I didn't read the book personally but from what I've read online Green Arrow is one of the worst of the 52. I guess they changed writers already too.
I also read Saga and must reccomend it. Great Sci fi/Fantasy story brewing there and you know the writer is quality. Plus "You can't have comics without Staples!"
I second this. I grabbed it on a whim as it's a first issue and seems like a cool idea and LOVED IT. Can't wait to see more. On another note, I'm trying to get back into comics (specifically Marvel) after going on an extended break around Civil War and have no idea where a good/easy drop in point is. Too many events are occurring, I have no idea what is important to know and what I can disregard.

It's easy to get to a high level if you know the special grinding spot. Special grinding spot that is currently not working for me since I joined a stupid covenant.
Also, if you want a great sword early
That giant dragon on the bridge that breathes fire and kills everything? When you get under the bridge, shoot his tail with arrows until it falls off. You get the Drake sword, which has 200 attack, which I've now got up to 240. It doesn't take a lot of strength to wield it with one hand. The tail should fall off after 20 or so arrows, definitely worth the time.
Is that the one with the archers on it, who also get fucked up by the dragon? If so, how do I even get past that bit? Plus, I have no arrows for a start >_>
Yeah, that's the one. There's a merchant hidden in Undead Burg that you can buy a bow and arrows from. He's to the right, the entrance is guarded by two spearmen and hidden under boxes. To get past the dragon, you have to run up to where the archers are and there are stairs to the underside of the bridge. You'll get lit on fire, there's no way around that, but if you're defending, you'll survive.
If you want a good shield to begin with:
You have to have the master key, but if you go down the stairs at Firelink Shrine (the first bonfire you're dropped at) You'll eventually find a lift that will take you down to the ruins of New Londo. You can find a blacksmith down there, and a bunch of zombies that won't attack you. In the second little tower area, there's some stairs up to a gate, unlock it with the master key and you can go into The Valley of Drakes. Cross the little bridge, take a left and cross a second bridge. You'll see a sleeping dragon with 3 items in front of him. If you steal one, he'll wake up and kill you. Repeat the process to get all 3, but after he's awakened he'll spit poison sludge, so just avoid that and grab the stuff. The Dragon Shield that's down there is fire resistant and has much better defense than anything you'll find for awhile.
Make sure you are running along the sides. Running through the center of the bridge = instant death, but to the left or right you will just survive.

Is it this?

Do companies actually make any money on 2nd hand sales though? When buying a game for $5 cheaper or so used, none of that actually goes to the publisher. While I still don't agree with the move, I think it;s understandable that game publishers would want to curb used games sales from a business standpoint.

I remember the Dick Tracy movie relying heavily on colour.

Suhweet, just picked it up today as some stores here are selling it early.
Edit: Well, seems with importing Smackdown wrestlers you're more so unlocking them. They're already on the disc, you just have to have a save from the game on your hard drive.

I'm interested, unless the timezones are too off. I don't actually have aim yet, but yeah, I can get it. PM me if you're interested.

I sent Dogmeat away to get some ammo and since then I've wandered around for 24 hours in-game or so, gone down to the tower and had a chat with the old dude and all the folk living there who are whinging about the ghouls....
....but Dogmeat has not returned. I've had no message saying that he's dead so where/when can I expect to run into my lovely dog again?
I'm pretty sure he's at the Vault 101 entry.

Paris is always a winner www.guerillafunk.com you can find out about T-K.A.S.H. there too. Also Sabac-Red's (from Non-Phixion) album was fairly political. Also Los Nativos http://www.losnativos.com/

Anyway, I thoroughly enjoy that the WWE ripped off TNA by stealing Black Machismo's tights and glasses
...
Randy Savage says hi.
The rumor going around now is that the DLC will be out tomorrow and will be called the "Launch Pack," which to me says you have to buy EVERYTHING and it'll be ridiculously overpriced. Hopefully I'm wrong on that part, but it would be nice to have DiBiase and Bourne in... I really just want DiBiase's awesome music though.
If THQ stays on the ball and releases regular DLC (don't hold your breath), I would fully expect an attire update for Orton, a complete overhaul for Kendrick and maybe even Vladimir Kozlov.
Hurr. No shit, but they're direct ripoffs of what Black Machismo is wearing. I don't know if it's right now since I don't watch TNA, but the glasses and tights are the exact same as what made Jay Lethal into Black Machismo. I know who Randy Savage is. =/
So you mean, it HASN'T been put in there for people who want to make a Jay Lethal caw!? Smackdown games have aaalways had things that are 'ripoffs' or very similar to other wrestlers in order for people to make CAWs of them. Hence the Road Warriors, Sting and Ultimate Warrior facepaint making appearances. I wouldn't call it a ripoff.

Doing the GNR quest allows you to listen to the station. I personally think its worth it.

Anyone heard Viva La Hova yet?
It's so far a surprisingly good compilation. Better than the Grey Album in my opinion.
-
Baldur's Gate 2!
-
I imagine it'll be a case of dialling them using the in game phone.
Correct, just like in SR1.
Which makes this quote at the end of the Aus IGN review sound weird.
Presentation
"Solid map system and a phone format 'borrowed' from GTA IV, plus a host of refinements across the board. "
Phone and the GPS style maps were both done in Saint's Row before GTA IV. I'm guessing the reviewer never played it.

Are we talking 3D Live Action as in 3D Glasses or CGI? I can't tell.
-
Its the entire thing.
Edit: Beaten, dang it.
In an attempt to save this post, is anyone excited by the new Cable series?
-
Hasn't been too bad. Sage Francis's and Aesop Rock's albums were fairly good listens.
-
These will probably be 'adrenaline' songs.
Killing In The Name - RATM. Come on, its Halo, shooting, killing, get it?
Adrenaline - Gavin Rossdale
One Day Remains - Alter Bridge. This one helped me finally finished a 50 minute game of bombing run on Unreal Tournament 2004.
God We Look Good (Going Down In Flames) The Exies
A lot of Black Stone Cherry's songs.
One For The Road - Artillery/The Breaking Wheel. Not sure on band name, as they changed names between Guitar Hero's. The song is on GH2.
Sick Inside - Modern Day Zero
The songs on Bro-Kin's MySpace. They;re the band that does some stuff for iMPACT!. They're like RATM.
-
Yeah, a lot of those would be names I'd suggest, but since he's not on there, I'll suggest Aesop Rock.

Is there any new news?

I think he's referring to the TPBs when he says books. Joss Whedon wrote the first 24 issues (which would be 4 TPBs).
