Patterson: “I am Mike Patterson and I’m joined by the excitable Brian Guppie on commentary and he is right about this show tonight. It’s going to be a good one.”

Guppie: “Ricky Marvin loves to use the hurrincanranna and he caught Kim with a great one there to finish the match.”

Patterson: “Marvin can hit the ‘ranna from anywhere and he will do it. Kim had an explosion there at the end of the match but Marvin stayed calm and got the win.”

Guppie: “After the commercial break we have a huge six man tag as the Prime Time team of Puma, Ricky Reyes and B-Boy take on the Gertner Associates composed of the tag team champion Backseat Boys and Brandon Thomaselli.”

Patterson: “Six great wrestlers are getting into this ring tonight and each team has a great tag team on their side. Both teams are going to be hard pressed to win this match, that’s for sure.”

    Segment 2: Prime Time Baby!

Elix Skipper is in the locker room with the SMWA Championship belt around his waist and he has Puma, Reyes and B-Boy by his side.

Skipper: “Last night I put Petey Williams down. I destroyed his ribs and when I locked in that abdominal stretch he had no choice but to tap out. Of course that injury might have something to do with the number Reyes did on his ribs with the chair but who knows for sure? Tonight, Prime Time is going to get business done. These three men with me are going to get in the ring with Joel Gertner’s boys and only one team will be walking out under their own power and I guarantee that it is going to be Prime Time coming out on top. Sure the Backseat Boys have the tag belts right now and they beat the Pitbulls last night but their time has come. Tonight those two and Brandon are going to be left lying in a pool of their own blood. I’ve said it before and it’s still true. Prime Time is running the SMWA and tonight we are going to beat that into some people’s heads.”

    OA: 80

We come back to the show and Brandon pushes himself up to his feet then drops down with a jaw breaker. Brandon starts crawling to his corner but Reyes grabs his ankle. Brandon gets up on his other foot and nails Reyes with an enziguri then rolls forward and tags in Acid and Kashmere at the same time. Acid comes in and blasts Reyes with a brutal yakuza kick. Guppie: “Prime Time gets a win over the Gertner Associates and the Pitbulls get some revenge for losing to the Backseat Boys last night.”

Patterson: “The Prime Time did a good job of working over the neck of Brandon throughout the match and it let them get the win after Puma planted him with a tombstone piledriver.”

Guppie: “Last night at It’s Prime Time, Nate Mattson made his return to the SMWA and he laid out Jimmy Rave before his match and then beat Paul London in a brutal street fight. Mattson laid out a challenge to Rave here tonight and Rave has accepted.”

Patterson: “Rave is coming in with an injured neck after Mattson delivered that piledriver on the chair, however Mattson and London fought a brutal match which saw both men take a lot of punishment. Neither one of these men is at one hundred percent. However Mattson is coming in to make an impression and he’s determined to get wins.”

    Segment 4: Closing the Deal

Nate Mattson comes out from the back to boos from the crowd. Mattson just ignores them and jumps onto the apron then goes through the ropes into the ring and takes the mic from the announcer.

Mattson: “Jimmy Rave, last night I planted you on your head with a piledriver on a chair. I offered a challenge for you to come out for the main event of Rage and face me one-on-one in a street fight. I told you to come on out here if you wanted some revenge. I know you didn’t see what I did to London after I knocked you out, but believe me, he regrets stepping into the ring with me. He gave me a few good shots but I put him through a table with a brainbuster from the apron. You thought the piledriver was bad? That was nothing compared to what I have done and what I’m going to do to you tonight. The Exile is back and havoc will rule the SMWA!”

A fan hands Rave a chair and he delivers a stiff shot over the top of Mattson’s head. Rave pulls Mattson back up to his feet and fires off more punches to the bleeding forehead of Mattson. Rave grabs Mattson by the back of his shorts and throws him into the vacated chairs. Mattson drags himself up to his knees using a chair. Rave comes over towards him and Mattson drives a chair into his midsection. Mattson gets to his feet and drives the chair down across the back of Rave sending him down to the floor. Both men are slow to get to their feet and they go toe to toe and start trading stiff forearm shots back and forth. Rave starts to back Mattson up and Mattson cuts him off with a rake of the eyes. Mattson follows up by driving a knee into his midsection then takes him over with a gut wrench suplex. Mattson slides out of the ring and grabs four chairs and throws them into the ring. Mattson slides into the ring and Rave stomps him on the side of the head. Rave grabs one of the chairs and slams it down across his back. Mattson grabs the four chairs he threw into the ring and sets them all up facing each other creating a chair coffin. Rave lifts Mattson up setting him on the top rope. Rave climbs up to the top rope and jumps onto Mattson for a hurrincanranna but Mattson holds him up. Mattson pulls Rave up as he stands up on the second rope. Mattson jumps off the ropes and slams Rave down onto the chair coffin with a hard powerbomb. Mattson throws the chairs out of the way as he makes a cover on Rave and gets a three count.

