  1. I was hoping someone could help me with this project. I'm wanting to make a graphic with two mirrors facing eachother, towards the center. I want to be able to put another graphic in between them and have it reflected into eternity between the two mirrors, I think it can be done. I just don't know how. ANY HELP would be appreciated.

    I use PhotoShop CS.

  2. A Tragic Case

    In November 1973, Anneliese Michel, a young student at the University of Wurzburg, West Germany, was taken by her parents to see the parish priest in her hometown of Klingenberg. She had developed some worrisome signs of abnormal behavior at the university - refusing to eat, flying into violent rages, screaming, and trying to attack those around her - and her parents were deeply concerned.

    In the priest’s view, Anneliese was possessed by demons, and he recommended a ritual exorcism. As Roman Catholic procedure requires, the case was investigated by a leading authority on exorcism and demonic possession, Father Adolf Rodewyk, an 81-year-old Jesuit. Father Rodewyk agreed with the priest’s diagnosis, and on his recommendation the regional bishop, Father Josef Stangl, gave permission for the exorcism to take place. The exorcists chosen for the task were the Reverend Arnold Renz and the Reverend Ernst Alt. By then Anneliese had been receiving medical treatment for epilepsy for four years.

    On July 1, 1976, after several months of exorcism, Anneliese died of malnutrition and dehydration at the age of 23. She weighed 70 pounds. On March 2, 1978, the two exorcists and Anneliese’s parents were charged with negligent homicide, on the grounds that they had allowed the young girl’s condition to deteriorate to the point of death without seeking medical help for her. Bishop Stangl and Father Rodewyk, who seem not to have known that medical help was being withheld, were not charged. In April 1978, the two priests were found guilty and were given suspended prison sentences of six months.

    For the Roman Catholic Church, the death of Anneliese Michel was a nightmare come true, demonstrating the dangers inherent in the ritual of exorcism and the murky distinctions between priestly and medical responsibility. In Father Rodewyk’s own handbook on possession and exorcism, originally published in 1963 and translated into English under the title “Possessed by Satan”, priests are urged to consider medical explanations for apparent possession. One section of the book, in fact, is titled “Let’s Not Always Think of Possession!” Father Rodewyk, outlining the bishop’s responsibilities, says that he “may appoint a commission of theologians and physicians to undertake a further investigation” and warns that the exorcists “must guard against playing the role of physician when encountering physiological symptoms.” He quotes the authorities Roman Ritual (of exorcism): “The exorcist should avoid giving or recommending any sort of medication to the possessed; that is the physician’s task.” Although such statements clearly suggest that a physician may sometimes be needed before and during an exorcism, there is no stipulation that a doctor MUST be in attendance.

    This deficiency in church procedure was corrected, at least in Germany, after the conviction of the two priests in the Michel case. In May 1978 the German Bishops’ Conference ruled that in the future no exorcisms would be permitted unless a doctor was present.

  3. I know that this isn't related directly to a video game, but does anyone remember this cartoon? It also had live action stuff too, with Lou Albano as Mario, WTF?!?!?

    Anyways, I have obtained an unopened VHS copy of "The Great BMX Race". I've been scouring the net to determine what it is worth, but to no avail, I'm afraid.

    If anyone knows where I can get some more information on selling it or how much it would be worth, anyways, please let me know.

  4. You can't search words that are 3 letters or less on here, I've tried.

    I know that some of you sport some cool animated .gif files in your avatars and sigs, and I was really wondering how to do it in ImageReady. I got it with Photoshop CS, if that indicates a version, or whatever.

    Thanks for the help.

    SmackDown! Preview

    This week on SmackDown! Triple H will face "the Big Red Machine" Kane in the finals of the number one contendor's tournament to decide who will be named the number one contender for John Cena's WWE Heavyweight Championship. John Cena will be in the house, awaiting a challenger for his title.

    Shelton Benjamin, the Intercontinental champion, said last week that he couldn't make it to the arena to face John Heidenreich. He promised to make that match a reality this week.

    On Velocity, Mark Henry challenged Muhammad Hassan (who has a situation of his own, with Booker T) to a rematch this Thursday. Will he accept the challenge?

