  1. Chelsea got boring, so I've kicked up a new game as Wigan. I spent my whole budget on a Russian striker - Milevskyi. I also said we could get top 10.

We were destroyed 3-0 by United at OT first game of the season. Gonna be a long season.

Artem? He's Ukrainian. Was awesome for me at Spurs in FM09.

  2. Not sure if this has been mentioned, but in manager mode I loaned out most of my youth players and two of them, John Bostock and Adam Smith, seemed to have been sold from the clubs I loaned them to =/

Have they just been sold for the length of the loan or is this a massive bug?

This is an old bug prior to the patch that came out weeks ago

Sorry I don't dedicate my life to FIFA. I was up home for a few days and decided to play it for a bit after my brother picked it up last week.

  4. Now, if N'Gog had been cute about it and ran into Carsley's leg and gone over, then fine. It's not what I like to see (I don't see why players can't hurdle challenges if they have time enough to dive over them), but at least there would have been contact and by the letter of the law, it would have been a foul & a penalt

I don't see how you can draw any differences between the two. They're both cheating, so I don't see how you can justify one and make it seem somehow more palatable than the other. It was a dive, clearly, although I can see why players dive in those situations - in having to hurdle Carsley's desperate lunge (he was nowhere near the ball, which is worth remembering) N'Gog put himself at a disadvantage, his stride was broken making it extremely difficult to shoot or cut the ball back across goal, especially so close to the line.

He seems to touch the ball with the outside of his foot (though it's difficult to tell with that angle). Not really nowhere near it though.

No idea how the ref fell for that tbh, you could hardly make a dive anymore obvious.

  5. Started a game as Australia, been doing quite well so far. Taking control of the first team, under 21s and under 23s (for Olympics) and I've only had one defeat so far (1-0 away to Croatia which is still not bad, considering our under 21s are pretty ordinary to say the least). Drew with Croatia 1-1 and beat South Africa 2-1 with the first team, and my under 23s are into the final at the Olympics, having drawn with Serbia 0-0, Argentina 1-1 (they had two players sent off and I only scored right at the end tbf, but their goal did come from a free kick. Valeri and Jedinak dominated Messi in centre midfield and forced him off with poor condition they bashed him up so much (H)) and then Ivory Coast 3-1 (they didn't have a proper keeper in the squad tbf, but they did also beat both Serbia and Argentina). I then beat the Dutch 1-0 in the quarters and the Ivory Coast again in the semi, 2-1 in extra time. Have Italy in the final which will be a bit harder, but I have faith :)

Mighty Bruce Djite, a striker with 8 for finishing and 10 for composure, has 5 goals in 5 games so far. Legend :D

  6. Parramatta were very ordinary in the first half, it was as if they were playing a Round 1 game, not a Grand Final. No intensity at all. As a result Melbourne never got out of second gear until they were challenged for about fifteen minutes in the second half, and that was mainly through Moi Moi leading from the front. Apart from him and Grothe, no one really stuck their hand up for Parra.

  7. play intensity 90

    shot frequency 20

    zone tendency 60

    pass frequency 70

    offensive mindedness 45

    dribble frequency 35

    runs frequency 50

So basically I run around a lot and concentrate on supplying teammates rather than dribbling or shooting. So if Higatov wants to run around less but shoot and dribble more maybe? Up to you, Dan.
