I think it's best Couture stays put in the LWH division. He was having a enough of a hard time in the heavyweight before dropping weight classes. Besides, if Randy thinks he is going to go toe to toe with a guy like Arlovski, he's got another thing coming. But I know Randy is a smart competitor and will and will not leave the Light Heavyweight division.
-
Yeah, though UFC puts on a good show more often then not, their title situations are a mess.
Heavyweight: Frank Mir, title more than likely to be vacated soon or an interim champion will be decided upon.
Light Heavyweight: Randy Couture
Middleweight: Title vacated, no current plans to name champion
Welterweight: Title vacated, New champion to be decided at UFC 50 when former champion Matt Hughes takes on George St. Pierre
Lightweight: Title vacated, no current plans to name a new champion
And yes, like I said before, Ken Shamrock's time as a big name contender has passed. As for Tito, he'll have his hands full with Ken Shamrock-Lite at UFC 50.
-
Bah, I just remembered Shamrock was injured, so count him out (probably for the best). Tim Sylvia is still nursing that broken arm, Cabbage is suspended due to fighting in another event with a concussion I believe, Kimo is suspended after testing positive for steriods, and every other top contender (and I use that term lightly) has either left UFC or not even near the caliber of Arlovski. Tank is gone from UFC too, he backed out of his fight with Shamrock to sign a contract with K-1. So no Tank, Kimo, Cabbage, or Shammy.
This is a dire situation for Dana White. Best of luck in finding a suitable replacement.

Shamrock is in the Middleweight Division if im not mistaken but he takes on Heavyweight fighters. I may be wrong like usual though. The UFC games put him in the Middleweight.

The heavyweight divisionhas been in shambles as of late.
Here is what happened with the title since Tim Sylvia won it and so on...
-Tim Sylvia defeated Ricco Rodriguez at UFC 41 to win the Heavyweight Title.
-Tim Sylvia was stripped of the title after admiting to taking steroids.
-Sylvia and Andrei Arlovski were set to go at it for the vacant belt at UFC 47, but Sylvia once again had contraversy with steriods right before the fight. Cabbage Correira replaced Sylvia on short notice, however, the Cabbage/Arlovski fight was not for the title. Andrei won the match.
-Then it was supposed to be Arlovski vs. Slyvia AGAIN at UFC 48, but Arlvoski got injured and Frank Mir was put on the card instead. Mir beat Sylvia and won the vacant title with a brutal armbar early in the fight, breaking Tim's arm in the process.
Now this. Intesting to see what happens after this. It's clearly going to be Andrei vs. somone, but who? And if it's Ken Shamrock, I'll flip.

My favorite episode is the one with the J.Roc concert. When the accidentally catch him "changing". "Don't tell anyone that I was ....changing".

Yes, this show rocks on so many levels. It's probably the most unintellectual TV show ever, it's production quality is terrible (well, it is supposed to be a "documentary"), and it doesn't appeal to all tastes, but I fucking can't get enough of this show! I just bought season 3 on DVD a few days ago and I'm planning on buying the season 1 & 2 package this weekend.
My favorite quote has to be the one I have in my sig...
From the episode where Lahey buys all the remaining tickets to the Rush concert so that the gang can't attend the show. Bubbles is very upset, so in order to make him feel better and get the full Rush experience, Ricky kidnaps Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson and brings him to the trailer park.
Ricky: Hey, play "I Like To Rock".
Alex Lifeson from Rush:...That's April Wine.
Ricky: Well, play that "Diane Sawyer" song...just fuckin' play something!
I dunno why but I find that moment extremely hilarious. If you don't get it, Ricky is referring to the Rush song "Tom Sawyer", but instead calls it "that Diane Sawyer song"...Diane Sawyer is of ABC's 20/20 fame.

Yes, I mentioned Moist. Push, Silver, Resurrection, and Leave It Alone are all awesome tunes.
And I also loved I Mother Earth, pre Edwin departure though. One More Astronaut, Raspberry, and Another Sunday are some of my favorite IME tracks.
Oh man, you also mentioned Tea Party and Matt Good (who I saw recently in concert)....yet a few more of my favorite Canadian bands.
And who can forget Big Wreck with three awesome tracks in That Song, Oaf, and Blown Wide Open. In fact, That Song has to be one of my favorite songs of the 90's.
Sloan is pretty good too. The Good In Everyone is one hell of an upper, IMO.