    Winner: N8 Mattson (12:27)

    OA: 70 CR: 68 MQ: 73

Guppie: “Nate Mattson just destroyed Rave with a top rope powerbomb onto a bunch of chairs! That was sickening!”

Patterson: “I thought Mattson knew no limits last time he was here but he has gone over the edge on his return. That powerbomb was one of the most brutal things I’ve ever seen in a wrestling ring.”

Guppie: “The paramedics are tending to Rave and hopefully he’ll be okay. For Mike Patterson, I’m Brian Guppie thanks for watching.”

Patterson: “Remember to check out smwawrestling.com for info on upcoming shows and updates on your favorite or least favorite wrestlers.”

  3. Your lack of ability to follow basic grammar or spelling rules leaves me in doubt that you can actually write something that doesn't suck let alone something that is good.

Let's just say it's a bad sign that you put the wrong word in your first post. It should be foreword not forward. Then half of your contractions don't have apostrophes in them. You have phrases that make no sense and the dialogue of your characters is weak.

I don't care if you talked to Dukes or God himself and he said you could go ahead and write it you can't write well enough to carry a story. Good luck on learning to write.

I'm not going to fill your diary with posts on this so I'll just edit in my response to you.

I am not being a dick I am telling the truth. What made BVS so good was that Dukes knows how to write. The story is a good idea and interesting but without quality writing it's going to suck. You have taken an already established idea, which I don't have a problem with, and tried to run with it.

To make this diary work you have to write everything well. So far you aren't doing a very good job. And that was my nice response. If I wanted to be a dick I would have highlighted all of the mistakes you made in your diary. I've responded in other people's diaries and told them about their bad grammar and they didn't act like a bitch and their writing ability wasn't as important to their diaries as it is in yours. Don't be a fucker because you don't like what I have to say. Flaming is when you just berate another poster. I can backup every statement I made about this diary. It's not flaming it's criticism and if you can't take it tough shit.

    Notes: *1/4

    OA: 57 CR: 38 MQ: 76

Guppie: “Brandon Thomaselli gets the win in this three way with the air raid crash.”

Patterson: “Brandon managed to get the pin while Rios was out of the ring and couldn’t make the save. That’s hard to do in a triple threat match. Rios was looking good early in the match but he was taken out and Brandon capitalized.”

Guppie: “Up next Brandon’s brother, Vito, makes his return to the SMWA and he takes on B-Boy. These guys have had some battles here in the past.”

Patterson: “They sure have. These two guys put it all on the line in the ring. B-Boy is going to lay into Vito with strikes but Vito is going to fire right back and go toe to toe with him.”

Guppie: “The Backseat Boyz win an incredible tag team match against the Havana Pitbulls to retain the tag team titles.”

Patterson: “Reyes and Puma are excellent wrestlers but the Backseat Boyz work as a team so well. They know what each other wants to do and how the other wrestles. That is what makes them such dominant champions.”

Guppie: “Our next match is going to be a showcase as Paul London takes on Jimmy Rave. Originally Halo was going to take on Rave but he suffered a broken leg while training and London is being brought in as a replacement.”

Patterson: “London didn’t have much notice about this match but he’s a great athlete and he’s going to be ready for a fight.”

Segment 6: The Exile is Here

Jimmy Rave bursts out from backstage to cheers from the crowd. He starts walking down giving fives to the fans but a masked man runs out from the back and clobbers Rave in the back with a chairshot. The man sets up the chair then grabs Rave and picks him up and spikes him with a piledriver on the chair breaking it and sending both men down to the floor. The masked man gets to his feet and slides into the ring. He grabs the mask and pulls it off revealing himself to be N8 Mattson! Mattson gets boos from the crowd as he takes the mic from the announcer.

