I had a game that was closer than I would like with Tulsa. It's good to see that I can go on the road and beat teams that are rated nearly a grade higher than me though. I gave a reception or two to all of my top receivers and ran the ball down their throats.

I hear ya on it feeling good to know you can beat better teams. I beat 2 teams that were much better than me this year so I am happy. This is the most fun season so far for me and we are only 2 games in. Hope I can keep this up into the MAC season.

After the North Carolina game I was riding some momentum going into my 2nd game of the year against Indiana. They have an A- offense while I have a D- defense. YIKES!

So I began the game with the lead again but my only stud player got hurt. They got the lead in the 3rd guarter by more than 2 scores. In the 4th quarter I put up 26 points though.

So with 2 minutes 20 seconds left I scored a fg to bring me within 7 points of tieing. Then they scored though with a minute 38 left to give them 41 total points to my weak 27 points.

With the pressure on to score quick I manage to get down and score with 58 seconds left on 3 plays. Used up all my time outs though. I kick the onside kick and they can't cover up. It bounces off a players leg and we recover! I manage to get down to the 10 yard line and out of bounds. Next play INTERCEPTION with 12 seconds on the clock. We go to tackle him and they FUMBLE and we recover it on the 5 yard line!!!!!!!!

Next play TOUCHDOWN on a POWER run!

Now not feeling confident I can win in an OT shootout I decided to go for 2 and leave it all out there. I managed to audible from a pass play to a power run and GOT IT!!!!

With 2 seconds left I squibbed it and won the game. Another good game against a much better opponent. Loving this season and I already have half the wins I had last season without being in the MAC season yet.

Probably a long shot but anyone think there's enough time for them to colour Brodus's attire red, give him a dancey entrance and give him Somebody Call My Momma as an entrance theme?

No chance in hell. Once you download him, you can color his attire red, give him Mark Henry's entrance, and give him that theme (considering it was released on iTunes the day after his redebut).

Marcus Stephenson mentioned that the Brodus that'll be released for WWE '12 is "what they thought he was going to be" or something like that.

Its probably based on his NXT appearances from before with the hype video they used before his debut. Nothing funky about him in WWE 12.

Brodus Clay is going to dominate my WWE. Batista is going to wreck HHH when he returns to the WWE. Randy Savage and Steamboat will recreate their feud. Can't wait for this.

Eastern Michigan marched into Chapel Hill and upset the #15 North Carolina Tarheels.

After the Tarheels did nothing with the opening drive of the game. EMU came out on the 1st drive and drove down the field to score. EMU held the lead most of the game in this field goal battle.

In the middle of the 4th quarter EMU missed a field goal. NC went down and got the lead with under a minute left.

The Eagles somehow dug deep though and got into field goal range. They hit the game winning field goal with 3 seconds left. The celebration went on in downtown Ypsilanti on EMU campus all night long into the morning.

I'm really shocked that I could do it but I pulled it off somehow. Even was gashed by the QB running a few times.

It's official I have dropped down to a 1 star program again after being a 2 star last year. I can really tell in the quality of recruits interested too. 2 star recruits are some of my best options. This dynasty is getting really scary for me right now. May be digging a hole that I will never be able to crawl out of. Wish me luck fellas.

I moved up to a 3 star program, but don't think much has changed. I might have just had a really good class last season (Top 20 I believe). Too bad that all my recruits are starting around 65 overall so most of the teams in my conference still have more talent than I do.

Found out I have the lowest approval rating in our dynasty at 12% too. Hope I can pull off a nice 10 win season somehow. If I get fired from Eastern will it allow me to get a coordinator job somewhere? Or will I need to retire and rejoin the dynasty?

It just seems to happen if you get multiple body parts in "red" damage - that tends to lead to the cut-scene of the wrestler being stretchered out, in any case.

