The AI doesn't seem to realise that certain players aren't going to get work permits. They keep bidding on my foreign youth players, keep getting work permits rejected so they cancel the deal, then bid on them again. Repeatedly.

I think the work permit system for England is a bit harsh as it is anyway since one hasn't actually been decided on yet.

Whenever somebody mentions "It's Only A Paper Moon" I'm immediately reminded that Nog had some of the best character development in a Star Trek show period.

Might have found a bug... A lowly 'keeper from Atletico who is on 7K per week wants 140K per week to be an emergency backup .

I think the difficulty has definitely gone up with the full release. I restarted with United again and I'm not cruising like I was before.

I had that happen ages ago. Had to uninstall and reinstall for it to work again.

Weirdly just had the team confront me about standing in the way of Phil Jones' dream move except that I'm not. He's been transfer listed all season and played 1 game, I want him gone more than anyone.

Also now that I've gotten to the knockout stage of the Champions League I've noticed that the match UI no longer displays the aggregate scoreline, just the score for the current leg.

Really? For me it seemed like you set your tactic as a 4-2-3-1 gegenpress and then proceeded to win everything even as a lower team.

Yeah 4-2-3-1 is way OP still. I'm using a normal tiki-taka version of it and have been rolling along nicely.

Game seems as easy as it ever has.

Playing as United. First transfer window signed Pau Torres as Harry Maguire's partner. Sold Lingard to Roma for about 15M and Rojo to AC Milan for a touch under 10M. Nobody wants Phil Jones (realistic to be fair). Middle of the season and I'm 13-5-1 and in second on the table just a point behind Liverpool. January I've signed Dominik Szoboszlai as a long term replacement for Matic and Jeremie Frimpong as a cheap backup right back.

Still not sold on the match day UI but I'm getting used to it. Still don't like the UI for press conferences (there's so much unused space and they've resorted to using a small font instead of utilising more of the space by making it larger and easier to read). But overall I think it is probably a step up from last year, if not a huge one (which I wasn't expecting in a Covid world). I have noticed that assistant coaches don't seem to recommend individual training ideas or traits anymore which is a bit of an odd exclusion.

So yeah tl;dr: it's good if not a bit easy.

Well I would've thought so but here we are.

After playing through a preseason and a bit I have to say that I'm not overly fond of the match day UI either. I'm sure I'll get used to it in time but early thoughts are that I'm a bit disappointed with what's been served up to be honest.

So it has basically been explained on the SI forums that the percentages for fitness and sharpness are gone because people "weren't using them correctly" eg. if a player is at 86% fitness he was being rested by players when he would play IRL.

Not sure I like it to be honest.

There doesn't appear to be any options to switch them in preferences, as far as I can see, anyway. Hopefully it is something that is patched in.

Seems okay so far. Not a fan of the new press conference/player chat screen, everything is quite small and there's a lot of wasted space. Also don't like the hearts/thumbs up/down system for fitness and match sharpness. I liked my percentages damn it. I think it runs better than FM20, seems a bit smoother.

Is Ring Fit Adventure a decent enough pickup for someone wanting to be slightly less chubby than they currently are?
