LSU leapfrogs USC by two points in the AP Poll. I have no problems with that seeing how USC had a lot of trouble with Washington while LSU cruised past Tulane. Surprised to see South Florida jump 12 spots by beating West Virginia but good for the Bulls, probably the last Florida team you would've expected in the Top 10. Lord I can't wait for USC-Cal on Nov. 11th.

  2. Milton Bradley out for the rest of the season after tearing his ACL when manager Bud Black buckled his knee restraining him during an argument with the first base umpire. Just another hilarious story in the saga of Milton Bradley. From what I've heard and read though, the first base ump was egging him on really badly, even the Padres first base coach said as much. Bradley had been performing real well for San Diego and this takes a chunk out of a meager offense. I hope this keeps San Diego out of the playoffs because well, I don't like them.

  3. This whole Isiah Thomas sexual harrassment trial leaves me embarassed to be a Knicks fan. From Isiah laughing while his accuser is on the stand to Marbury's gleeful testimony how he banged an intern in a car, to me personally is kinda funny but shows what disarray is going on with the "figureheads" of the Knicks organization. Marbury can't get to Italy quick enough and honestly, how much money would it take to get Jeff Van Gundy back.

  4. Hey McNabb only played bad because of the abuse black quarterbacks get in the media. Not because he throws one hoppers to open receivers or dances around in the pocket like he thinks its 2001. Philly looks as if they aged 10 years in one and their best player (Brian Westbrook) has monster games just to get overlooked in key spots.

As for Leftwich, the Falcons won't allow him to wear #7 when he suits up for Atlanta. I don't see why that is such a problem, it would save on jersey production as they'd just have to take off the Vick name on all those jerseys lying around. Oh wait they've probably already been burned in protest.

And on one last note, I hate the Patriots...but through two what were supposed to be tough games so far, they look like a machine. I just hope Randy Moss reverts back to Oakland Randy and stops playing like Minnesota rookie Randy. And Tom Brady has a coronary.

  5. The Dodgers are officially dead in my eyes so its back to the races that matter. I think Red Sox fans are officially sitting on the panic button and at least for one day Mets fans have been taken off suicide watch. The NL Central Race is going to come down to the wire, but I really think Chicago is going to take it now that Sheets could be on the shelf. And as for the Wild Card, I hate San Diego so...go Phillies and Matt Capps go sleep in a gutter you bum.

  6. Philadelphia and San Diego need to start losing, every time the Dodgers win it seems they do to. It just so happens they win every time the Dodgers lose too. I have conceded that Arizona is winning the division but the Wild Card hopes are dwindling equally as fast. The Phils are getting St. Louis in the middle of a billion game losing streak and San Diego is getting the woeful Pirates. I can only hope for a miracle.

  7. These Titans/Colts games really tear me up. It seems it always comes down to that last drive where Indy needs a defensive stop and they bend just enough without breaking. They took a big risk on that last play today stacking 9 in the box to keep Young from taking off but it paid off. Vinatieri had a shaky day though. I'm still wondering how that blocked 20 yarder snuck through the uprights.

  8. Another washed up ex-star has also thrown his name into the comeback pool, H20 Allan Houston. With Miller, Oakley, and Penny (recently signed) all trying to get back into the game after 1+ year absences from the game (not even mentioning Kevin Willis at the end of last season with Dallas and Scottie Pippen's comeback plea) is becoming a hilarious trend. Here's rooting for Glenn Robinson, Keith Van Horn, Ron Mercer, and other washouts to want back in the league.

  9. Ray Allen? No big deal. Kevin Garnett? He's just taking Gerald Green's number. The most influential offseason transaction for the Boston Celtics this offseason happened today when they inked former Kansas Jayhawk Scot "Hey Kids Do Drugs" Pollard to a one-year deal worth the league minimum, an absolute steal.

Celtics better hope that noone gets hurt now or its gonna be big minutes for a guy who stole his haircut from Kazuya from Tekken.

  10. "That was the heaviest slam we've ever seen...I can't believe he made the 720."- Tony Hawk

It goes from semi-genuine concern for a dude who fell a large distance and stuck the landing so to speak to wow he landed that trick. Nevermind that he is not moving or that he fell from the equivalent of a small apartment building, he landed the 720. Only at the X-Games.
