Harlem Heat DCO The Bushwackers at 4:21

Harlem Heat came out to some jeers to some rap music wearing loose street clothes and some wrestling boots, The Bushwackers came out to a big pop even though they have been missing for quite a while now, Harlem Heat held their own in this match suprisingly against the tough Bushwackers who caught the two rookies off their guard with their unique style with biting and headbutts, but Harlem Heat battled back with the best move in the match when they nailed a double axe kick on Butch, the ending came when the action spilled to the outside and the two teams brawled past the 10 count but they didn't care and continued to brawl around the ring until a host of referees pulled them apart! This certainly not the last we see of these two teams pitted against each other!

Harlem Heat def. Chris Walker and Sam Houston at 3:12

Harlem Heat are Booker T and Stevie Ray and they look like Street Thugs and come out wearing street clothes with wrestling boots, they diss the crowd a bit on the way to the ring gaining some heat and as the No.1 Jobber team in the WWF stand in the ring again. Harlem Heat totally dominated this one and the announcers put them over as brother and that they looked very intimidating. The finish of the match came after Stevie Ray hit a big boot to the face of Walker and Booker T went up top and nailed a flying legdrop for the 1,2,3! Booker and Stevie then grabbed Houston as went to help his partner and did the same to him! Harlem Heat then left the ring to boos. *1/4

WWF TV Title Tournament: Bam Bam Bigelow def. Jim Duggan at 6:01

Jim Duggan came down first with his hacksaw to a nice pop but not as big as usual as we start to see a slight changing of the guard in the WWF with a lot of newer and younger stars taking their places at the top, Bigelow then came out to more heat than usual as he makes his in-ring TV debut. Bigelow controlled this match from start to end with Duggan getting a small amount of offense with some hope spots here and there, but the big man was just too much for Duggan and hit him with a couple of big clotheslines then nailed the Greeting's from Asbury Park, Bigelow then went up top and hit the diving headbutt and covered for the 3 count to advance in the tournament. Bigelow then taunted the crowd before leaving. *

Davey Boy Smith has his say!

We go backstage where good old Mene Gene Okerlund is with Davey Boy Smith, The British Bulldog!

Okerlund: Welcome back to the WWF Davey Boy Smith how does it feel to be back home?

Davey Boy: Well Gene ever since I left I felt like I was missing something and now I know what it was I missed all my great fans here in the WWF who gave me a lot of support asking me to come back and thats why I spent the last six months getting my body in to the best condition it has ever been Gene, and I am back and ready to take a bite out of the WWF!

Okerlund: Well you certainly haven't dissapointed with you entering the Royal Rumble at number 6 and lasting over an hour to become the winner of the 1990 Royal Rumble!

Davey Boy: That's what I had been training for, I didn't know wether I would be number 1 or number 30 so I conditioned myself to last the distance by running the Boston Marathon last year I knew I was at peak condition and ready to go the distance.

Okerlund: With that win you now go on to Wrestlemania to face Sgt. Slaughter for the World Heavyweight Title but last week you were beaten down by him and his allies how are you feeling? Also do you feel that you will be able handle Slaughter aswell as Adnan and Mustafa?

Davey Boy: Your right Gene I got beat down like a dog, and just remember Gene every dog has its day although last Monday wasn't mine I can assure each and every one of you that I will have my day on the biggest stage of them all when I win the WWF World Title from Sgt. Slaughter at Wrestlemania VII and I will stand tall with that title raised above my head in the Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California!

Okerlund: I really hope that is so Davey Boy as Sgt. Slaughter is one of the most disgraceful champions I have seen in my broadcast career, but also we heard Randy Savage who said that you made a mistake when you messed with him and that you should watch your back how do you feel?

Davey Boy: Well I don't know what the Macho Man is talking about, all I did was eliminate him in a match where it is every man for himself but if he wishes to take me on I will be more than happy to oblige and meet him in the ring any time, any place, anywhere.

Okerlund: Well thankyou for your time and good luck next week when you step in the ring to face Dino Bravo. Now back to ringside for some more action.

