I've actually just got back into Pokemon go. Most likely because I'm looking forward to the switch game.

Will anyone be getting sea of thieves when it comes out? I had a quick run of the alpha, and it looks like it'll be fun with people, but on my own it was quite boring.

Finally got my hands on this today. I'm having fun, but some of the levels frustrate me no end. I'm not even bothering trying to 100% the levels yet, just sticking to trying to beat the first damn game.

Well that's highly annoying, I was very much looking forward to having a play on that tonight.

Edit: Apparently you can request a replacement from the Activision website, which I have done in case I have no luck tomorrow.

So I managed to get my hands on Guitar Hero Live for the Xbox One from Game at the weekend. I've gone to play it, but I can't get the controller to connect. I keep reading about a dongle (which wasn't in the box). Do I need a dongle to connect it, or is my Xbox just being a massive pile of shit?

Would anyone know a good place to pick up retro games (IE Snes games) that isn't Ebay?

My Girlfriend got me a clone console for my birthday since I never owned a SNES. I'm looking into an Everdrive, but I'm waiting to hear back from the company to see if it supports it, so I'm weighing up my other options.

Games with Gold this month has Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings Oct 1st-Oct 31st, and The Escapists from Oct 16th - Nov 15th for Xbox One, and MX Vs ATV Reflex from Oct 1st-Oct 15th, and I Am Alive Oct 16th-Oct 31st for the 360.

I played the trial of Super Mega Baseball and really enjoyed it, and The Escapists has always looked fun, so I'm happy with those games. The 360 games are give or take.

Speaking of Dave, I really enjoy Dara O'Briain's Go 8 Bit. Best gaming TV show in quite some time.

I'm not sure if I've just gotten used to it, but the editing seems better than last weeks, and I'm enjoying this episode far more.

The pit still needs smoke though...

My only problem is that everything feels too clean, takes away some of the magic from the old series.

i don't think the criticism was with the story, was more with how the game runs (or did run, I'm not sure if it's been fixed yet.) 

I finally picked the game up after running through some multliplayer at my friends house. Only trouble I've got now is I can't seem to connect to a muliplayer game at all. Just keep getting "searching....waitin for 3 more players.....searching...." and it's really annoying me, because I liked the multiplayer for a bit of quick, mindless fun.

I really hope Wales win this Euros (unless Iceland can do a Greece). One, because I really want a home nation to win, but also because it'll hopefully put pressure on the England squad to stop being so disappointing.

I really wish players wouldn't go down so dramatically. If you've been fouled, it makes it look like you dived/

Also, get in! My dream of a Wales/Iceland final continues to live!

They've said they aren't showing anything of the new system. Nintendo's presence at this e3 is pretty much just to hype the new Zelda.

I'm happy enough with those. I wanted to try Gone Home but its a very short game, and I'm always happy to have a game I can just pick up and play for a few minutes, and NBA fits that quite nicely.

So, thanks to Niner I now have my first ever Platinum trophy . Now I should probably try and work on actually being somewhat decent at the game.

Does anyone have Rocket League that I can jump on with? The only trophy I need to get the platinum is 'Play online with a friend'.

I just actually picked up a bunch of his records on vinyl last week. Very sad news to hear.

I think I have some kind of graphical glitch. My player is constantly holding his right arm to his body, as if crippled, despite it being completely healed. I've tried healing it again, and even re-crippling it, but so far I've had no luck.

I keep trying to get into this game, but I just don't seem to find it enjoyable, which is a shame, because I really liked 3/NV, and I really wanted to like this one

Great win for us today against Derby, makes me feel a bit more confident for the game against Ipswich next week. Playoffs are still probably a stretch, but it's nice that they are a more likely option than relegation this season (even automatic qualification seems more likely, though I won't hold my breath). 

I don't think I've ever been so genuinely upset by a Musician passing as I have been with Bowie today.I was introduced to him by my parents when I was young through songs such as 'Ashes to Ashes' and I gradually became more of a fan to the point where he became one of my favourite artists. The epitome of cool and original.

As for his album, while I know hindsight is 20/20 (and overthinking is in full effect), the entire album feels like a last will and testament to the world of music that he helped shape. with 'Lazarus' being a perfect final insight into a his world, as a man who had accepted his fate and come to terms with his own mortality in a way that only Bowie could.

I have my new Xbox and it's working better than my old one ever did, with the added bonus of getting a headset with it this time.