Getting increasingly annoyed by my inability to unlock Goldust. I've played as - and won as - Cody Rhodes countless times, and never had the cutscene with Goldust showing up, so he's not unlocked. He's popped up in Universe several times, though, and was actually a mystery opponent twice in one week, just to rub salt in the wound.

Universe is increasingly mental, though - Kevin Nash's ridiculous title reign came to an end after he successfully defended the title against John Cena, only for Money In The Bank winner Frightmare to cash in his contract and pick up the title. Frightmare lost to Cena the following night in a non-title match, and fought Jigsaw in the main event the following week - following interference from Ultramantis Black. At Summerslam, he successfully defended the title in a Scramble match with John Cena, Jack Swagger, Kevin Nash and The Miz. On Smackdown, William Regal, Beth Phoenix and Cody Rhodes - as the Roundtable - currently hold the World, European, Divas, Intercontinental and WCW Titles, and Regal is number one contender for Cody's IC Title, and Regal & Cody are number one contenders for the Tag Team Titles.

Your UNIVERSE mode sounds like madness. If it seems to get a little loopy I tend to start fully customizing my shows. I skip Superstars a lot.

How do you know if you hurt someone?

I set a match between Big Show and Michael Cole. I beat him up for 15 minutes. Hit both finishers 3 times outside of the ring. Put him thru the announce table and beat him with chairs to retain the hardcore title. Not sure if I injured him.

Did the same thing with Jim Ross except I had CAW Scott Hall beat him up.

I'd like to play Indiana, North Carolina, and Connecticut.

I will do it tonight. You can advance it tomorrow morning. If I haven't done it just advance it tomorrow afternoon regardless. Cool?

I am going to try and injure Michael Cole, JR, and Jerry Lawler. Get them out of matches on Superstars.

Kharma needs to injure some of these dang barbies too!

I am really excited for another season as EMU head coach! Can't wait to get things rolling with the Eagles. Hopefully I have a good season and get to a bowl game.

Into recruiting now. I'll be simming every night to advance through a week of recruiting. I also wouldn't be opposed to just simming through the whole thing at once if that is what everyone wants.

I'd like to do mine but Saturday is the last time I will be able to get on. Sunday I am leaving for Arizona until New Years Eve.

If I had a decent year it wouldn't matter as much but I had a terrible season. I had a FB at HB because nobody else could hang onto the ball all year. My best 3 WRs graduate, and my D is super slow still. I need to get some good recruits.

I will handle it when I get home in about an hour. So in about an hour and a half you can advance again if you would like.

I ended up with only 4 wins this season. Had a good 1st season and a terrible 2nd season. Hopefully I can turn things around next season.

I'm about to give up on this game, it's nothing but Famas users and Snipers. It gets really annoying when you're just looking for a good TD.

If it makes you that mad then kill them 1st. Either run around with the FAMAS or Snipe the snipers before they get you.

It was fun playing against you and in the same conference Trey. Maybe next year we can go at it again.

Maybe I can finally have a shot at winning the conference.

I played my game but it kept freezing forcing me to restart. It did allow me to figure out some passing plays that worked well though.

Next season will be my season for sure!

So is WWE 12 another WWE game that gets played for a week or 2 and then just sits on the shelf until the next one comes out?

I've been experimenting with playbooks and I made the mistake of trying Oregons playbook which is the opposite of what EMU's roster is built for.

EMU runs a lot of 3 and 4 TE sets.

Oregon runs a lot of 3, 4, and 5 WR sets.

I am determined to find a decent playbook for EMU that I like. Currently the playbook doesn't suit my strengths as well as my teams.

Positive is that I won again but it was a tough game that I had no right winning.

Just moved to week 9. WMU survives 14-13 over Eastern Michigan. Looking to advance Sunday night.

Wow looks like it was a close game! Wouldn't have been that close if I played so I am happy with those results.

To me it's fine either way. Not sure if my team can keep up with his anyways. CPU may play him better than I can. Whatever he decides I am up for.