    All of this and more, this Thursday on SmackDown! ONLY ON UPN!

    WWE Web Alert: SmackDown!

    Since Vince McMahon issued the complete re-draft of all the WWE superstars just two weeks ago, the world of the WWE has been set ablaze with the excitement the draft has brought to the table. Never before have we seen John Cena vs Triple H or Kane for a major title. Never before MNM and the Dudley Boyz squaring off at a PPV for tag team gold.

    With all the excitement a few WWE Superstars have kind of been lost in the shuffle on SmackDown! Randy Orton and Eugene are still on the shelf with injuries. Orton has had major surgery to repair his ACL. Eugene has also had major surgery, he is rehabbing his knee as we speak. And Torrie Wilson has all, but vanished from the TV set. Have no fear. Each one of these superstars will be on WWE: BYTE THIS very soon!

    Also, there is need to address the recent ECW: One Night Stand PPV. Several WWE Superstars were in the house and participated in the show.

    From SmackDown! the following superstars made an appearance:

    *Chris Benoit (couldn't compete at full level, however, due to injuries suffered by HHH)(Still pulled off one hell of a match with Chris Jericho!)

    *Eddie Guerrero

    *Rob Van Dam

    *Rey Mysterio

    *Simon Dean (as Nova)

    *Tajiri

    *Nunzio (as Little Guido of the FBI)

    *and Spike Dudley

    No mention of the PPV was made, past the initial announcement, on SmackDown! television. We would like to congratulate the participants on the SmackDown! brand as well as the RAW brand for the success of the nostalgic ECW: One Night Stand.

    Chris Benoit is currently not scheduled to appear on WWE TV for at least a month. He is at home recovering from various injuries from both Triple H and "Y2J" Chris Jericho.

    Also, in a recent contract dispute, the WWE and Gene Snitsky have mutually agreed to end Snitsky's contract. We wish him the best in his future endeavors. We welcome him back whole heartedly, in the event the contract dispute reaches an unsuspected resolution in the coming months.

    The Hurricane and Rosey will be on hand at every mall we come across on our tour to sign autographs and take pictures. Check WWE.com for official dates and times.

    That's all for the WWE Web Alert: SmackDown! this week. More news as we get it.

    WWE and Teddy Long present: Velocity

    Taped in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada *AFTER* SmackDown!

    {Velocity opening video airs}

    Tazz: Welcome to Velocity! I’m Tazz, alongside me tonight is Al Snow. What a Velocity we have in store for you tonight!

    Snow: That’s right Tazz, tonight, in the main event, we have The Basham Brothers defending their tag team titles against the Heart Throbs! Also, Akio versus Nunzio!

    Tazz: Well, Al, it does sound like quite a promising night, but let’s not forget Hardcore Holly versus Gene Snitsky! And right now, Heidenreich versus Maven! It’s up next, lets head to the ring!

    Maven w/Simon Dean Vs Heidenreich

    {Heidenreich enters first. Maven is accompanied by Simon Dean.}

    Maven and Simon try to offer Heidenreich some protein bars, but Heidenreich throws the box to the outside of the ring. This prompts Maven to hit some big right forearms and officially start the match. Heidenreich no sells the forearms and charges Maven with a shoulder tackle. Maven is down and crawls backwards to the corner where Simon hands him something that he stuffs in his tights. Maven pulls himself back up. Heidenreich offers a test of strength to Maven. Maven reluctantly accepts. Heidenreich brings Maven down to his knees. He kicks him in the chest and pulls him up. Vertical Suplex by Heidenreich! Maven back up, Heidenreich into the ropes. Maven ducks a clothesline and turns to pose. Heidenreich is right back though and nails a big elbow to the back of Maven’s head. Maven is down again. Quick cover by Heidenreich. 1*2**, no only a two count. Heidenreich screams and pulls Maven up. Heidenreich puts Maven over his shoulders, it looks like he’s going for a Death Valley Driver! Simon is up on the ropes and is distracting the referee! Maven reaches into his tights and pulls out a bottle of pills, presumably part of the Simon System ™. He tries to feed the pills to Heidenreich. Heidenreich is choking on them and just falls backward, delivering a Samoan Drop to Maven. Heidenreich spits out the pills and grabs some off of the mat. He shoves them in Maven’s mouth and covers it up with his hand. Maven is flopping around like a wild man! Heidenreich big boot’s Simon off the apron! Maven is swaggering in the ring now. Heidenreich lunges at him and Maven falls down! Cover 1*2**3***! Heidenreich Wins!!

