  1. I'm hoping we grab another QB this year in the 4ht or 5th round. Dennis Dixon hasn't shown much of anything and our other options are too injury prone (Leftwhich) or old as dirt (Batch). Thank god we drafted an O-Lineman though. Now we can concentrate on the secondary :shifty:

  2. So I've been playing as Fortuna Sittard in the Dutch 2nd division and it's been interesting. We were predicted to finish dead last, but I've kept us hovering around mid table with my 5-4-1 bus parktastic strategy (Presumably an anomaly in Dutch football). We have been weird though. We seem able to snatch draws against bigger teams and really play to opponent's levels. For example we lost our opening Dutch Cup match against a non-league side (No idea what division, doesn't matter) but had drawn with the 2nd place team like, the game before.

I always seem to end up with these really conservative, defensive formations though. I feel like anytime I try to run an agressive or offensive oriented team I just leak goals non-stop.

  3. So I've been itching to try these for awhile now, and since I actually have a mic and figured out some recording stuff here it is. Not exactly the best (I don't even realize I can move into the next level of games) but hopefully I'll get sharper as I do more of these. Always open to suggestions, although they'll have to remain NES or Sega Genesis games until I figure out a better way to capture video with FRAPS.

I am getting suggestions on another board, but feel free to request games in here.

    Future updates:

    Maniac Mansion (NES)

Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage (SEGA Genesis)

    Completed Shows:

  4. Been struggling hard in the BSP so far with Truro. We are just barely out of relegation and after managing to upet Newport we lost (After a 1-0 lead) to Aldershot in the FA Cup. I've been adding guys over the year to try and get us better but we seem incapable of getting draws. We either win or lose. On the plus side my Under 18 team is leading their group and is in Round 4 already. They only have one competitive loss (2-1 against Cardiff) and one draw (0-0 vs. Swindon). Hopefully a good sign for the future if I can keep these guys around.

I also somehow ended up with 7-8 different nationalities for my starters although they almost all speak English (Or French oddly enough...)

  5. So I am wanting to add some new European leagues to the game using the editor, but I have no idea what to do with prize money ect. and was wondering if there was anywhere to find downloads of some kind for this?

Also an update on my Truro City game. After a bad 2nd half of the year we won 6 of our last 7 and thanks to my good buddies Staines, we won the South by one point on the last day! Pretty pumped since I am kind of crap at this game and we were projected to finish 10th. This in theory would be our 6th promotion in 7 seasons. Really glad I gave Mitchell McPike that injection now. He can get a well earned rest :shifty:

  6. Josh Wagenaar

Apparently he's already been capped, so I guess I'm not totally shocked. 21 games into the year (AKA halfway) and we are tied for first win Staines. My pseudo bus parking style has seen us give up 14 goals (12 Shutouts). Won 5 of our last 6 in the league (All shutouts) and drew in the other. Only 2 league losses so far (The 4-0 debacle in our first game) and a 1-0 road loss to 17th place Farnborough. Still haven't lost at home. Things are going well, hopefulyl we get promoted since I seem to suck in Cups and am already knocked out of the FA Cup AND FA Trophy.

  7. Playing a game as Truro City and it's been a lot of fun. After getting drubbed 4-0 in our opening game we went on, like a 10 game unbeaten run. I think we've lost 2 since than (Although one was in the FA Cup to a non-league team...) but we are sitting 3rd in the BSS and the board has actually upped my budget and seem legit interested in expansion. Won't bother naming my guys, but I have a Canadian goalie whose somehow been called up to the national team and a Spanish striker/AMC to go with my pletheora of English dudes.

At thise rate I'll be overtaking Plymouth as the southernest League team in a couple years :shifty:

  8. Hines Ward has been on the Steelers since 1998, which is pretty impressive considering the roster overturn and his physical style of play as a WR. I heard he might get cut on ESPN, but I'd hope he would retire before plaing for another team after this much time with the Steelers. After him I have no idea whose got the most tenure active on the team. They probably aren't that close though.

Also yeah, Hansen has been there forever. He's been pretty great the whole time though. Kicker's just never leave :shifty:

  9. I don't see what was wrong with Campbell. Before he got hurt he was running things pretty well and seemed more than capable of leading Okaland to a division title. While obviously rusty, Palmer already looked shaky before and I wouldn't be shocked if he is actually worse than Campbell at this point. Of course as DMN said, when you put that much value into trading for someone he's pretty much got the job locked up for him. Shame of Campbell though, he really didn't deserve to lose his job (Especially to an injury).

  10. Man, I pretty much hate him but Brady Quinn has to feel fucking terrible. He does all of his work to be put into the #1 spot on the depth chart and not only doesn't get called in before Tebow, but doesn't get to start before him. I mean sure, he's awful and might be worse than Tebow but he earned at least a shot. John Fox really has no balls.

I'm sure once Tebow hits like 10 picks they'll give him a go though :shifty:
