  1. I KNEW you'd have to get your obligatory 'were talking about films so I must suck the makers of Crash off' comment in here Gaz mate.....

Sean, no offence, but I'd talk to other people! Serenity is an incredible film.

Says the guy who dissed it to high heaven unil he saw it then said it was really good.

As I was saying, Serenity is ace - Crash is better.

R Christijan Albers (Ned) Midland - Toyota 43 laps

    Key: R = retired

    Fastest lap: Rosberg, 1:32.408

Was really impressed with Rosberg - definately one to watch I think. Alonso's 2nd pit stop was great, and he showed some real guts exiting to pass Shuey. Kimi did well starting from the back, and would have been in with a real shout had he been up front at the start, imo.

    22. Kimi Raikkonen (Fin) McLaren-Mercedes no time**

    * = time set in second 15-minute elimination session

** = time set in first 15-minute elimination session

The new qualifying session looks interesting, and could provide some socks over the season. Ferrari, McLaren, Honda and Williams to lead the way I rekcon.

  4. Lacuna Coil fucking suck, but that's not down to Cristina Scabbia's voice, per se, more to do with their style.

Nightwish and Within Temptation own ass, though, and even Evanescence aren't THAT bad (again, their suckiness is more to do with their style than their singer).

I like all four of those bands. Nightwish are head and shoulders above the rest, though. Pity they sacked Tarja recently...

Evanescence are your best bet for a mainstream sound (on a side note, they fecking shit hot live).

Lacuna Coil are better for a kind of metally, goth-tinged sound that muhc less mainstream.

Within Temptation.. I'll have to comment on them after re-listening to the album I've got. Almost totally forgot what they sound like. (Although, if I remember rightly, it's lighter, folkish-tinged rock/metal).

  6. You just seem to hate the whole Timmins family (for no great reasons) from what you've told me.

When did I say i hated the entire family.

Having just refreshed myself with the Timmins family - my opinions so far are:

    Bree - **shudders**

Dylan - he seems a pretty good character.

Janae - Over rated, looks-wise, and actually quite irritating herself in the scenes I've seen.

Janelle - From the one ep I saw her in, she's quite irritating too...

There seems to be a pattern here...

Stingray - Haven't seen to much from him apart from the odd "scared" moment in prison with Dylan. Seems a good egg (as timmayy might say).

The dad seems an ok kind of character too.

So, in other words, all the females in the Timmins family are irritating, whilst the dudes vary from ok/watchable to decent actors/characters.

Oh, and totally off-topic, Sky is fit.

  7. what has he actually done to deserve this?

again drawn from what little I've seen there's a points to consider.

    1. Bree's character is infinitely more irritating.

    2. His acting is so-so, which is better than a few other members of the cast. Inc. the person who plays Bree.

    Yeah, I hate Bree...

  8. Just started watching again. Used to watch it a few years back when Drew, Darcy and the like were in it.

Anyways, watched a few eps and I've got to say a few things:

    1. Bree is possibly the most irritating television character ever.

    2. Zeke is no where near as bad as people on here make out.

um, yeah, more points to come.

  9. APW - Second City Invasion

    August 11th 2006

    Chicago, Illinois

    Final Card:

    APW Championship

    Four-Corners Match

    - Shelley has to be beaten to lose the Championship.

    - If someone beats Shelley, they are the new APW Champion. Shelley gets a re-match at 'Summer Showdown'

    - If Alex Shelley wins the match, he retains his title, and there is no clear No. 1 contender heading into 'Summer Showdown'

    - If Lynn, Homicide or Delirious beat each other, then the winner is the number one contender, and faces Shelley for the Championship at 'Summer Showdown'.

Alex Shelley © vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Delirious vs. 'The Notorious 187' Homicide

I reckon you'll have no clear #1 contender, as do something "on the night".

Charlie Haas and Roderick Strong pick each others opponents!

    Charlie Haas vs. Sedrick Strong

    Roderick Strong vs. Rocky Romero

    Makes sense.

'Classic' Colt Cabana vs. Ricky Reyes

    Big return win for Colt.

    Jay Lethal vs. Jimmy Rave

    Rave to sneak another one.

    Matt Sydal vs. Danny Daniels

'Double C' Claudio Castagnoli vs. Milano Collection AT

    Hallowicked vs. Brandon Thomaselli

Vito and Sal beat down after match.

The Aerial Express (Scorpio Sky/Quicksilver) vs. The Wildcards (Eddie Kingston/'Black' Jack Marciano)

Human Tornado to interfear and give them the win.

'Sterling' James Keenan vs. Josh Daniels

Show have been great, buddy, keep up the good work.
