  1. THE CHAMP, IS HERE! And that means Baby Hewey's awesome WWF '96-'97 diary. Man, You still are my idol for a few reasons; You've played this game for over a year and a half soon, And you've made it an universe totally of your own. While Austin and Maivia clearly are starting to pick up some spotlight, Guys like Hall, Nash, Michaels, Undertaker, the Harts and Mr. Perfect are still kept in the big leagues. As a matter of fact, I hope you'll keep it this way. On my behalf, I did not like Austin becoming "Stone Cold". A scenario is a chance to be creative, I just wished you'd come up with a different name like... Well, Perhaps calling him "Stone Cold" wasn't such a bad idea afterall :D

You have the heel and face divisions blended so well, That in '98 you might even be able to go the complete opposite direction that what the WWF did, Even with the same superstars. Imagine; Stone Cold and The Rock as a heel tag team. Face Michaels and heel Bret. The Hart Brothers FINALLY fighting on the same side (And this is presuming that Owen won't turn face, Which I don't want to happen!). It would be very interesting to read I tell you.

What else do we have... Yeah, Kudos to 'ya for that end-of-the-month report. Gives some good minor details and a great "all-in-all" thoughts about the past month. Just don't make it too easy for yourself - Releasing Sid is what I'm talking about. What's next, Chris Benoit gets pushed to the moon in '97? :ohwell:

I just hope you'll go Baby Hewey way, Not the WWF Attitude way. Do your own kinda things, That's what I love about this diary.

  2. These would be for a WWF 2002 game of mine, I'd like to have these on the Kody background...

    -Kurt Angle (WITH HAIR!!!)

-An "older" pic of Chris Jericho (Like something from 2000-2003)

-Kane (With the old mask before the original draft)

    -The Rock

    -Undertaker (American Badass)

-Ric Flair (In a suit, If possible)

    -Booker T

    -Big Show (With hair)

    -William Regal

Of course, I'll appreciate anything I get very very much. So please, If you have time... The first six are the most important . Please, You'd make my game even more fun (Y)

  3. I'm looking forward to this movie. A LOT. I saw the first Spiderman movie on big screen and I downloaded Spidey 2 to my computer. I'm not a huge fan of the comics, But I like the cartoon TV series (What? :D ) and the Marvel video games. So, To the point...

They NEED Venom. They HAVE to feature Venom in this movie. I mean, It doesn't have to be "the" Venom yet, It could be just Eddie Brock in some smaller role, But I mean SOMETHING. Venom is easily my favourite villain in the Marvel universe (Wolwerine being the favourite good guy). Now since I live here in Finland (By the way, If you watch Conan O'Brien... The pictures from the country are VERY realistic), I don't really know that much who should play Brock. Somebody said Jim Carrey. I digged his character at "The Grinch", And he if somebody could pull off Venom's awesome moves. Like the big tongue.

  4. Well, You LK. are perhaps my favourite diary writer currently here on EWB, Right up there with reversefigure4 and Baby Hewey. I also probably will soon start a diary on another board about an aspect like this - The roster split 2002 - So, I am excited about this.

Interesting to see a few changes in tha roster, Compared to what the WWF did IRL. Monday Night Raw was really good, It seemed like a "real" WWF broadcast, But on the other hand it also had some twists of it's own. I can't wait to see what you do with SmackDown - And just how drunk will Vinnie Mac be of power?

Keep this thing up. And I hope you'll continue your ECW diaries too. They are good.

  5. It is definitely lookin' good thus far. LK., I've read your diaries for quite a long time (When looked into the ECW 2001- topic, You CAN find few replies from me :D ) and this is EXACTLY what you are capable of, Just when you're writing about something you really like. And apparently for you it's ECW. I mean, You must have watched it alot since you can portray all the characters like that.

Cyrus promo was awesome. As a matter of fact, The whole show had a feeling that anything can happen. Well, Might be due to the fact that i read it from the beginning to the end, But still! Awesome vs. Masato was... Uhh... AWESOME, But i still have to say; Especially now when the brand is now under the WWE umbrella, Is the A.B from the top of ladders thru' a table something seen on TV? God I hope something as 'extreme' as this doesn't happen every week on "ECW on The Network" - That would just plain spoil the fun.

RVD as a heel is awesome. He's like WAAAAAYYYY better than as a Mr. nice guy babyface. And if i'd see that Van Daminator on TV IRL, I'd hell yeah tune in next week.

BTW, You're holding Pay-Per-View's monthly (After Wrestlepalooza too) or not?

  7. It's awesome, pure awesome. It's so much, much better compared to the disappointment that the original SvR last year was.

