  1. Just finished Junky by William S. Burroughs. It was a quick read and quite a good book, ending on a rather falt note though. I have Naked Lunch by Burroughs lying around, but i decided to wait with it for a while. Instead I started on Martin Amis Money: A Suicide Note. Right now I'm about 50 pages in and completely hooked, Amis storytelling and characters are really great. Right now I'm considering purchasing London Fields, but i'll wait and see how Money turns out first
  2. Yeah like I said, Bukowski has really sucked me in already, can't believe I've been able to avoid him for so long. I acutally watched Born into This last week, very interresting documentary. American Psycho I read a few years ago, I liked it very much and it was the reason I actually wanted to start reading Ellis from the top, but I never really got around to it until recently, don't know why. Actually I've been recommended Naked Lunch before, but you wouldn't rec. it? I was actually thinking about getting into Burroughs, having never really read anything by him. I was thinking of either starting with "Junkie" or "Naked Lunch", but guess it's junkie then.
  3. I read Less Than Zero by Bret Easton Ellis not too long ago. It was a quick and easy read, and a fairly decent book. I was a little suprised by some of the ending moments, but not much. On recommendation from a friend I began reading Bukowski, starting with Post Office. I really sucked me in quickly, great book. I've been reading some of his poetry and short stories too, but currently I'm in the process of reading through Factotum. So far I don't find it as good as Post Office, but a really interresting read nonetheless.
  4. QT is one of my favourite directors of all time, and one of the few people where I will watch everytime he puts out a new movie. I gave him a 9. As for the favourite QT film it is Reservoir Dogs for me with Pulp Fiction being a close second. I just love the entire concept of Reservoir Dogs and there are so much brilliant and memorable dialouge it is unbelievable. Mr. White, Mr. Pink, Mr. Blonde all just great and memorable characters.
  5. 1. Mötley Crüe 2. Dire Straits 3. Crashdiet 4. Guns n' Roses 5. W.A.S.P. 6. Aerosmith 7. Led Zeppelin 8. Lynyrd Skynyrd 9. Van Halen 10. Black Sabbath 11. Skid Row 12. Stevie Ray Vaughan 13. Iron Maiden 14. Pearl Jam 15. Megadeth Like people have said above, it's mostly what I'm into at the moment, but the top 9 or so will always be consistent around their spot.
  6. Fantastic. I was all for Andy Schleck before the tour began, but with the horrible strategy Leopard-Trek brougt to the table, the last power performances of Andy just didn't cut it. I still think Andy could have won, had they just focused on getting him the victory and not both brothers on the podium. Evans is difinitely the right winner of the tour.
  7. Apparently Jens Voight is stuck in a traffic jam on Alpe d'huez and there's about half an hour untill he has to start. Difinitely not good
  8. Voeclker continues to push on rather impressively. I'm waiting to see if Contador will actually ever do anything, either his knee has him completely grounded or he's faking it and will probably attack on one of the later mountain stages. Also I thought they would have lost Ivan Basso by now but he's hanging on quite well.
  9. Jens Voight is really unlucky right now, he just crashed two times in like 3 minutes. Let's hope that's it for today.
  10. Amazing performance by Hushovd today, difinetely didn't see that coming.
  11. Good to see Cavendish finally take home a win after the scuffle with Hushovd the other day and the way he was boxed in by Tom Bonnen in the sprint mid-way through today. Also Nicki Sørensen's crash was pretty crazy, it's a wonder he wasn't more hurt than he was.
