  1. He was no where near as bad as Nani was, and he played alright against Fulham The Distribution Potential is in unparrallelled levels. Also we have Rafael and Valencia down the right side, that's how we destroyed defences last season.
  2. I'd Take Welbeck on the wing over Nani after his performance against Everton. No clue why De Gea isn't playing.
  3. You know how bad Gerrard's been today when Jamie Carragher is criticizes his performance.
  4. If there's at least 4 minutes of injury time, you know how it's going to end.
  5. as with every nani corner it never made it past t' 1st man.
  6. 1. City 2. United 3. Arsenal 4. Liverpool 5. Tottenham 6. Chelsea United, Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool are all in Transition so I doubt United are going to win this year. Wenger has got his team into CL spots time and time again even when losing players and not spending money, sign of a quality Manager. City got the quality, the depth and the bank balance to win.
  7. Wenger's consistently gotten Arsenal into Champions League season-after-season, even with weaker arsenal teams than this.
  8. Does this mean John Laurinitis uses EWR to scout?
  9. True, Fergie I guess is just building Hernandez and Welbeck by giving them 1st team experience, because they are the future. Berbs has won his trophies, probs will go for like 2mil and a wage cut. Tottenham would be a great choice, team in transition, a veteran to coach new strikers for the club and solid 1st team choice.
  10. Everything I see about Berbatov leaving United (Galatasaray, PSG so far) seems to fall through, I could see him still being at United in September. A real shame as I felt he was a better partner to Hernandez than Rooney and when he was allowed to play he showed that he was capable of being a first team player.
  11. Agreed, showed some of his best form for a few years towards the end of last season. Hopefully we won't need to rely on him as much this season but he'll have a huge part to play in the first team. Same with Giggs and Scholes. If they all can play between 25-30 games then I think we'll get the best out of them. He sure is quality, although from a United stand-point I always find myself worrying that he's too slow when someone is running at him with pace. He generally executes an awesome tackle at the right time, but it's certainly catching up with him. If you can rotate him in and out, that's probably the best thing to do with him. He's quite clearly a first-teamer, but I'd hope Jones (if he plays at CB, I'd rather a CDM position for him, but whatever.) and Smalling and someone who I'm probably forgetting can get themselves playing consistently in the first team. Totally no England bias here whatsoever though. I thought that was Evans role, to do all of Rios legwork. Also, last season Jones proved to be good, but can't last a full season. Haven't seen any Pre-Season so don't know how good Vidic is at the moment. Smalling is solid.
