Isn't there any likelihood Werdum might get in trouble for kicking a non-competitor?
It was edmond tarverdyan. If he does I'll gladly pitch in on a crowd fund.

Yeah, I do. Doesn't change the fact that I feel bad for Punk here.

The toughest thing about it is that he literally showed nothing. 2 years of work and as soon as he rushed Gall I just shook my head.

No shame in Punk fighting elsewhere and working back to it. I doubt we see that though since he's a bit older

So, finale...
Does anyone else feel really bad for the "monster"? It wasn't malicious at all, it was just eating to survive as far as we know. I'm hoping they left that open for a second season, but it did feel a bit like territory that never got explored. Ditto the fact Barb's death seemed to just get glazed over.
Other than that, loved it. Just an amazing show that never stopped to fill space, every part of it felt important and it was an amazing ride. When my only complaints are "they didn't give me enough exposition" but they're doing a second season... yeah, I can ignore those problems, especially since the D&D ending basically lampshaded those factors.
I really liked Steve too. Like, he seems like a douchebag when he turns on Jonathan and Nancy, but who wouldn't feel hurt and betrayed seeing that? Can you really blame him for lashing out? And his subsequent helping of the guy cleaning grafiti, as well as his turning his back on his mean spirited friends and helping Jonathan and Nancy in the fight against the monster went to show he wasn't a bad guy (even though some reviews I read went as far as to call him a "scumbag").
Hopper was probably my favourite character, followed by Dustin, but they were all great. Everyone felt so human. Great writing and acting.
SpoilerI think they may go back to Barb. Didn't she have a slug crawling out of her mouth? And Will was vomiting them up, so it's possible they tie that in.

Birdemic is painful. It actually is worse than 'so bad it's good' - it's pretty much unwatchable crap.
That's how I felt about Gasper Noe's I Stand Alone. For an "artistic" movie I couldn't make it 15 minutes.

Holy shit I just watched trailers for Fateful Findings and Double Down. These look just...wow.

Completely forgot about Toxic Avenger. I watched it as a kid and remember thinking it was really weird. Would be interesting to see again.

I went to a screening of Troll 2 last night, and the theatre does a monthly screening of The Room as well. My girlfriend was pretty much dragged there and thought it was stupid until it got going and she really got into the whole thing. What are some other painfully bad movies that make for a good watch?

There are arguments to be made that Edmonton moving Hall isn't that bad because it gets them a good D, frees up some space for Lucic, and theres a big expectation for Puljujarvi.
i mean none of them are good, but there are arguments. Unless this guy magically morphs into Chris Pronger 2.0, I don't get it.
Also
Quotexpressed my disappointment in what had happened,” Hall said when asked about his conversation today with Oilers general manager Peter Chiarelli. “I don’t want to sound like I’m not excited to join New Jersey because that’s not the case. I’m a proud person and I do take this as an indictment of me as a hockey player. I don’t think there’s any other way to treat. It’s safe to say that I’m a very motivated hockey player now."
He wanted to be here, which is almost unheard of. He's probably the biggest fan favorite since Ryan Smyth. Nobody seems too thrilled with this. Hope he succeeds.

I guarantee the ending is because
SpoilerThey needed more time to decide who to kill off.

Welp,
SpoilerI have no idea why I never considered that there would be a cliffhanger ending. Not a fan of it on this one, I think seeing who it was and waiting until season 7 would have more of an effect.
I thought the acting was great in that scene though. Rick looked like he legit shit his pants. He did a great job of showing he was all out of answers and wouldn't look at anybody.

Every time I watch I keep finding myself trying to predict how Saul is going to fuck over Kim in the end.
-
Of the available options, I'd prefer
SpoilerGlen. Darryl and Abrqham still have backstories (Daryl) or lots of traction moving forward (both). For me, Glen is played out. There's not much left for him to do, and his death would give the greatest push to another character (Maggie) moreso than the other two.

Name that movie: The only thing I remember is a scene where some kids are holding another kid down trying to convince him to talk. They just keep saying "talk...yeah talk" while another one holds a hammer over a nail. It was from the 90's and was based in Ireland or England or something. May have been during war time.

Saw it, loved it. Only a few major complaints:
SpoilerWow did Captain Phasma ever just roll over on lowering the shields. Like she didn't even put up a fight. That whole bit seemed ridiculous to me. They did a terrible job in that scene and it was the one thing that made me think 'the fuck was that?'.
I also found some of the comedy bits and dialogue to be a bit too overplayed and cheesy. Nothing I can't deal with. But then when Kylo Ren pulls his mask off and starts talking, I just see Adam from Girls. Adam Driver's voice is so distinctive that it's hard to get past.
At the same time, I agree with @damshow that he's supposed to be a kid trying to be evil, and not quite the big bad.

Is there something I'm missing with spoiler tags now? I can't seem to get them to work on my posts.

I thought she looked confused/scared. Like she thought she was hot shit with her Vegeta shirt but then she discovered that Holly is Freeza.
I'd have to watch it again but it looked like she kinda stamped and mouthed something. Awesome dodge, was very impressed with Holm.

I know less than nothing about UFC, but caught the fight with a few friends. That dodge Holm does in the second round is a thing of beauty.
Ronda looked PISSED after that one

I watched an episode of Bastard Executioner. I have no idea which one. It was awful.