Mattson: “You fans thought I had left the SMWA for good. I didn’t leave though. I was driven out of this promotion. The wrestlers in the back and the management ran me out of this place. Do you know why? Because I was too good. When I won the SMWA Championship the first time I set the record for the longest title reign. I was on an unprecedented undefeated streak. I ran over everybody in the SMWA and brutalized anybody who got in my way. I eventually lost the belt but I didn’t give up. I came back and I kept on fighting and I won the belt again. I ran over the challengers until Jimmy Rave stepped up and won the belt from me. That’s right the man I just left in a heap on the floor took the belt from me. That’s why I put him down here tonight. Tomorrow I don’t have anything to do though and if he wants to show up at the tapings for Rage and go one on one with me that is fine with me.

“I wanted to take his place tonight because I wanted to prove that I am still the best wrestler in the SMWA. I wanted to prove that by beating Halo, the man who held the championship as long as I had but he injured himself. It’s a damn good thing he did or I would have killed him here tonight. Instead I take on Paul London. Paul has drifted through the SMWA but never stayed for long. He is a man who has proven his skills in Japan and in the WWE and tonight I want to face him one on one. This fight isn’t as personal to me as beating Halo but I will fight Paul and I will prove that I am better than him. However when you get in the ring with the Exile there are no rules. I played by the rules of the SMWA before and they ran me out of this place. I’m back now and I’m not going to follow their bullshit rules! I won’t let them tell me what to do this time! Paul if you have the guts to come out here and face me this is going to be a fight. This isn’t going to be a match. There are no rules and there are no restrictions. If you come out here Paul you are going to be putting your body on the line. So if you have the balls to accept my challenge come on out!”

As Mattson delivers his diatribe paramedics come out and help Rave to the back. As Mattson drops the mic “Battle Without Honor or Humanity” starts playing over the speakers and Paul London runs out from the back and slides into the ring as the crowd cheers.

    OA: 61

Guppie: “Nate Mattson has revealed himself to be the Exile and he has taken Jimmy Rave out. Now he is taking Rave’s place and he’s going to face Paul London one on one.”

Patterson: “This isn’t the match we were expecting but it should be a good one. Mattson said there are no rules in this match. London isn’t a hardcore wrestler but he has been involved in some street fights and he knows how to get things done in that type of environment.”

Guppie: “What a brutal match between those two men! They used tables, ladders and chairs to beat each other senseless.”

Patterson: “Did they ever. I thought Mattson was brutal before he left and he may have become even more merciless since he’s been gone.”

Williams wants revenge and he wants the belt. However Skipper was determined to win the belt from Halo and I don’t think he’s going to be willing to lose it after less than a month.”

Guppie: “That son of a bitch! Elix Skipper manages to walk out of here with the belt thanks to Puma and Ricky Reyes.”

Patterson: “Skipper is the leader of Prime Time and he is willing to use them to his advantage. Skipper has a lot of talent but he hides it behind these cheap tactics.”

Guppie: “He won the belt using the ropes to get the pin then makes his first title defense with the interference of his stooges. Elix Skipper is pissing off a lot of people with his antics.”

Patterson: “Lucky for him he has some of the best backup already with him. For Brian Guppie, I’m Mike Patterson thanks for supporting the SMWA. Check out smwawrestling.com for info on upcoming shows.”

It's two days later than I promised but it turned out to be a longer show than I expected and a damn good one at that. I hope you enjoy it and that it was worth the wait.

  5. Card for It’s Prime Time

    September 10, 2008

    www.smwawrestling.com

Our next big show It’s Prime Time is just three days away and we have a big card lined up for the show. The show will take place on September 13th in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The Exile has warned SMWA officials in cryptic messages that he will reveal himself in Kalamazoo. We have hired extra security for the show to make sure he can’t get in. Here is the scheduled card.

Elix Skipper ©vs. Petey Williams (SMWA Championship)

Elix Skipper makes his first title defense against Petey Williams. Williams has been on a roll recently although he lost his match on the last episode of Rage to Puma thanks to Skipper’s interference. Williams took a beating in the match but he is determined to win the belt and even the pain may not be enough to stop Williams for capturing the belt for the second time.

    Jimmy Rave vs. Halo

Two former SMWA champions clash in a battle for respect. Only one man will be able to walk out with the victory in this match.