    Spike Dudley is backstage talking to a stagehand. He says that last week on Velocity was a fluke. Morgan couldn’t beat him again if he tried. Morgan hears this from around the corner! Spike is soon left alone as the stagehand backs away cowardly. Spike turns around and is eye first into the chest of Matt Morgan. Spike jumps back, but it’s too late. Morgan has him. F-5 onto the concrete floor! Morgan picks up Spike and throws him sideways through a stack of crates! He walks off laughing. The medics rush over to Spike and carry him off on a stretcher!

    {Commercial Break}

    Tazz: We’re back folks and I gotta’ tell ya…I’m feelin’ for Spike Dudley right now!

    Al: Morgan is a monster, but let’s face it…Spike had it coming to him!

    Tazz: Aside from that brutal beating that Spike just took, Heidenreich gave a Maven a taste of his own medicine, no pun intended!

    Al: And Simon Dean is lucky he didn’t get some too!

    Tazz: At any rate, AKIO; NUNZIO; NEXT!!!

    Akio Vs Nunzio

    {Akio enters first; followed by a running Nunzio going for the quick attack and getting things going!}

    Akio and Nunzio are exchanging punches. Nunzio gets the advantages and falls back on the ropes. He charges Akio, CROSSBODY!! Rear-chin lock on Akio. Akio brings Nunzio back up to his feet. Nunzio thrown into the ropes, HURRICANRANA by Akio!!! He holds on and flips up to Nunzio’s chest. He is laying in some good punches!! Akio falls forward to his hands and turns over to his back. Nunzio is back up, but is still locked in an abdominal scissors hold by Akio. Akio rolls to the right quickly and flips Nunzio onto the ground! An amazing helicopter-like maneuver!! Akio is signaling that he is going up top now. Akio on the top rope, he jumps. Leg Drop connects. Cover now, 1*2**2 ½, not quite a full 3 count, but damn close! Akio is fuming! He pulls Nunzio up, wait a minute, ROLL UP into the Small Package!!! 1*2**3***!!!! Nunzio wins with a surprise small package!!!!

    Akio is angry and begins stomping at Nunzio. He slides out to the outside and grabs a chair. He brings it back in the ring and nails Nunzio in the side with it! He throws the chair on top of Nunzio and goes up to the top rope Old School Yang Time onto the chair and Nunzio!!!

    Akio leaves the ring the damage done!

    67% / 51% / 84% … … … …**½

    Tazz: Holy Cow! Al, we just saw a shocking victory as Nunzio pulled out an upset!

    Snow: That’s right Tazz, he was pretty much down and out the entire match, but he scored when it counted! How about that maneuver by Akio!?!?!

    Tazz: Incredible stuff, Al, incredible! Hardcore Holly versus Snitsky is up next!

    Hardcore Holly Vs Gene Snitsky

    {Hardcore Holly again enters the ring with a picture of Charlie Haas. He begins to talk to it as we are shown a clip of what happened last week with Holly, Conway, and the picture of Haas. After the video, Holly again places the picture under the bottom rope in a corner of the ring.}

    {IT WASN’T MY FAULT! Here comes Snitsky!}

    Tazz: You know what, Al? Hardcore Holly is taking a page right out of your book. He’s talking to an inanimate object!

    Al: Head is not inanimate, he’s shy! He doesn’t like very many people, including you Tazz.

    Tazz: Oh, here we go!!!

