  1. I got this game when it first came out thanks to the 100% extra trade in Best Buy had going on a while back. Enjoy the hell out of it. Just got rid of it to get Alien and already started missing it, so seeing it on Access was a hell of a good surprise!

  2. I just picked this up today and was hoping to discuss it with whoever else is interested in/is playing it. Couldn't find a thread, so figured i'd make one.

Anyway, i've only played it for about 15 minutes total thanks to schoolwork, but I enjoyed what I played. Seems VERY similar to Residen Evil 4, right down to the gory executions and chainsaw guys. Definitely a different experience than Alien Isolation was.

  3. sooo am I understanding correctly?

    $40 game,

$25 season pass (paige, accellorator, unlock everything, christian/mark henry showcase feuds)

+ extra for warrior showcase feud.

+ extra for wcw superstar pack

+ extra for nxt superstar pack

    + extra for moves pack

that seems like an awful lot of content held-back from the game for DLC, and which falls outside of the season pass...

Season pass has always included all the DLCs so you aren't pricing correctly.

This year the Season Pass only includes the 3 extra showcase feuds, paige and accelerator. It only gives you a discount on the WCW, NXT and Moves packs.

  4. I'm guessing Juice is NOT going to tell Jax. Just too obvious from that teaser. I'm thinking Jax is going to find out from Gemma. I'm also calling Unser figuring it all out and threatening to tell Jax only to get killed by Gemma. Also, guessing that Juice is going to volunteer to take the heat off the club by shooting up the cops bikes and getting either killed or put in jail for the murder of that cop. Once inside, the Aryan's set up Lin for Juice to kill.

I though last night's episode was okay but overall kind of a filler. After last weeks crazy cliffhanger, they just took it nowhere. I don't get it. I'm hoping Sutter does something nuts and pulls a Season 3 finale where everything just kind of falls into place in the end.

  5. I don't think the map design is so bad. The game reminds me of Metroid in the sense that you have to explore to see where you are supposed to go. Plus, the motion tracker tells you where to go when you use it. I do agree that the objectives can be a bit confusing at times, but just use the tracker and you'll be fine.

  6. The Judge

Saw this tonight because I had a free pass for it. Enjoyed it. It's a little long, but Downey is great in it but Robert Duvall steals the entire show. He's still amazing even at his age. It's a tear jerker and they could have easily cut some of the scenes to shorten it, but I still enjoyed it. I wouldn't advise anyone to pay money to see it in theaters but it's a good rental.

  7. I've heard a ton of people say they aren't enjoying the game and I always ask them one question. Were you a bigger fan of Alien or Aliens? Because this game pretty much acts like Aliens doesn't exist. This is pure fan service to Alien fans. No, you aren't going to kill an Alien in the entire game. You aren't going to unload a magazine into a Xeno and see it explode and die. You are nothing in this game, and I love it for that. I love the Alien series, especially the first, so it was amazing to be able to play through something that channels the first. Sure, this isn't an action packed game and it isn't supposed to be. This is purely a stealth survival horror game and it does exactly what its supposed to do.

If you can, I suggest playing this with a nice headset and in the dark. No way you can not be scared in this game.

I enjoyed it and it had plenty of callbacks to the first movie, which I appreciated.

  8. While we all knew our heroes weren't going to be that night's dinner in Terminus (thankfully there were four redshirts in front of Glen), I was surprised that they got out so quickly.

There was a ton of action, but I assume that's so everybody gets their fix of walker-death porn.

It was a good show, excited to see where the year takes us.

    Also, where's Beth?

Beth is gonna be involved in the future judging by the season trailer and comments by showrunner Scott Gimple on Talking Dead.

What a crazy good episode. I don't see how anyone could have not enjoyed it. They went pretty full on right from the top and managed to tell a good story from start to finish. This is the Walking Dead I enjoy. Gruesome kills, good character development, good dialogue and something to look forward too for the season as a whole.

    MORGAN!

  9. Dug the premiere of AHS: Freak Show. The clown was quite creepy and a lot more brutal than I anticipated. I enjoyed Coven at first, but ended up being pretty disappointed after finally watching season 1 and Asylum and comparing the seasons.

I enjoyed it as well. The clown is the most well done part of the show. Whoever is playing him does a great job of making me feel creeped out. Everything else just seems odd. Not sure how this season is going to go down, but that's the norm with this show. Every season kinda ends up falling flat.

  10. This is good stuff. I just watched Alien for the first time the other day because of Isolation. I was pleasantly surprised how well the movie holds up almost 30 years later. The only things that don't look great are the Ash and chest-burster scenes. Everything else is done really well.