Backseat Boyz ©vs. Havana Pitbulls (SMWA Tag Team Championship)

The Pitbulls get a rematch for the belts. The two teams have split their two matches and whoever wins this match takes the belts home and the rubber match.

Black Tiger IV vs. Johnny Spade

These two men both wanted a chance to shine and they get it as they face off one on one. These two guys have really been impressing the fans and officials lately and the winner of this match could really get a boost.

Scott Lost ©vs. Ricky Marvin (SMWA Premier Championship)

Scott Lost gets a big challenge in this defense as he takes on Mexican star, Ricky Marvin. Marvin has also made a name for himself working for NOAH in Japan. Marvin’s international experience could give him the edge against Lost but Lost has the champion’s advantage on his side.

    Vito Thomaselli vs. B-Boy

Former SMWA Champion Vito Thomaselli returns and he will face B-Boy in what should be a hard hitting match. These guys have had some vicious battles in the SMWA and this should be another great match to add to the list.

Essa Rios vs. Brandon Thomaselli vs. Zokre

So-Cal wrestler, Zokre, will make his SMWA debut against Brandon Thomaselli and superstar Essa Rios. All three of these guys need a win to get some recognition and show the fans what they can do.

Tickets are just $15 or $25 for ringside seats. Come to Kalamazoo on September 13th and support your favorite indy wrestlers.

  6. I like the way you are booking this fed so far, although I'm less than impressed with Rinauro being the the promotion at all let alone getting to team up with the Thomaselli's.

I liked the Corino promo but it would help if you used commas in there to show where Corino would pause. I can hear Corino saying that promo and just imagining him saying it I can place where the commas should be.

“Well congratulations Roderick, you're the new HVW Heavyweight Champion. I must admit, I was surprised when you beat me in the quarter finals. But I won’t make that mistake again. You see Roderick, I’m a superstar. There is no denying that. I’m the one who is going to draw the people to see our title match in three weeks, and they are all going to see Steve Corino, ‘The King of Kings,’ come out on top. You see being here in Japan just shows how much people in the wrestling world respect Steve Corino, and why your ‘green-ass,’ isn’t going to beat me twice in a row. So at ‘Hardway,’ when I return to the United States, I’m going to whip your ass all over the ring and take what is rightfully mine, the HVW Heavyweight Championship.”

I'm sure you can see the small changes that just make it seem more human. I'm sorry about fixing errors but I'm studying to become an English teacher and I just can't help it. :D

I really liked the Roderick Strong promo from the previous show but it needs more commas as well to give a flow to the promo. This is one of the things my teacher worked on with my writing last semester was fixing my dialogue in my writing so I notice those kinds of things now.

I earned this belt, dammit! I put Halo down for the three count with the Play of the Day! Tonight Petey Williams has to go against my main man, Puma. Tonight Puma is going to make sure that Williams is ready for his match against me Saturday in Kalamazoo. Puma took Williams to a draw on Rage before but tonight they’ve got more time and Puma is going to put the hurt on that punk Williams. That bitch got kicked out of Prime Time for a reason and that was because he didn’t have the tenacity to win. He wouldn’t do whatever was necessary to win. Prime Time is all about no limits and Williams kept holding himself back. Guppie: “Puma wins a tainted victory over Petey Williams thanks to the help of Elix Skipper.”

Patterson: “Well Skipper did the damage to Williams that he wanted to. Williams is going to go into his title shot at less than one hundred percent giving Skipper an advantage.”

Guppie: “Williams is a tough competitor and he’ll be going into It’s Prime Time looking for the win Saturday in Kalamazoo.”

Patterson: “Thanks for watching Rage. Be sure to check out smwawrestling.com for info on upcoming shows including the one this Saturday.”

  8. I think the Next Best Thing is a great idea for the secondary title.

I like the way you are writing the diary and that you can actually keep the feel of PWG which is a reason I've never tried a PWG diary. The Good Times Great Memories was well written but I'd prefer you just changed the name of it because it sounds too much like a ripoff from RoH.

    Keep up the good work.

    September 4, 2008

Petey Williams has been named as the number one contender to the SMWA Championship belt and will face Elix Skipper at our next big show, It’s Prime Time on September 13 in Kalamazoo. Williams has put together a string of impressive victories lately and those efforts have garnered him a shot at the belt. Before he gets the shot Petey Williams will face Puma another Prime Time member.

