the chanting at progress at Zack Gibson is what really turned me off them, awful stuff about people from Liverpool being poor and what not. I get it was the easy heat but be smarter.

Fight choreography was really good, easily the best I've seen in a Marvel film. Great casting overall, Simu Liu is a star, Tony Leung and Michelle Yeoh all-timers, Awkwafina has charisma for days, and so much more. Took the relatively standard Marvel original movie and added in enough to make it feel like a new experience.

One thing I found odd is there was no mention of the blip. Assuming this occurred shortly after it should have certainly come up given its global impact.

 

There was one mention of it in passing early on.

The Wire is the best TV show of all time and Omar Little is it’s best character. This sucks.

I can't begrudge him for wanting the move but ultimately, he signed the contract and if somebody wants him then they have to stump up the asking price.

The asking price is too much, football is such a weird world that you can be held for ransom, but again, someone else has invested a lot in you and require it paying back. It’s just so bizarre.

The skateboarding I felt wasn’t a great showing on the world stage for it in 2021. Street skating was never that big in the late 90’s/early 00’s days as visually very skating is a lot more exciting, in more recent years with purpose built courses and the likes of SLS it’s really helped, but when you spend the whole event fawning over someone who finishes second to last, not a good look.

I feel the SLS style of 2 runs, 5 best tricks just leads to a lot more 4 best tricks being the win. Nyjah made a mistake by not at least landing a half decent second trick and going full blitz from trick 2.

They should make it 3 runs, 5 tricks. Best run is always taken then your 3 best scores from the other 7 scores.

We watched it on D+ was enjoyable.

Benitez is a good manager and will do well for Everton with the players they have. They weren’t getting another Ancelotti level manager and hot young things aren’t available everywhere.

Nuno on the other hand, is definitely grasping at straws for Spurs, he’s fine and likeable but eh.

Just drop Kane as he’s not playing well and he doesn’t fit in with any of these players.

Play a front three of Grealish, Sterling and anyone else. Midfield three with Henderson actually being someone with some vision and you can keep your two defensive midfielders.
