No, Spurs need a top quality centre back. In the heart of any defence you need consistency - it's vital, Ledley King, as good as he is, cannot offer you that. King will be best served as back up for if one of Woodgate and a new CB get injured. LB is more personal opinion I guess, I don't think Assou-Ekotto will be good enough for you if you want to challenge for a top 6 place.

Edit: That's not to say King and Woody aren't top quality CBs by the way, they are, but you need another is what I should've said.

Dawson is also top quality! Future captain

Spurs have got plenty of cover at centre back. King and Woodgate would be our starting pair, Dawson is excellent as well and Corluka is just as good there as he is on the right, where we've also got plenty of cover (Hutton, Gunter, Smith). Then we have Dervite and people like Zokora and Huddlestone who can do a decent job there. It'll actually be pretty hard to fit King, Woodgate, Dawson, Corluka and Hutton all into the one team, all are good enough to be starting every game.

Not that I'm complaining about us losing, we have one or two players that really shouldn't be there (Lee won't get an Ashes game hopefully, Watson is great at state level but has never stood up in international games, Ponting is losing it). Might give some of the players a bit of a kick up the bum before the Ashes.

I'm not going to sound the panic button just yet, but what would you suggest? At this stage we would have to convert players to out-of-position spots :\

Defenders and strikers stay the same, just change the midfield up a bit. So we have 3 more central mids, maybe one as a DM, and the 4th as an AMC. If you can do that, of course. Cos the wingers don't seem to have a huge effect on the game.

I'm a L4D fanboy and I have to say; this is stupid. They just released the SDK Tools for the PC, which means people can now easily make their own maps, designs, even gametypes, but noooo, before the community can even take off they put a new game on the market. How much money do they want? Jeeesh, L4D came out last year, sold a shitload of copies, then came out with a "new" version (L4D + Expansion Pack already included) and that also sold loads and then just a mere 2 months later they announce a whole NEW game....sigh.

Also, kraigy, Bill, Zoey, Francis and Louis are amazing
