As an Englishman who only vaguely grasps the concept of this lock out business, a couple of questions.

1. Do the players get paid during a lockout?

2. What happens in regards to expiring contracts? Say for example, LeBron's Cav's contract was a year longer and he would be in free agency now, could he sign a new contract?

2. A player is not able to sign new contracts during a lockout. So expiring contracts just expire unless they where ''locked'' before 1 july.

With locked i mean is of course a team and the player having a verbal agreement for when the lockout ends. (Happens most with players who get resigned to a new contract)

Also in fact during a lockout players are unable to have business with any team in the NBA in any way.

So injured players can't work with team physio's.

Players can't use the training facilities of their teams.

And so on.

Well if this means there will be a few Make a Wish kids in the game i will have to tank some stats for sure.

Personally i don't have qualms with MaW children being added because it's a noble thing to do, but really having them at 99 overall and them leading the Flyer's attacking 3 annoys me quite a bit.

But nothing what a minute of stat editing can't fix.

CHL rules are correct. I crushed somebody and somehow my helmet came off and the game sent me straight to the bench. This is actually how Be-a-Pro should have been the last 4 years. Loving it so far.

Also we need to setup a PS3 team and HUT games between friends.

Just a quick question about the CHL start in BAP.

How much fun is it playing the CHL? Does it really feel like Major-Junior hockey or is it more like AHL plus in a sense you just wait for your big break?

Personally i am a huge fan of the CHL, and i really hope when i buy it the CHL experience in BAP is something to behold.

Also to add to the CHL question, are the rules correct or are they tuned towards the NHL league in this game?

that predator video was the first time i seen a WWE 12 gameplay video and there are a few gripes that strike me.

1) Some character animation look worse than last year, it can be because it's a pre-build. But with Christian certainly i felt his head just looked... off. And The Rock looks like a oversized bald baby and doesn't really strikes me as The Rock.

2) Animation speed is a bit too fast for my taste and for it to be realistic. I feel that some of the move animations seem too fast than they are in real life and it's once again off-putting. It could also be because of the build they shown. (good example is how they simply rocket away from the top rope)

But there where a few good things i liked from the video

1) I am loving the fact you can interrupt moves whilst someone is moving. It's a lot better than the previous locked animations that forced the other fighters in the match to wait for the animation to finish to continue the assault. (But it can become annoying if AI spams punches when you try to get that DDT on someone.)

2) Also to add to the animation bit, i liked the fact that you could now combine moves without them breaking other's move e.g. 5 knuckle with a top rope jump and such. It's certainly great if you play with a friend and you can chain crazy things together.

3) Breaking points look interesting and the finisher storage is FINALLY back into the series, a thing i sorely missed. (Me and my friends love to fight paced matches with it ending in a finisher, and the stored finisher system is perfect to play such matches out more flowingly.)

I am waiting for more info to come and hopefully see later builds of the game before making my final judgement, but this years game looks pretty good.

I have stumbled across this (still) free indie game that is currently in 0.9 Beta and my god it's fun as hell.

Like the title and link says, it's Kerbal Space Program.

It's a game where you try to build (un)successful space rocket and get your three kerbals safely into space (to their deaths).

The engine itself is very stable but the rockets and such are still a bit sparse, although there is already a little modding community which makes new rockets and other paraphernalia to strap on your would-be space rocket.

I will post a few pictures of the game in spoilers. With crazy and downright insane rocket builds and how the game looks in general.

So if you ever wanted to be a amateur rocket scientist and make things fly, or go *BOOM*. This is a fun game to try.

I mean Saints Row 2 was and still is pure and total awesome.

But by the looks of things the dev's just went together and threw random shit on the table and went with it.

Nothing looks too crazy in SR3 and that is exactly what the game series needs at this point.

They need to fully walk away from being comparable to GTA and start their own brand of open world sandbox carnage.

It's just like some higher order gave them the all-clear to make the most retarded sandbox game ever created... And i love it!

From the looks of things its a must buy.

I got the game, I'm basically just trying to learn the shooting motions for Jordan and the Bulls right now. It seems like unless I get it just right it's a brick every time even if I'm Jordan and I'm wide open. That will come with some practice I suppose though, as will figuring out the controls and such.

What I can't figure out though is how to dunk. I'll get some momentum and I'll go to shoot so that it goes into the animation of driving towards the goal, but my guy never dunks the ball and I can't figure out why. I've tried pressing the square button and I've tried the shot stick; neither work for me. Any tips?

1) Is your guy a dunker? If you try with Boykins it's obvious enough that he won't dunk.

2) Are you close enough, somewhere between the free throw line and the basket should work. If you are too close they will try to lay it in unless he's a center.

Started a MyPlayer as a Pass-First PG. Finished the Combine and had a Team-mate Grade of A- (average of). Got drafted 24th overall by the Hawks. Got a B in the first Circuit game.

But I only have an overall of 42 (Or 41). How the hell do I get it up?

The best way to get your average number up is by throwing lots of points into Defensive and offensive awareness.

But i suggest you focus more on the skills you need like passing and ball handling.

It's primarily due to all my mates not knowing who everyone is in the world of basketball. The only guys they know are the huge guys in terms of popularity.

I actually ment stars as in superstars in the style of Kobe/Lebron.

People who are known by everyone with even a little knowledge of Basketball.

The wee nation where i come from guys like Dirk are not known but guys like Kobe and Lebron are indeed known by lots of people.

Any suggestions on a team to support, so I can get attached in the career mode. I've taken a liking to Orlando and the Knicks, but not sure. Preferably someone not too good, but not too shit as well. My knowledge of Basketball doesn't really go beyond the Magic, Knicks Lakers, Celtics and Heat.

Mavericks are a good team to support. No real star's but deeper than the mariana trench.

They play a shooting style of basketball without a lot of dunkers and have great experienced players.

Shawn Marion, Jason terry, J-Kidd, Dirk Nowitzki, Caron Butler, Peja Stojakovic and so on.

And it also helps that i watch all their games during their season.

And also two of the meanest short PG's in the league in JJ Barea and Roddy Beaubois.

Black has triple battles but less than in white.

Black has more ''rotation battles''.

A rotation battle you send out 3 pokemon but only the one in the middle can attack. The catch is that you can freely switch to the other 2 without it costing it a turn.

As a rule of thumb.

White has more triple battles than Black

Black has more Rotation battles than White.

Me thinks personally that White is more strength friendly with the triple battles and being able for all 3 of them to attack the same turn.

And Black is more tactics friendly being able to place a support pokemon's in your team of 3 in combination to lets say a sweeper.

Ugh i wish i could get The Show.

The last time i played The Show was 08 on the PS2 and i was totally hooked on the game for months. Played RTTS till my eyes where sore and i loved every minute of it.

But i am not interesting on paying the price for 11 on PS2 but i don't have a PS3.

2k11 on the other hand is a way to satiate my hunger for baseball but the fact that it lacks RTTS. I am (pretty) sure that 2K also has a RTTS style mode seeing that they did the same thing in NBA, but it will probably not be as good as The Show.

One of the games that annoys me for the fact that i have a 360 instead of a PS3.

This poll must be broken, because i see a disturbing lack of IV in that list.

IV is obviously the best Final Fantasy ever made. Some awesome SNES memories there.

Well, just too many mistakes while Green Bay made way fewer. It sucks but that's just the way it goes. Congrats to any actual Green Bay fans on here.
