They used to put House on Haunted Hill on terrestrial television at like 3am during my teens (so like 2000), Such an odd film.

The first half of the remake was absolutely terrifying, but then the last half turned into a clusterfuck of awfulness. I used to believe it was terrifying anyway, havent seen it in years so not sure how tame it actually is in comparison to todays horrors.

And then blaming your failures on:

- Grassroots football;
- Senior team not playing together in Under 21s setup;
- Not playing tiki-taka;
- Too many foreign players in the EPL;
- Media pressure;
- WAGS in attendance and;
- Anything other than admitting that your team isnt anywhere near good enough to win anything.

Regardless of his injuries he's still one the best talents England have. The through balls he was attempting last night though we far beyond anything Henderson or Gerrard offered.

To be fair losing to Italy and Uruguay is hardly shameful, theyre two teams that most people would expect to atleast get to the quarters/maybe semi's.

And I think we saw in last nights performance why some of the youngsters arent ready yet. Why Jack Wilshere hasnt been playing from the start is beyond me.