SMWA officials have no idea how The Exile managed to gain access to the SMWA website and post his message last week. We are still trying to discover the identity of The Exile and we hope to have an answer soon.

The next taping for Rage takes place on September 7 at the SMWA gym. We have another big show lined up with the following card.

    Puma vs. Petey Williams

Puma plays the policeman for Elix Skipper as he looks to make Williams’ quest for the gold a little more difficult. The last time these two men met they went to a 15 minute draw. This time they have 30 minutes to settle their differences in the ring.

    Chad Collyer vs. Arik Cannon

These two technical masters face off in what should be a display of what wrestling is all about.

Essa Rios & Ricky Marvin vs. SAT

We start the show off with a tag team dose of lucha libre. The new team of Marvin and Rios take on the established SAT and try to prove if they can work together against a well oiled machine.

Come down to the SMWA Gym in Detroit and check out the show for just $5!

Patterson: “Both men took a lot of risks in that match and Evans managed to capitalize on a chance to get the win.”

Guppie: “Our next match should be a great one as Petey Williams takes on NJPW star Black Tiger IV.”

I took on Michael Shane and beat him. I battled against B-Boy and proved that I am the tougher of the two and the man who lead our team. I fought Puma to a time limit draw and I will fight him again to prove that I am better. I will fight everybody in Prime Time and prove that I am a better wrestler than any of them could hope to be. Elix you have that belt now but I am coming for you and when I do that belt will be leaving around my waist. Tonight I take on Black Tiger. Tiger you are a good wrestler but I’m on a mission and you aren’t going to stop me. These two men put their bodies on the line and took chances to win the belt but never did it. However they blended perfectly as a team. Tonight they team up for something more important than belts. They are teaming up for revenge. Elix Skipper, you disrespected Halo and earned the ire of Johnny Spade and the rest of the Gertner Associates. You won the belt from Halo with your feet on the ropes and tonight you are going to feel his wrath. You have picked a fight you can’t win, Elix. Tonight you will learn just how painful of a mistake you have made. Tonight, you have reunited these two men as a team. If you thought they were dangerous as individuals you can’t begin to understand how dangerous they are as a tag team. Tonight, Elix, is the beginning of the end of your title reign.”

    OA: 73

Guppie: “We’re back from commercial break and Joel Gertner had some strong words for Elix Skipper.”

Guppie: “Halo gets a measure of revenge over Elix Skipper in a hard fought tag team match that went all over the building.”

Patterson: “The match started wild and when it came back into the ring it just got more intense. Spade took a brutal beating but managed to make the tag to Halo who came in with all guns blazing to take the victory.”

Guppie: “What a great way to end the show. Be sure to tune in next week.”

Patterson: “For Brian Guppie, I’m Mike Patterson, thanks for watching. Check out smwawrestling.com for information on future shows.”

It could be a while before my next show. I'm moving into my dorm tomorrow and I don't know how long it will take me to get everything set up. Hopefully it shouldn't take too long to get my shit together. Classes start Mondy though and that will definitely start slowing stuff down.

Black Tiger IV vs. Petey Williams

The NJPW star Black Tiger will have a tough match on his hands as he takes on Petey Williams who has been on fire lately. Tiger has a lot of talent but Williams is just as talented and has the brutal Canadian Destroyer as a finisher.

Every day I was training to be a wrestler. I was born and bred for this business, Petey. I’m sure you had some tough trainers but they were nothing compared to the people who trained me. Petey is going to feel all of my training in this ring here tonight. I am part of the Hart dynasty and it is a dynasty that will continue to grow with my exploits. If you fans cheer for me I will die for you! And I will prove that right now!”

The part I needed came in so the diary is back in action.

  13. The writing for the matches seemed better this time around. However you don't seem to have a grasp on how most of the wrestlers in your promotion actually wrestle. Jimmy Rave didn't wrestle much like himself at all.

The Shamrock/Rutten shoot fight was the worst thing I've ever read. Have you ever seen a shoot fight? It's nothing at all like boxing which you seem to have some idea that it is. When an opponent is knocked down you stay on them and beat the shit out of them. Plus Shamrock doesn't use the ankle lock in actual shoot fights. He may use an anklebar or legbar. An ankle lock is a horrible move to use in a shoot fight.