I'm right now playing the Season mode as my self-created guy called "Strong Style" Jeremy Cruel. The voice-overs sucked last year, this year they're pure gold. I couldn't do but laugh as Cena and Torrie chatted about something. Then my guy came in as well as did RVD, who started off with "Whoa, dude, chill." They really don't sound like they'd have a bucket on their head and be in half sleep - unlike last year. It's also cool that your created guy also has a real voice now - and you can even decide who you'll be friends with (if i recall right, the last year's season was completely linearistic).

I've also driven SmackDown! to a mud hole in the GM mode. I think it rocks, the WWE news and the trades between the brands really add the excitement that it needs. Shame, though - John Cena is my top draw and his popularity is 81% :ohwell:

I've tried to do Monty Brown with the CAW mode. Blah, it (the creation) sucked.

The locker room customition - i dig it too. Call me weird, but sometimes i keep PS2 on and let the mode be in the locker room - i read a magazine for like 30 minutes and then i'm like "Well, time to fight!".

JBL is a goddamittt slimeball. I lost Torrie's contract due to him.

  8. They are a good band, and i'm glad that they're here from Finland. At least something to be proud of, besides HIM. I went to their concert a few months ago and it was awesome. Tarja really knows how to sing. The whole combination of musical and vocal talents works well together.

Kuolema Tekee Tateilijan? Or was it a special un-recorded song just for the hell of it? Because KTT is the awesomestest song that I can't understand a word of evar

    -Al Snow vs. Steve Austin

    -Alex Wright vs. Ahmed Johnson

    6. Will anyone debut? And if so, Who's debuting?

    -Nope.

    7. Who's joining The Money Mine?

    -No idea.

    8. Who will be the new Commissioner?

    -Todd Pettingil.

    9. Who's going to be Goldust's mystery partner?

    -Let's say Hollywood Holly.

  10. Firstly alldawson, i'm really glad that you decided to stick with this one and not start the 'WCW 2005' project, or whatever it would have been. You have such interesting storylines going on here that it would have been a true shame to just have seen you quit writing this.

Then, heel Chris Benoit. Now that's a brilliant idea. Even though he is quite good as a face in form of tough, everlasting warrior, as a heel i prefer him even better. He can be more... aggressive. And who knows, maybe "The Rabid Wolwerine" is the guy to finally defeat Batista, and re-capture the World Heavyweight Championship that he so rightfully deserves. On the other hand, i can't see Batista losing the title at Unforgiven after winning it at WrestleMania 21. Survivor Series would be the best option... well, time will tell.

Interesting storylines with the Intercontinental title, by the way.

In the SmackDown! side, in the blue side, things are at least just as good. Shawn Michaels... oh boy, the Heartbreak Kid brings so much excitement to that brand! The Rock, nice to see him back. John Cena as still the champion is also a very good decision, but i think that at No Mercy we'll get a new champion. Hopefully it's Eddie or Captain Charisma.

Very realistic booking in both brands, and still something innovative, something of your own. Skipper is also a nice addition to the WWE, hopefully he'll capture the Cruiserweight Title before the end of '05.

All in all, very good package. I'll keep reading! :)

  12. I red it yesterday, it was quite good. And it did surprise me. I actually thought Snape was a good guy since Dumbledore trusted him, but no. Well, maybe he did it only because his sister and Voldemort asked him to. IF Albus really trusted Severus, there had to be a better reason than just "Oh yeah he used to be a Death Eater but he's all better now and welcome to teach in my school". He must be good afterall. I just know, he isn't bad. But, i still have not recovered totally from the shock that Dumbsy is now out. Done. Finito. I thought Draco Malfoy was going to die when Harry did that Sectumsepra (or whatever it was!) on him.

    1. Half-Blood Prince

    2. Goblet Of Fire

    3. Prisoner Of Azkaban

    4. Chamber Of Secrets

    5. Order Of The Phoenix

    6. Philosopher's Stone

This was my second Harry Potter book that i red in english (as i've told i'm from Finland and i've bought the first four in the versions of my own language) And yes, i think it was the best of the Potters thus far. It was just so cool, the Dark Mark above the school, and all the biggest action was still saved to the end of the book. I hope Rowling can make the seventh the best. And HBP really was good after the dissapointment that Order Of The Phoenix was.

  13. I'm liking it. The storylines are interesting and the action is good quality. The matches are just as long as they need to be and your writing style is good, no wonder you're receiving quite a lot of feedback. It's also nice to see that you push guys like Benoit and Guerrero; IMO they IRL should had been in the World title picture, even though it was WCW and not ECW. On the other hand, it ain't realistic. But to hell with realism.

Interesting to see where the Hogan - Sting- situation evolves. Maybe Sting just turns heel, or... maybe it's the Hulkster? Cole, are you planning to bring the nWo to the scene in this diary too?

