs with their own belts. 75%

I would like to face Rey Mysterio at Backlash, and I now officially challenge Mysterio to come out, tonight, and to accept my offer.” Shelton stands and waits for Mysterio. However, instead of Rey coming out, Chavo Guerrero makes his way to the ring with a microphone. He says, “Hold on, Shelton, surely I am more worthy of a title shot than that little punk, Mysterio, as I proved earlier tonight by beating him.” Then Mysterio comes out, and he shoves Chavo, and he grabs his microphone, and he accepts Shelton's challenge. However, Chavo gets back up and he clotheslines Mysterio. Benjamin is about to get involved when Chris Jericho runs out of the crowd and breaks up the three wrestlers. He then takes Shelton's microphone and says, “If you want to prove your worth as a Intercontinental champ, junior, you should face Chris Jericho, the greatest Intercontinental Champion ever, at Backlash”. Eric Bischoff then makes his way to the ring with a mic. He tells all the superstars to calm down, and he says that, at Backlash, Shelton Benjamin will defend his IC title against Rey Mysterio, Chavo Guerrero and Chris Jericho. 81%

1st Match: Chris Benoit vs. Charlie Haas. On paper, this match is a technicians dream, and although it was still a tight contest, other things seemed to be on Benoits mind. The 19 year veteran seemed inexperienced, often turning his back on his opponent and arguing with the referee. Charlie Hass dominated most of the match, and even locked in the Hass of pain at one point, and a lesser man would of given up. However it seemed to be a wake up call for Benoit, who used his strength to power up and roll out of the submission. Benoit countered a german of Hass' with three of his own, and locked on the Crippler Crossface for the victory

2nd Match: Carlito Carribean Cool vs. Orlando Jordan vs. Heidenreich vs. Big Show

Teddy Long booked this match wih a special stipulation: If Orlando won, he would not have to defend his title at the next pay per view. Orlando started the match with a viciousness rarely shown, and, along with the other two competitors, they went for a weakened Big Show, who was barely concious after being found backstage passed out. The action went back and forth, with each competitor getting close to beating the Big Show at one point. Carlito and Orlando brought up their differences again, and ended up brawling outside the ring. Despite not being the cleverest wrestler around, Heidenreich still managed to take advantage of this and caught the Big Show with his running sidewalk slam for the win. After the match, Snitsky came down, and him and Heidenreich demolished Jordan and Carlito, before standing tall together in the middle of the ring

Holly got frustrated, and lifted Shawn up for the Falcon Arrow, but Shawn dropped out behind him, and nailed the Sweet Chin Music for the win.

No sooner had Shawn won, was he lying on the mat again, as a result of an Angle slam from Kurt Angle, who had came through the crowd, he then locked on the Ankle Lock, forcing Shawn to tap out, Angle didnt let go until officials came down and dragged him off a now injured Shawn.

4th Match: Billy Kidman, Akio and Spike Dudley vs. Paul London, Nunzio and Shannon Moore. Velocity was headlined by 6man cruserweight action, and it showcased just how much talent there is dying to break out of the Cruserweight division, and onto bigger things. Kidman and London were the leaders of their respective teams, and after what happened on Smackdown this week, London was dying for a piece of Kidman.

Kidman didnt enter the ring once in the entire contest, and any time Akio or Spike went for a tag, he either spat at them or looked away. Akio and Spike had Nunzio isolated for the majority of the match, but when Nunzio moved out of the way of a stiff kick from Akio, and it leveled Spike, which gave Nunzio the chance to tag London in. London showed why he was the best Cruserweight in the WWE, clearing house with a hurricanrana on Spike and a powerbomb on Akio, before climbing up to hit London Calling for the victory.

After the faces left the ring, Kidman proceeded to beat down Akio and Spike, yelling at them for being "pathetic losers" as he did so. He then piled them ontop of each other, and hit a Shooting Star Press, before leaving in disgust