The Aries/Acid promo was lame. They didn't say enough about anything in the promo and the same thing goes for the Sullivan promo with O'Haire attacking him. It's really generic and lame.

Still your writing does seem to be getting better, so that's a good thing.

  14. Your comment about not wanting to buy talent when it comes to tag teams makes no sense when you hire one half of one of the biggest indy tag teams in Trent Acid. You then partner him up with Austin Aries who is one of the hottest wrestlers on the indy scene. If you want to develop new tag teams you should give them normal matches first. You don't have to crown every champion right away.

TNA was special because first of all they had the NWA name which has a lot of history in the wrestling world. Secondly they had a bunch of big names on the shows to sell the PPV. Your promotion doesn't and wouldn't succeed.

You have way too much sports entertainment things going on in your matches. On your last show two of the three matches ended with interference and one of them was the main event. Then Sullivan lays out O'Haire after his match. In the show before that you have the tag champs and Kazarian running into matches after the end to attack people they don't like. Plus you have Sullivan vs. O'Haire which just stunk.

There is no reason that either Kazarian or Aries/Acid would run in and attack the people they did. I can understand Kazarian wants the belt but that really doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The tag champs attacking somebody makes no sense in any way at all. Maybe if the Outlaws had run them down or something then I could see it happening but not just running down for no reason. Another thing on the Punk/Kazarian match is that it feels odd with Punk being a face and Kazarian being a heel. It's really counter to what both men do. I know they can do it but it seems really odd for them to be doing it with no explanation.

The new style would be better if you wrote the endings the way you used to but right now I'd stick with the old style.

The Shamrock/Tyson promo was dumb. Why would Shamrock be mad? Because Tyson talked to him? It just doesn't feel right.

  15. I'm going to start with the first problem I have with this diary and that is the first show your promotion ever runs is a pay-per-view. It's absurd but I'll accept it as possible. The impossible thing is that you don't give any preview of the show and expect us to accept that people would randomly order a wrestling show on PPV.

Secondly you wouldn't be able to get a TV deal without showing the stations something to look at and judge what your federation does.

Then we'll go to your booking. You start your show off with a match for the Tag Team Titles and not just a match but a four way ladder match. Not exactly an opening match. The worst part of the match is that you randomly create four teams to work the match. Couldn't you have hired actual tag teams? There are a bunch of good ones on the indy scene.

Why would you book Sullivan over Steiner? Steiner is the biggest name in your federation and you job him out to a has-been.

The shoot fight was absolute crap as well. It's just poorly written.

The description of the Kazarian/Punk/Romeo/Shane match is stupid. You say it is all one high spot but Kazarian, Punk and Romeo don't really use a lot of high spots. They will pull them off but that's not their style. I don't really know about Shane but I don't think he's a highspot worker either.

The battle royal was okay but it's not a good main event and the winner of your belt is a poor idea. From a marketing standpoint he has no name value. Yes, Nicho is Psychosis but without the Psychosis name he doesn't have name value.

You talk about using the promotion to give New England Indy talent a chance to shine and then you book a total of zero New England guys on the roster if I am correct. If it isn't zero it is right down there.

  16. The diary is going to go on hiatus for a bit. My laptops power cord crapped out on me and I won't be able to use it until I can get a replacement from Dell. They say shipping takes 1-2 weeks so hopefully it will be about that time. After that I start the fall semester of college though so updates will probably slow down but this diary is still alive.

I'll take this time to reply to YI's feedback.

I don't really care for the promotion having a tv show either but as a writer it makes it much easier. I can get them up faster than building two major shows a month plus it does let me build storylines. Which is very useful.

N8 Mattson was signed away by some new promotion that opened up in the game as well as Vito Thomaselli and some other guys that were main eventing for the first three years which required me to rebuild. Fucking other promotions.

  17. The Exile? Rage Card

    www.smwawrestling.com

    August 22, 2008

SMWA officials have no idea who the Exile is. They also have no idea how he managed to get access to the speaker system and broadcast his announcement. Elix Skipper complained loudly to management about losing his promo time but nothing could be done about it. Officials are investigating the incident though.

This Sunday we present another great edition of SMWA Rage and you can attend the tv taping for just $5.

    B-Boy vs. Johnny Spade

Spade takes on the Prime Time enforcer in our main event. Spade is looking to get some revenge for Halo who lost the SMWA Championship to Prime Time leader Elix Skipper at Summertime Blues. This should be an exciting match.