This was the match of the night with the 47 year old Snuka on his last legs there is not much less for him to do apart from help the younger talent and that's what he did, but this wasn't a squash and he showed he still has a lot of talent by holding his own against the Intercontinental Champ, Snuka used his experience to get an advantage but Perfect used underhand tactics and crisp tactical skills to regain the upper hand the finish came when Snuka rebounded off the ropes with a flying crossbody for a 2 count and then picked up Perfect and slammed him to the mat before signalling to all the fans across the world that he was going up the top for one of the most risky and deadly finishers in the world he spreads his wings and Superfly flies off with the Superfly Splash but Perfect rolls out of the way! Hulk Hogan def. Ted Dibiase at 10:11

This was the biggest TV Main Event of the year and what a way to battle the rival's main event of Rick Rude vs Scott Steiner, no matter who wins this war the longer it goes on the better for all fans as each company is forced to put on big matches all the time. Dibiase was first out with Virgil and his million dollar belt full of confidence after their win over The Rhodes, word has it that Dustin and Dusty will return next week which should be interesting, Finally after about a minute of waiting Hulk Hogan made his way to the ring and the crowd erupted! The crowd was going crazy for The Hulkster who came down and ripped off his shirt as usual but the crowd still loved it! Dibiase attacked Hogan before the bell to begin with and took control of the match but Hogan had many hope spots notably picking up Dibiase and throwing him on to Virgil! But eventually everytime Hogan took control either Dibiase would use underhand tactics or Virgil would get involved giving Dibiase enough time to rest up and attack Hogan from behind, the finish came with Dibiase taking out Hogan with a slam and then 3 fistdrops before sending him in to the ropes and when Hogan came back off Dibiase and hit him with a back-body drop but Hogan got straight back up! Dibiase hit him with a right to no effect! Hogan began to Hulk Up and Dibiase dropped to his knee's but Hogan hit him with a right and whipped him off the ropes and Dibiase got the taste of a boot! Virgil got on the apron and Hogan clotheslined him! Hogan worked the crowd and came off the ropes with the Big Legdrop! Hogan hooks the leg 1...2...3! Hogan celebrated his win with his usual get-up before grabbing the microphone!

  7. Pro Wrestling Illustrated WWF Round-up

Last night at the Rumble the unexpected happened when The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith won the Royal Rumble and a shot at the title at Wrestlemania some say backstage the reason for this is that with WCW creating a lot harder competition recently the WWF need to up the stakes and pull out bigger shows and better matches, the reason why there are slightly fewer squash matches recently.

Word has it that Jack Tunney wants to give up his On-Screen role as he has become older and word has it that a new President will be named tonight! Lots of names are floating around and it is said that this President will have a more hands on approach and will be at most shows.

Also the WWF have invested around $4 Million Dollars in creating a Development Territory where they can farm younger talent and also allow older more experienced wrestlers to go down and work off ring rust and also help in training the younger stars, 3 men have been sent down from the active roster to improve themselves aswell as help the younger talent they are: Tugboat, Tito Santana and Jim Powers. WWF have signed up a massive 40 stars as the look to start a New Generation in the WWF

    These men are:

Action Jackson, Ben Jordan, Bill Kazmaeir, Bob Holly, Denny Brown, Duane Gill, El Vampiro Canadiense, Gary Young, Hiroshi Hase, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Ice Train, Jason Knight, Jean Paul Levesque, Jinsei Shinzaki, Kensuke Sasaki, Lt. Word has it that many more from the active roster will be sent down to the Development Camp as soon as the WWF TV Title Tournament has finished in other news the tournament brackets have been announced!

    Tunney's Announcement

From the start of the show we go straight to Jack Tunney's announcement! He is sitting at his desk with something hidden by a cloth.

Tunney: Hello viewers of the WWF, as president of the WWF I must ensure that the product we produce is both exciting and entertaining and to do this we have to provide more thrills, today I have two announcements with one of them being for the Royal Rumble this sunday.(Big Pop for mention of Rumble) This year I have seen fit to add a stipulation to this match this is that the winner of the Rumble gets a one way ticket to Wrestlemania to face whoever may be the World Champion at that time!(Big pop) My other announcement is something that me and the board have agreed on in a unanimous vote that with the rising amount of superstars coming to the WWF we have seen fit to bring in a new WWF Championship! This shall be know as the WWF TV Title and will be decided in a 32 man Tournament where the final shall be held at the biggest event of them all, The Royal Rumble!

Thankyou for your time and enjoy the show.

(Note: I forgot to book this, and booked Tugboat vs Valentine instead, sorry :(, but this means you get more to read :))

Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan go nuts over the announcements putting over that the Royal Rumble winner gets the chance to win the World Title on the biggest event of the year! Heenan says that he knows for a fact that it will be one of his clients. They then hype up the rest of tonights show which includes the Lumberjack match between Haku and Big Bossman and also that The Ultimate Warrior faces Colonel Mustafa in the double main event!
