    Timecrimes (Spanish: Los Cronocrímenes) [2007]

    Genre: Sci-fi/Thriller

    Availablity (UK): DVD/Amazon Instant Video

In the Spanish countryside, a middle-aged man named Héctor (Karra Elejalde) and his wife (Candela Fernández) live in a home that they are renovating. Héctor looks at the forest behind their house with binoculars, when he sees someone who turns out to be a young woman undressing. His wife leaves to go shopping so he investigates, only to be stabbed and chased by a mysterious man wearing pink bandages on his face. After fleeing and breaking into a mysterious building, Héctor is contacted by a scientist (Nacho Vigalondo), who warns him of the bandaged man and guides him to his location, promising safety. The scientist convinces Héctor to hide from the bandaged man in a large mechanical device. However, when he leaves the machine, he discovers that he has traveled approximately an hour back in time.

A very interesting Spanish language film, that I originally watched in College, and I enjoyed it enough to go out and buy the DVD. Personally, I think it makes good use of the Time-loop plot device.

    SLC Punk! (1998)

    Genre: Comedy-Drama

    Availability (UK): Netflix/DVD (US Import)

The film outlines the daily lives of two punks in Salt Lake City, Utah in the fall of 1985: Stevo (Matthew Lillard) and his best friend, "Heroin" Bob (Michael A. Goorjian).Throughout the film Stevo ridicules other youth subcultures and defends punk-anarchism as a world-life view. A series of tragic events unfold that reveal the implausibility of punk-anarchism.

A film I really enjoy, and have watched several times. Also has Jason Segel in one of his first acting roles. While you can only get it as a US Import on DVD, it is available on the UK Netflix (don't think it is on the US one though.)

  3. I'm just irritated by it based on how many crap prizes I've received considering how difficult it is to get the eggs once the questline is over. People that spend stupid amounts of money to try and get all the prizes are a bit silly, I only spent some donuts because I didn't have enough to buy any good premium items and I don't intend on spending money on buying more.

For a while now I've just been looking at the game once a day when there isn't an event going on, but with this event I've barely played it anymore than usual, since every single way to get eggs takes either almost a day, a day, or slightly over a day.

  4. If it was a film I would be all over it, but I'm totally over Call of Duty as a game these days. I've not really been a fan of the multiplayer since as far back as Call of Duty 2, but Ghosts bored me so much that I didn't even finish the Campaign.

  5. 1-0 Dingles. Looks like they'll fianlly be joining Leicester.

Are you calling Burnley dingles? Didn't realised you were a Blackburn fan as well now.

There's an "Automatic Promotion" trophy

Only fair, both of the other promoted teams get a trophy after all.

We are going down tomorrow. I expect Birmingham to get something at Bolton and I know we will get fuck all at the Leicester Champions Party. Awful end to the season.

I wish I could agree with you, but I honestly can't see us picking anything up tomorrow, or if we do, every other result will go against us.