Our Lady Peace and Finger Eleven. I liked Moist back in the day too.

Blood Sport is an awesome flick. At points it's cheesy and what have you, but I can still sit down and watch it with ease if I find it on TV.

After an impressive showing by the newly formed QB/WR connection of Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens, as well as Daunte Culpepper and Randy Moss up to their old tricks, what tandem do you see having the biggest impact this season? Would it be the aforementioned duos or another QB/WR combo? Who do you think?
If today is any indication, I think that T.O. and Air McNabb will certainly turn some heads. Don't countout Moss and Culpepper, because when they are running on all cylinders, they are next to unstoppable.

HA! Steelers win! I'm happy! Clevland wins too! Yes! I'm a huge Jeff Garcia fan, so I'm pleased that the Browns ran wild on over one of my least favorite teams, Baltimore, in his debut.

Enter The Dragon, Return Of The Dragon, and The Chinese Connection fool! Bruce Lee....nuff said.
-
Not exactly the same type of emotional issue driven track, but Keep Ya Head Up is an awesome song. Check out Letter To My Unborn, off the Until The End Of Time album too. Good tune as well.

Pffft...they won't be so gay when they steamroll over Oakland.

What a game to kick off the NFL season, huh? I'll be watching for sure.
It is certainly going to be an interesting 17 weeks.

I liked Goodfellas more than Scarface, one of the reasons being that Paulie's mannerisms are almost extactly like my uncles and my uncle even looks like a younger version of him. It's freaky really.
I saw Scarface before it got it's second wind in popularity and I really didn't see much in it. After I saw it a second time last year, I enjoyed it a bit more but I still think it's incredibly overrated.
Casino is on the level with Goodfellas, IMO.

Patriots = Trash.
Raiders = Even more trash.
Jets = Greatest. Team. Ever.
Santana Moss = Best Moss in the NFL.

I didn't even notice you had Randy Moss too! Plaxico AND Randy! My God. Your stock is rising in Blue's book. If you had Daunte Culpepper and Heinz Ward I'd have to marry you.

Hemorrhage by Fuel
Memories are just where you laid themDrag the waters ’till the depths give up their dead
What did you expect to find?
Was there something you left behind?
Don’t you remember anything I said when I said
Don’t fall away, and leave me to myself
Don’t fall away and leave love bleeding
In my hands, in my hands again
Leave love bleeding
In my hands, in my hands
Love lies bleeding
Oh hold me now I feel contagious
Am I the only place that you’ve left to go
She cries her life is like
Some movie black and white
Dead actors faking lines
Over and over and over again she cries
Don’t fall away, and leave me to myself
Dont fall away, and leave love bleeding
In my hands, in my hands again
Leave love bleeding
In my hands, in my hands
Love lies bleeding
And I wanted
You turned away
You don’t remember, but I do
You never even tried
Don’t fall away and leave me to myself
Don’t fall away and leave love bleeding
In my hands, in my hands again
Leave love bleeding
In my hands, in my hands
Love lies bleeding

Even with the make up on, I still don't think Avril is hot. She's not ugly by any means, but I just don't find her attractive. I'm not sure about those pictures though. Looks like she has the flu.
However, it's Avril's attitude I can't stand. All this anti-pop nonsense, parading around, trying to act like she isn't sellout, wearing her $300 t-shirts which look like she found them in the Wal-Mart discount bin. Bah, with her he pitch squeal of a voice, the layers upon layers of make-up she wears, legions of sensationalistic fans that blindly buy her products. My God, its sickens me. I can't live the button-down life like you. I want it all! The terrifying lows, the dizzying highs, the creamy middles! Sure, I might offend a few of the blue-noses with my cocky stride and musty odors -- oh, I'll never be the darling of the so-called "City Fathers" who cluck their tongues, stroke their beards, and talk about "What's to be done with this Homer Simpson?
And such.
And Jessica Simpson still looks pretty hot without the make up.