Keep it up, it's pretty good (Y)

  14. Oooohhh, Paidy (Paulie? They sound a lot a like!), you're MEAN! Don't you have feelings? How can you... well, i don't care about Elite Wrestling Revolution (EWR, what a stupid name :pervert: ) either. But i think hiring at least Teddy Hart would work, you know. He's talented - could he make it in 2005's ECW?

Heatwave card looks good thus far. Rhyno vs. Corino should rock this country, they are both one of the 'Gods' of ECW so to speak. I think Rhino is gonna retain the title. And i think it's Raven who's chasing Rhyno.

Kanyon? Umm... well, i don't like it. Sure, the guy was a non-wrestler already and has a nice charisma level, but i don't like him. I wished it would have been somebody like New Jack, Sabu or Sandman, you know... somebody who everybody could have remembered from the original ECW days...

My last reply was in the beginning of the previous page, if i remember correctly. Whatever, THIS still looks good! (Y)

  15. What the hell?

Well no, this is a really good thing! It's nice to have this back, it just ended like into a brick wall. Like you apparently say, good things never come to an end. This isn't allowed to end. It's just so damn good, and it's good that you continue with this baby, instead of posting a new story about TNA.

And whoo, a NEW narrator. Who can it be? Davey Boy Smith? Curt Henning? CRASH HOLLY? :P

Good luck with this, now as it's back in da bussiness. I'll be reading and giving ya' feedback (Y)

  16. Date: July 10th

    Uprising Preview

    Final Card

    Arena: ECW Arena

    Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Cage Match [ECW World Heavyweight Title]

Rob Van Dam .v. Steve Corino .v. Rhyno .v. Matt Hardy .v. Tajiri .v. Chris Jericho

    Television Title

    Justin Credible vs. Nova

    Table Match [Tag Team Titles]

Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley vs. Doring and Roadkill

    Sean O’Haire vs. Rey Mysterio

    Billy Kidman vs. Spanky

    Paul London vs. Frankie Kazarian

-Who is the new ECW commissioner? - It could be... Sandman?

-Who is the Impact Players’ debut? - Frankie Kazarian.

-Who is the other big surprise that Heyman is gloating about? - I think it's Tommy Dreamer

-Which roster member has entered rehab? - I doubt it's Sean O'Haire.

  17. I'm loving it. Jericho and Hardy jumping the ship was very cool, even though they never pretty much appeared in ECW (except Chris in... '95?), they fit in.

I don't care if the backstory has it's holes. It's supposed to be fun. The 'backstage segments' are great, i was hoping there would have been one now too, but i guess you're gonna do them again soon. Right? I mean, Heyman is great, i could imagine him doing those things you're writing.

Uprising looks solid. Especially the Main Event promises to be something just unique, and the competitors rock. They all fit in, except that "ECW Rules" sounds stupid. I don't get it. The federation is ECW, so i think it should be pretty obvious that there are the ECW rules? :P

Keep it up, i promise to predict the PPV card.

  18. Looking just rock solid, man!

I kinda expected Jeff Jarrett to win AJ Styles - after all, Slammiversary is the next Pay-Per-View and of course Double J's gonna lose it there. This was the right decision, althought i'd like to see a rematch at Slammiversary. But on the other hand, the story of the World Championship would have been like far more interesting if AJ would have won. Well, it's your game and you're doing it for your own fun (right? :P ), so it's your decisions too. I hope you can make something working.

Great to see Fallen Angel's reign continuing. He deserves the X Division title, and he would had deserved it from the day one.

Wow, Sting retires?!? Didn't see that coming. I was hoping it would had been DDP, but oh well...

The matches are greatly written and the class of them is very high. I personally think this is the best TNA diary at the board right now. The graphics are great, and the whole package is good. All in all, keep it up and keep it good

  19. It's over?

I've read this since Turning Point came out, and i go to the record by saying that i loved this a hell lot. Somewhy, i never replied, never predicted Final Resolution's results or even told anywhere that i love this thing.

Wow, Owen Hart? Didn't see that coming. The ending was a bit stupid as it came so quickly, but i believe you; i guess it would have made sense if you would had continue this more. I really wanted to see you post Against All Odds. The Handicap match extravaganza sounded very cool.

This also was very realistic. I mean, it was like the real TNA, but it was more fun to watch. I would have wanted to be at Final Resolution, it was a lot better here than in reality. Somewhy, Jeff Jarrett always being the champion in here didn't harm me so much. This had the magic that all of the diaries should have. I just don't understand why you didn't quit this to 'Resolution? Why do one more Impact! spoilers? Why did you even quit this? I don't get it, i thought everything was fine.

What ever the reasons and the answers are, i just wanted to say even once that you always had me reading this. Good luck for your next venture, man! :)