    Hardcore Holly goes right to town on Snitsky. He nails a few punches and kicks Gene in the stomach. Whip to the ropes, clothesline on the big Snitsky! Holly pulls Snitsky up, snap suplex! Holly goes for the pin, only a 1 count. Snitsky gets up and fights off Holly. Holly gets whipped into the corner that houses his picture of Charlie Haas. He inadvertently knocks it out of the ring, he notices and as Snitsky charges him he bales out of the ring and picks up the picture. Snitsky crashes chest first into the turnbuckle and falls down. Holly talks to his picture before sitting in on the ring steps. He slides back in to the ring where Snitsky is up and leaning on the ropes. He bundles Snitsky out and he falls onto the ring steps! Right onto the picture of Charlie Haas, crushing beneath him! Holly can’t believe it!!! Snitsky looks at him and says, “It wasn’t my fault!” Holly doesn’t care, he heads out to the ring and starts whipping up on Snitsky! He slides Snitsky into the ring and heads right in after him. He nails the Alabama Slam on him, but before he can cover Rob Conway is out and up on the apron! Holly immediately goes over to him. Conway just slapped Holly! Holly can’t believe it, he steps back and gets ready to charge at Conway. However, he trips on Snitsky and Big Gene rolls him up for the three count! Snitsky wins!!!

    Conway is in the ring and Holly meets him with right hands! Snitsky rolls out and walks to the back as Conway and Holly exchange blows. We fade to commercial!

    Henry: Hassan!!! Me, you, SmackDown!!!

    {Short, but sweet! Sounds like a challenge to me!}

    68%

    Tazz: Hardcore Holly, wow! He has really lost it Snow!

    Al: I sympathize with him, really I do. Who I don’t sympathize with is Mark Henry.

    Tazz: Why is that?

    Al: He’s already lost to Hassan, why bother facing him again?

    Tazz: You know that Mark Henry, he ain’t all there, Al.

    Al: Oh and you’ll probably say that about Holly now too, huh? He’s a good friend of mine Tazz. Like you are.

    Tazz: Okay, I’m sorry. Let’s get on to the main event. It’s the Basham Brothers!

    Al: And the Heart Throbs!!!

    The Basham Brothers © Vs The Heart Throbs (World Tag Team Championship Match!)

    {The Heart Throbs enter first and do their little dance thing.}

    {We go backstage where the Basham Brothers now enter like Goldberg. A stagehand knocks on their door to tell them it is time and they kick the door and walk out. They are escorted to through the back where Hurricane and Rosey are seen laughing and pointing at the serious look that Doug has on his face. Rosey even mocks it. They don’t stray from their mission, though.}

    {The Bashams finally appear on the stage and walk down to the ring, where the Heart Throbs wait impatiently.}

    This one is ready to go. Danny and Romeo will start. Romeo and Antonio are mocking the Bashams now! Danny runs at Romeo and nails a big clothesline. He hits Antonio off the ring apron as well. Romeo gets a revenge attack on Danny with the double axe-handle. Romeo whips Danny into the ropes. Romeo goes for a back elbow, but Danny dives out of the way. Romeo gets a kick blocked. Danny blocks a right hand as well. Romeo receives a right hand of Danny’s though! Another, another Romeo swaggers around and collapses. Danny pulls him over to Basham Corner and tags in Doug. Double-team on Romeo as Antonio gets cut off by the referee when he tries to even it up. The double team continues until Danny finally leaves. Doug whips Romeo into the ropes and connects with a kick to the midsection and a diving clothesline. Antonio in to kick Doug Basham. Back out as the referee commands, but the Bashams once again get a double-team. The referee sees it this time. He warns that they will be disqualified. They knock it off, but during the argument Romeo has crawled over to Antonio and made the tag! Antonio in leveling Doug. Danny in and he gets leveled. Antonio cleans house and does a little dance. As he dances Doug gets behind him and locks in a belly-to-back suplex! Romeo back in to break up the pinfall. Doug drags Antonio over to Basham Corner, now. Tag to Danny. Danny hits a bulldog. He picks up Antonio. Vertical Brain Buster Suplex!!! He goes for the pin, Romeo in, but so is Doug. Doug levels Romeo out of the ring with a clothesline. 1*2**3***!!! The Basham Brothers win and retain the tag titles!!!