    Teddy Hart vs. Petey Williams

Teddy Hart gets a chance to prove that he is as good as he says he is when he takes on Petey Williams. Williams has been destroying everybody who gets in his way lately and a win over him could really show the fans what Teddy Hart is all about but he may not be able to stop Williams.

    Brandon Thomaselli vs. Jack Evans

Thomaselli takes on former SMWA Champion, Jack Evans to start off the show. Both of these men are looking for a win here.

Come down to the SMWA Gym in Detroit for some great wrestling action!

  18. Rage Episode #12 (SMWA Gym, Detroit)

    August 20, 2008

    Announcer: Brian Guppie

    Color Commentator: Mike Patterson

Guppie: “Welcome to SMWA Rage. We are one night removed from Summertime Blues where Elix Skipper won the SMWA Championship. I’m Brian Guppie and as always I’m joined by Mike Patters on commentary.”

Patterson: “Skipper defeated Halo in an incredible main event and we’ll here from the champ later in the show.”

Guppie: “That’s right. We are going to start the show off with a promo from Teddy Hart and then we’ll have the first match of the night.”

Segment 1: Hart, Down but not Out

Teddy Hart is sitting in the locker room with Alicia Webb, Azrieal and Jack Evans.

Hart: “Last night was not a good one for the Hart Foundation. Azrieal looked good against Scott Lost but couldn’t win the Premier Title. Jack and I took the Backseat Boyz to the limit but we couldn’t take them over the edge and take the tag team titles from them. This isn’t going to stop us though. Last night was a set back but we aren’t going to give up that easily. The Hart Foundation will win gold in the SMWA. The Backseat Boyz better stay on the top of their game because Jack and I are going to get another shot at the titles and we will not fall short next time. Azrieal is going to stay in the hunt for the Premier Title as well. The Hart Foundation contains the best new wrestlers in the business and we will not be held down!”

    OA: 80

Guppie: “Teddy Hart sounds very confident about his abilities. We’ll get too see Azrieal in action in our first match which is a four way match that also includes Joey Ryan, Black Tiger four and Brandon Thomaselli.”

Patterson: “This is an elimination match and all of these guys are great wrestlers. I can’t wait to see what happens.”

    August 13, 2008

It’s time for our monthly show and it takes place in Grand Rapids. We have a big show lined up with some debuts on the show. We have three title matches and this should be an exciting show.

Halo ©vs. Elix Skipper (SMWA Championship)

Elix Skipper has earned his way to this title shot but he may have been injured on the path to this shot. However he seems determined to end Halo’s long title reign.

    Johnny Spade vs. Puma

The Gertner Associates and Prime Time face off in this match. These two men have been impressing the fans and only one of them will be able to take home a victory.

Backseat Boyz ©vs. Teddy Hart & Jack Evans (SMWA Tag Team Championship)

The Backseat Boyz take on a different version of the Hart Foundation in this defense. Hart and Evans looked impressive in their six man tag against the X-Foundation and earned this shot at the belts. The Backseat Boyz aren’t pushovers though and have proven that by defeating the Havana Pitbulls and the team of BJ Whitmer and Dan Maff.

Scott Lost ©vs. Azrieal (SMWA Premier Title)

Scott Lost beat Azrieal to get into the finals for the Premier Title and now Azrieal gets a shot at the belt and against Scott Lost. This is the fourth match between the two and Lost holds the advantage 2-1.

Excalibur & ??? vs. Essa Rios & Ricky Marvin

Essa Rios and Ricky Marvin make their SMWA debut as they take on Excalibur and a mystery partner. Excalibur hasn’t revealed who he is bringing with him but he says that he already has a tag team partner and that his partner is going to rock the SMWA ring.

We have beaten the top teams of the SMWA and the world and we earned these belts around our waist. Tonight we make a title defense against Teddy Hart and Azrieal. Tonight you are going to feel the pain from my kicks. Tonight you are going to find out what it was like for all of those teams that stood across the ring from us. Elix, you like to talk the talk but tonight you have to walk the walk. When you get in this ring with me there is no mercy. I only have one setting and that is to kill. When you get out of this ring you will be bruised and hopefully bloodied. You will be battered and broken. You will wish you never got into this ring in the first place. You will regret getting into the ring with me.”
