No guarentee that's the end of it though. I mean you're right, it's peanuts to Mikel but who's to say they would give his dad back?
Plus, if you were the kidnapper and you knew who he was, wouldn't you demand more that what is essentially a weeks wages?

How silly of me

Jack Butland
No but seriously, what year are you in Summ? Butland should be good enough from about Season 3 I reckon. If not him, definitely Forster.

To be fair Arshavin saves his goals up for when he plays against Liverpool...
Exactly
What about the other 36 league games?
-
And Arshavin? Really? Oh dear.
-
Great strike from Cahill. And I agree with Dowd's decision to keep Richardson on the pitch, Suarez was going far away from goal.

Well deserved, and as soon as De Gea can settle in, I think we're sorted. Some of the attacking play today was the best I've seen in a Utd side. The defending was okay, set pieces look as if they could hurt us this year though. Bit worrying but happy that we've shown just what we're made of this early in the season. Young, Nani, Welbeck, Cleverley, Smalling were excellent, so many good performances out there today. De Gea recovered well and made a couple of decent saves that should help him.

Rafael came on and just kept the armband
-
Not sure how Valencia can get on the wings with Nani and Young in this form.
-
What a goal. Where's Matt gone? Hung himself perhaps?
-
It's hardly a weakened defence though is it with Jones and Evans coming on.
-
I think it's a tad harsh blaming De Gea for the second goal. That ball doesn't half move in the final few meteres, plus it's hit so hard. I think any keeper would've struggled to get enough on it to get it wide of the post. He'd have needed such a big touch on it to get it wide with that much power in the shot.
However, I do think he maybe could've come for the first and tried to get something on it. He did come out very well to the back post and collect a corner early on in arguably trickier situations.

Try running the game as Administrator, it sometimes helps with things like this.

I believe Kasper is the far superior keeper, that's all.
The Kasper that pulls off wondersaves but is frequently beaten at his near post, is poor at collecting crosses and only communicates with his defence when he's screaming at them after a goal's been conceded. Lonergan won't be as good of a shot-stopper, but he should be a better all-round goalie.
edit: remember Lonergan won Preston's POTY twice prior to last season when they were challenging for playoffs.
No the Kasper who saved you guys in at least three live games on the television last season. And you're replacing him with a keeper who was relegated last season.

Colin is brilliant, fuck you all. Much rather him than half of the boring twats that are managing in the PL.
Oh and we've signed Lonergan from PNE. Hopefully he'll be an improvement on Kasper, we'll see.
Shouldn't count on it.

Shane McMahon is there again!
I've never been so happy to see one man win a Major Championship. Congratulations Darren Clarke.
-
Surely this is Darren's now? I know Thomas lost a three shot lead eight years ago, but I can't see it happening again.

O'Shea should be used to it, being Irish.
So should Brown

Am I not the only one who thinks that Norwich could do with looking at getting some defenders in aswell as a goalkeeper? I saw a lot of them last season and thought that Ruddy was their weak link for much of the campaign.

Haye's toe is fucked. No excuse but it is fucked.
-
Lot of money for such a young keeper but if he does do well he could be with us for about fifteen years.
-
Main Clubs: Man City, Notts County, Leeds, Leicester
Plus loan spells at: Falkirk, Bury, Coventry, Cardiff, Darlington
All before turning 25. Some going.

What a match so far. Del Potro with three set points.

Anyone wanna explain what's going on? Can't watch Sky at the minute and BBC Sport don't make it easy to find out what's happening outside of England.
