I'm only qualified to make suggestions/corrections on workers that I am familar with. If I see more changes that are incorrect I will point them out in future, I don't really have any intention of retrospectively correcting mistakes though. If it's true that you 'only' go by cagematch then I would suggest broadening your reference list, as relying on a single source - particularly for workers you aren't familiar with at all yourself - is just asking for trouble... the mistakes with Black Buffalo should highlight this clearly and make you reconsider your approach. A simple wikipedia search of Black Buffalo for example, would have highlighted the errors I mentioned. 'Quit bitching'? Right, well I guess we have a difference of opinion on the importance of doing stats right. As for your age, it's not relevant to me - just that you told me to 'grow up' and then called me 'kid', despite the fact that you are my junior.

I don't understand, I've tried to be as friendly as possible whilst communicating my concerns about your suggestions, there's no need to tell me to 'grow up', or call me 'kid' - where have I shown any level of immaturity to justify that? Furthermore, I suspect I am probably significantly older than you, as by your expression I suspect you may be a teenager or early 20s at the very oldest. My statement was carefully and politely constructed, by definition it was not a 'rant'. The reason why I explained myself is because I felt it was worth pointing out to you the error in your approach to suggestions. You shouldn't make suggestions about people and places you are unfamilar about, period. And if you do, don't rely on a single source. It's pretty clear that if you would do this for Black Buffalo it's plausible you would do it elsewhere, meaning - a large number of your suggestions may be inaccurate, undermining the usefulness of your posts. Instead of being rude and dismissing me, you could have maybe acknowledged your mistake? Explained yourself in some way? Admitted you didn't know the worker? Or made the admission that you would check multiple sources in future before making suggestions about people you know nothing about. Instead you insulted me and pushed your head back into the sand, and thus learned nothing... and I suspect you will continue to make more incorrect suggestions. It's only that most of the workers you deal with are obscure that more people can't question the veracity of your claims. The reason I went at length to explain my objection is that I suspect your method of researching these changes is flawed (mainly based on very limited sources), which means your large list of 'changes' is actually polluting the data on a massive scale, creating less accurate data, and wasting the mod-makers time. If I felt like saying 'that's wrong' would challenge you to reevaluate the utility of your contributions here I would have said that, instead I feel like its necessary that I at least attempt to have a discussion with your about your methods; but hey ignore if you wish. I registered just to say this after lurking for months... You appear to use cagematch as the only (main?) source for some of your changes, please don't take this the wrong way... but I find that really unhelpful and I don't mean to pick on you but it really bothers me when people suggest incorrect changes, as not only does it make the mod inaccurate, it's a waste of the mod makers time - and modding EWR/TEW requires a lot of time and patience. My suggestion would be, If you don't genuinely follow a worker, area, or promotion you shouldn't make suggestions about them. I'm pretty sure considering you're a US fan who 'marks' for The Shield and Christian York you don't watch much puroresu? If this is the case, I would advise against making suggestions for puroresu workers as the info is not necessarily as accessible on the net as other areas, and requires more specialised knowledge. If you do wish to make these suggestions then at least consult multiple sources before posting suggestions for 'corrections' (in the case of Black Buffalo, consulting literally any other available source would have yielded information contrary to your suggestion, just google 'black buffalo puroresu'. In the case of Black Buffalo, a 'recent' pic of him would actually include the fact that he unmasked something like 5 years ago, His billed weight (check Osaka Pro's website, though I'm not sure if you know that that's his main promotion?) is actually 209 lbs not 198 lbs, maybe that was correct five years ago or more, but Buffalo is ageing and this is no longer correct. Also his finishers should be Lariat (impact), and Backdrop Suplex (impact). These are the moves he uses to win matches these days, when he does get a pinfall at least. Moreover, the Slicer has never been a finisher, it's an apron leg-drop - i.e. a trademark move. I suspect as it is listed on his cagematch profile under his trademark holds you've just plonked it in from there without thinking about it... cagematch does mention its an apron leg drop though so that should have sent off alarm bells. Funnily enough the two suggestions you made for his finishers, are basically just the first two moves listed in his 'trademark holds' section on cagematch. That's not a good basis for determining what his finishers are as its not a list of 'finishers'.. Ironically his actual main finisher, Lariat, is listed in that section but you didn't choose to mention it here, presumably as it was the third move listed and not in the first two. Like I said please don't take this the wrong way but as a fan of puroresu I want the workers of the area to be as accurate as possible and it frustrates me that people would make suggestions about it when they're not really a fan. -------- Also, this jumped out at me because I follow puroresu, I can't really comment on your other suggestions as i'm not familiar with any of those workers. However, given the type of mistakes involved with the example above, I can't help but think you may be replicating some of these mistakes with your other suggestions... presuming you do similar 'research'. For me, this undermines the credibility of your suggestions generally. Peace.
