  1. Internazionale's Serie A game with Lazio has been postponed following the death of an away supporter.

A Lazio fan died after clashes between Biancocelesti and Juventus supporters at a motorway restaurant near Arezzo.

Reports suggest the fan was shot, although details of the incident have yet to be confirmed.

However, Sunday's Serie A fixture between champions Inter and Lazio at Giuseppe Meazza has been called off with a later date to be rearranged.

Juventus' game at Parma, meanwhile, is expected to go ahead, along with the other fixtures in Sunday's programme, albeit with a 15-minute delay.

Also the AC Milan game against Atlanta seems to have been abandoned due to fan troubles as well

I'd prefer either Christian or Rhyno but theres no way Carlos is gonna drop the title anytime soon it will leave Rhino looking pretty weak most likely though if he still can't beat him.

  4. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe said that backwards compatibility with PlayStations 2 games of the PlayStation 3 console, slated to be released in PAL regions in about a month, will not be as good as that of the Japanese and the U.S. versions of the console (which play 98% of old games). “The backwards compatibility is not going to be as good as the U.S. and Japan models,” a Sony spokesperson was quoted as saying by Reuters news-agency. It is unclear exactly how many games will be playable on the next generation console. Sony emphasized that the company expects end-users to jump on the PS3 bandwagon in anticipation of improved game titles made exclusively for the new console: “Rather than concentrate on PS2 backwards compatibility, in the future, company resources will be increasingly focused on developing new games and entertainment features exclusively for PS3.”

To make matters worse for European gamers, in PAL regions the machines will retail for up to $240 more than in the U.S. and up to $345 higher compared to the recommended price (¥59 980 or $495) in Japan. Initially Sony will only sell the higher-end PlayStation 3 version of the console (60GB HDD), for €599 ($777) in the most of the markets and for pricing close to that in variety of countries: UK – £425 ($837), Ireland – €629 ($816), Australia – AUD 999.95 ($777), New Zealand – NZ 1199.95 ($840).

So glad I decided to go with a 360 now

  5. Seen Hibs were 5-1 on so went to put on a few quid but the odds had dropped slightly to 9/2

    Accumulator was this week

    Liverpool 1/3

    Man Utd 1/3

    Spurs 4/9

    Birmingham 4/5

    Stoke 4/6

    Accrington 8/5

    Notts County 4/7

    Stranraer 4/7

So Yeah pretty poor picks but ya never know your luck :ohwell:

  6. Not wanting to sound like a troll but you were hardly lighting the world cup up in the games before then and yet still winning or qualifying plus by now pretty much everyone should know what any portugese team national or club level would throw themselves down if shot when you're within two feet of them.

That said there are still some positives England could take from the world cup no1 being more Sven, two being how well some of the players handled the first big tourney Lennon & Crouch, and three the team will now be picked on merit not on who is best pals with the bost or the biggest name.
