Line in this week's episode...suppose its a spoiler for Infinity War too

"You see the weird stuff happening in New York?"

While I'm curious how none of the SHIELD agents just happened to be in the "half the galaxy", it makes sense they don't address that.  We only have to wait a week for the follow up SHIELD episode, as opposed to a year for the Avengers movie

Spoilers for the movie and the last episode:

    Spoiler

The events of the episode takes 1 or 2 hours at most,so the "Snap" hasn't happen yet, also depending of how they bring back everyone in Avengers 4 it may never happen.

Hale's backstory with a Hydra Academy?  I feel like they just thought Hydra should have an academy and didn't think that it doesn't make sense in the hierarchy of Shield, and decided to just toss the Hydra Logo everywhere so you know for sure these guys are the evil ones.  I get in the 90's Shield didn't know Hydra was still a thing, but you would think with the level of stealth they had in infiltrating Shield they wouldn't be a little more subtle about it, or Shield is just awful at looking at the background of their top secret agents.

    Spoiler

Hydra keep it a secret from everyone, then the people inside SHIELD make sure they cover doesn't got blown.

I just finished Luke Cage.  The end of it was terrible.  Apparently Iron Fist isn't very good which is unfortunate because I need something to cleanse that last episode out of my brain.

I would reccomend to at least wath episode 6 of Iron Fist,it is good for a stand alone episode.(Can somebody correct me if is not)

    Spoiler

the one with the 3 trials

  4. I do agree that are many shows, but just because these shows are being producing/airing doesn't mean You have to watch all.I have never watched Gotham but obviusly lots of people are,the same as lots of people aren't watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D but I do.

As any tv genre they are going to be good and bad shows, and shows that are more suited to your tastes than others, the only 2 shows i watch from week to week is Flash and the aforementioned AOS, then cath up to the others I like between season's.

Nah. I wanna watch Superman fight bad guys and maintain his morals, not the drama of his exploded home planet before he was a thing.

This came out of the success of Gotham, i wont watch it any time soon, but saying that superhero tv/film have overstayed their welcome is a bit too far,to me is more of a diverse kind of shows you got to choose from....

What an episode, they just keep elevating themselves!

But with the Odium being given to Gen. Hale, doesn't that just mean the impending alien invasion is from the Kree with the father of Kassius leading them to Earth?

Also, holy shit, they actually managed to swerve me with Evil Fitz and Good Fitz, full props to the director and Iain to make that story play out in such supreme fashion. Good Fitz losing his shit on the slow burn, these past few episodes with him getting frustrated and angry, and even near the reveal showing his old Season 2 psyche where he could barely speak or move properly without breaking down mentally. And Framework Fitz being his cold blooded and calculated self, 'doing what needs to be done' and torture-operating on Daisy.

Then the reveal hits that it wasn't the fear dimension, and Fitz instead has a psychological breakdown that brought out the terrible part in him and he actually perpetrated everything.

Complete it all with the LMD shooting Mack, and naturally Daisy vowing to never forgive Fitz for what he did. Just extremely heavy stuff, and again Iain de Caestacker and also Elizabeth Henstridge producing stellar acting work again showing how insanely talented both of them are, their emotional stuff transcends AOS in terms of quality.

Heck, all the insanity with Fitz nearly made me forget there was a side story going on. Coulson working with General Hale who is on the payroll of the Kree, probably under the misguided evil that she's protecting the world. And the return of Ivanov and his majestic beard-game, and the first showing of Creel too who seems to also have good intentions but is batting for the wrong side.

What an episode, after 20 minutes I was already tired and then the exciting parts still had to blow me away.

If this is the final season, they sure as hell are looking to go out on the highests of high notes. Because every time they just manage to transcend their fate and be the best show on cable television in terms of delivering thrills and emotion in equal spades.

    Spoiler

I think Kassius's father will piggyback Thanos invasion to launch one himself.and since all Avengers will be busy,Shield will be the ones to stop it during the events of Infinity war, then we get the whole Earth getting shatered at the end of the season.

I like to think that Al (the cop) is actually Carl Winslow from Family Matters. He ended up relocating and changing his name, but stayed a police officer.

Im now waiting for the "I shot a kid" meme to show up here.....

to me the best one is Die Hard 2, and back when I was a kid I honestly believed that "Last boy scout" was a Die Hard sequel, I was so mad that Holly was cheating on McCleane.....din't pay much attention to names in movies back then.

also I hope Thinker stays in his current host body for the rest of the season, because I love that actress and love the weird genderqueer undertones of it all.

    Spoiler for the comment:

    Spoiler

In her original episode, thinker says that She may be the most important part of the plan,so he might, but then is the problem of him absorbing the rest of bus metas, since aparently his mind jumps from body to body everytime.

Well thanks to a Youtuber I just saw a picture from an upcoming episode. I can already see myself hating that episode.

    Spoiler: it involves Iris.

I know the one you are talking about, we are on the same wagon.

Also agree, goldbed is a decent actor, too bad his arc din't last more.

And finally (spoiler for last episode #13):

A YouTuber I watched pointed out connections between the original and Lane. Lane is just later in the timeline and the monster and aliens aren't connected unless it was just a happy accident and the aliens took out the satellite that fell and woke the monster.

I saw one video suggesting the aliens send the monster to attack and then coming to finish the job, Pacific Rim style...

Finally got caught up on AOS, and yeah, this season is certainly 'out there' in terms of plot, but they just make it work every single time. I'd still say that the framework stuff was better, but I think it's a tall order to ever transcend that.

Notes on the first 10 episodes, and other people's remarks.

    - Enoch was just so silly, and dumb, and ridiculous in every way. All of those 'enigmatic alien' tropes combined, and I liked him for the screentime he got.
    - I don't see Deke returning through some spectacular way, even though I felt he was a standout character and he really deserved more of a chance. But the way they left the question to Flint (who has stayed behind) that others can go back in time, it makes sense that he MIGHT. Ditto with Flint/Tess mentioning his death at the end there, feels like a deliberate way to make people think he might have made it.
    - The growth of Fitz continues to be stellar in every way. The way he's hardened, and generally become a more decicisive person, Iain is a brilliant actor.
    - I wonder what's gonna happen to Coulson, the way future Yo-Yo mentioned it his death seemed to be foretold, but since he's such a massive character, I'm always doubtful he'd get written off. But at this point I do feel that the rest of the cast has grown enough as characters to deal with his departure from the show.
    - Also, really hoping Lance Hunter is going to be back for more than just that one episode. I loved him in that episode.
    - ALSO, I hope now that they've returned from the future (or have they?) they will explain what's up with that colonel who shot her two subordinates. Because what's up with that.

    Spoiler

Future Yo-Yo also say that the team has to let Coulson's death happen, so I guess they save him.

Hunter will be back for at least a couple of episodes,He's taking care on Young Robin and surely they will go look for her.

The evil general I'm pretty sure will be a big baddie.

4 weeks is too long :(

Despite She having no powers, no superior intellect and not even any other skills like Joe, She make herself Team leader and boss everybody around. Then She will complaint to her husband who is the one in prison that they can't touch and make herself the victim. In the entire last episode the only one that din't risk her life was her, but she thinks she is essentiall because Barry loves her.
