  1. OK my question is this. They had some episodes where it would be a Flash Back to elementary school. In every one of these episodes they had Zack introduce it, at current age (in 1995 or whenever). Then the Show would start, and It would be the same person playing Zack now, but he was much younger. And Screech was the same person too.

These were the ones with the British teacher, and that Mikey kid (who was not Slater).

So did they film these before and just started airing them in 1995 (or whenever) after the series was done?

I think that when they do the flashbacks from that far back they were originally filmed for the series Good Morning Miss Bliss which was a pre-cursor to Saved By The Bell and had Zack, Screech, Lisa and two others called Nikki and Mikey. Their principal was Mr. Belding, but of course, that school was in Indiana. :shifty:

  2. That was a hit and miss show for me Funky.

    HITS

    - Dutt advancing in the Super 8

    - Simon Diamond getting a push up the card

    - The Raven promo was good

    - Mafia = RATINGS

    - Jeff Jarrett losing!

    MISSES

    - Shelley advancing in the Super 8. I'm not sure if you'll get his overness up enough for it to be worthwhile for him to be there.

    - Ron Simmons and Ron Killings? I demand you change them to a comedy act and make them The New Two Ronnies

    - Dutt doing so well to beat Swinger then losing to Killings. I'd have put both over by having Dutt win by DQ, gettings Killings over as a psycho and Dutt over as the winner.

Thumbs in the middle for that show Funky.

  3. I bought the following, are they ok ?

    OLD MAN AND THE SEA

    FAREWELL TO THE ARMS

agatha christies' NEMISIS, SLEEPING MURDER, AT BERTRAMS HOTEL, MURDER AT THE VICARAGE

    tolkiens THE TWO TOWERS

    KING SOLOMON'S MINES

I've never been a fan of Agatha Christie, but the others seem good. Hemingway and Tolkien are good.

  4. A nice Xplosion Funky. Had to come by after seeing you mention me in Essa's Casa de Insult.

First off nice to see the Xplosion logo, really cool, shows much graphical ability <_<

The show itself I felt was pretty standard. Not a bad show by any means but it just had that "averagey" feeling for me. Granted the show is early evening so you aren't going all out with it but still has a sombre mood following the TNA show.

Got to say I know I hate Gilbertti and I'm glad he's gone but I do not like John Walters at all. Maybe its just his name I don't know, but I don't like him. Although maybe now taking control of Russo Inc. will give him that little bit of an edge he needs and working against Russo will help him.

Matches themselves were pretty much par for the course. 2 squashes and 1 well hidden squash among them. If Ki is in the Super 8 I can see the final being Low Ki vs. B-Boy to close that feud. The Ki promo was a typical intensity promo but did its job.

    I give the show a ** 1/2 overall.

  5. These are the books in my bookcase I would reccomend as essential for anyone who loves to read.

"1984" and "Animal Farm" by George Orwell

"Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley

"The Godfather Trilogy" and "The Sicilian" by Mario Puzo

"Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck

"Treasure Island" and "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" by Robert Louis Stevenson

"All Quiet On The Western Front" by Erich Maria Remarque

"A Farewell To Arms" and "The Old Man And The Sea" by Ernest Hemingway

"One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" by Ken Kesey

"Lord of the Flies" by William Golding

"A Christmas Carol" and "Oliver Twist" by Charles Dickens

    "Fahrenheit 451" by Ray Bradbury

Also try to get anything else of Shakespeare, Dickens and Orwell. If you want to expand into drama then I recommend Arthur Miller and Tennesee Williams to get you started.

  6. All looking top-notch so far TGC. I like the way you're building a major 3 way war between the WWF, WCW and the nWo although having not read this before I'm not sure if this is still reposting you're doing but I have this thought deep in the back of my head that Raven's actions are the forerunner to a group of ECW wrestlers joining the battle as a separate entity.

One of the best things in this is how the whole WWF isn't rallying round behind the banner and individuals and groups (i.e The Radicalz) are still out for themselves.

Interested to see where you go with X-Pac and I can see him being a major player as the angles progress, but I don't see a heel turn in his future (now you can make me look like a right tit by turning him) and the Trish situation looks quite good although I am repulsed by Linda sleeping with the male roster. Yuck.

Keep it up and I'll keep reading, but dip in quality and you'll get the raised fist and disgruntled roar.

  7. Kluivert is VERY over-rated, one of the most over-rated players in the world today. I watch all the Spanish games I can on Sky Sports and whenever I see Kluivert I feel sorry for him because he's shite now. His control is poor, his communication is weak, he has no pace to speak of and his finishing is sub-par. If Boro want him, let them have him.

  8. Interesting fact: Your fact is wrong. Last year was a 0-0 draw after extra time. That's 180 minutes without a goal. This year the goal came in the 39th minute. That's 219 minutes. Research shows that the last goal in the 2001/02 final betwwen Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen was scored by Zidane in the 44th minute. That means there were 46 minutes in that game after the last goal was scored.

    2001/02 - 46 minutes since goal.

    2002/03 - 180 minutes without goal.

    2003/04 - 39 minutes until goal.

That's 265 minutes without a goal. Don't spout crap trying to look smart.

That's only 120 minutes. Extra Time is only 30 minutes. So it'd be 46+120+39=205 so G-O-D was close.

  9. Also as a Ger I'm watching Prso closely and hoping he makes an impact but more importantly hoping he comes out of the game in one piece! I think it'll be a close game and a very exciting one to watch. I feel Monaco are the one team that this season have been consistently strong in attack in the CL and Porto's usual game of scoring and then sitting in for 1 -0 win won't work against Monaco as I feel that Morientes, Prso and Giuly will find a way through.

  10. The Crucifixtion by Billy Connelly.

Absolutely hilarious, every part of it.

Billy Connelly is one of the funniest guys about today, most of his stuff is brilliant

Snap, but the best part is after he's nailed to the cross:

They're all lookin' at me and chantin' "dae somethin', dae somethin', dae somethin'", so that's when I did the final miracle *touches his nose*

That's classic. Also there was one on the Comedy Store by Nina Conti. She had a stuffed monkey with her and did a ventriloquist act.

Nina: Why did the monkey fall out of the tree?

Monkey: Because he was dead...........*Audience laughs*.......Don't laugh it happens you know!

  11. Brilliant quotes. Why can't all managers be like Strachan?

Reporter: This might sound like a daft question, but you'll be happy to get your first win under your belt, won't you?

Strachan: You're right. It is a daft question. I'm not even going to bother answering that one. It is a daft question, you're spot on there.

    My favourite one.

  12. My top 5 favourite songs don't change, but recent ones I've heard that I liked are:

    1) This Love - Maroon Five

    2) Long Day - Matchbox 20

    3) Real World - Matchbox 20

    4) Workout - Kanye West

    5) Wash Away Those Years & Higher - Creed

  13. Feedback Welcome, guyz.

First of all, don't say that, it immediatly turns people away to see people asking for feedback, especially in a throwaway post like that which just bumps your diary (granted there isn't that many right now but it is still bumping). One thing did make me curious though, which is when this is set:

Another rumor supports the idea that Vince McMahon, ex-husband of Linda and the owner of SmackDown!, paid these wrestlers for what they did, but this is unlikely

Is this set when Flair had RAW and Vince had Smackdown? When were Vince & Linda divorced?

Secondly, how did you manage to get Hardy, Rhyno, Heyman and Tazz out of their WWE contracts so easily?

The backstory is alright but there are a few inconsistencies you should look at.
