I'm not even sure if I want to play The Raven. It looks quite cool, but for me to even finish the game I'll have to splash out £16 for the other two episodes. Seems a bit cheap to give it away as 'Games With Gold', especially since they gave away the first episode of TWD Season 2 for free just a couple weeks ago.

Games with Gold games for next month have been announced.

Xbox One is getting Chariot (and it looks like Crimson Dragon is remaining free)
Xbox 360 is getting Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for the first half of the month, at which point it'll be replaced by Darksiders II.

Looks like a decent couple of games next month.

Hasn't Destiny been having connection issues lately across the entire game? Or has all that been sorted?

They'd be foolish to pull any support from the other platforms, it just means they'll most likely be more DLC (skin packs etc) that are Microsoft exclusive. I do think that they've probably acquired Mojang for the mobile side of things, whilst at the same time getting themselves an exclusive Indie developer.

I really want an Xbox One. Think I may save up and put some money towards to and get someone to make it my joint Birthday/Christmas present.

It's just very irritating that the whole reason that "evil Microsoft is going to kill Mojang" is because they purchased Rare and then stuck them making Kinect games.

It's two vastly different things and I think people have vastly different expectations. Mojang are Minecraft, whereas Rare were arguably the greatest non-first party studio of all time. Lots of people failed to realise that the Goldeneye/PD teams had left Rare prior to the sale or were confident that it was the Stamper brothers who made the magic happen.

This seems (at least to me) to mainly be an IP acquisition, Notch is leaving (but had checked out of Minecraft long ago anyway), I'm sure I read that the other two were also leaving.

So I can't really see how the comparison was warranted? Notch has said he doesn't ever want another massive success so Mojang were never going to turn into the modern Rare.

From the Youtube comments you'd think that was, in fact, true. Always makes me laugh how Sony buying up indie companies is genius, meanwhile Microsoft do the same thing and the response is 'RIP Minecraft'.

I've decided that I can't be doing with all these open world games when I want to play something late at night. Anybody got any recommendations for a game that's just a simple, level by level story game?

So I got my hands on Crusader Kings II in one of the Humble Bundles, and I literally have no idea what I'm supposed to do. Would anyone be able to enlighten me on how to play it? The game looks really cool, but I'm just completely clueless.

I think I need to start playing modded PC minecraft. Xbox minecraft bores me playing on my own, it's too basic to keep me interested in survival, and I fail creatively so I can't even use creative mode effectively.

I usually enjoy watching this, it's great for some lazy viewing. But the whole Facebook shit storm that kicked up over the ice cream made me decide that I couldn't be bothered with it.

I'm not sure what I think about Monaco. I imagine the game is a lot better when played with people, but it doesn't seem to be grabbing me, though I can't really say anything bad about the game.

In fairness, when I heard about these messages being sent out, I hadn't been online for about a week and a half, so maybe they just assumed I had abandoned them.

I keep hearing good things about Monaco, so I'm glad I can get it for free, and I don't think i ever finished reach. Good month for me with the free games really.

So I got the Humble Jumbo Bundle and it came with a couple of games I already have. So does anybody want Terraria or Legends of Grimlock?

I contemplated getting it, but since I already have a ton of games I haven't played, I decided against it. That and the fact I got both Bully and Undead Nightmare.

I think it may get better once I've unlocked the majority of the stuff, but at the moment the game seems very bitty, and the novelty is wearing off fast.

I can't see anything. I know the website has streams and stuff, but I think that's only for the main stage, and it doesn't until 3pm. I just found out Jamie T is playing a secret set at Reading tonight as well.
