I finally started to get into Nine Inch Nails, Elliott Smith and Neutral Milk Hotel are just a few. Lots of bands I just haven't had the time to really get deeply into. I'm working on getting more stuff by The Cure but not many stores around here have them so I might have to resort to downloading it.

Ugh, I hate that Coheed is going on tour with Slipknot. It's one more tour I won't get to see them on considering I despise Slipknot. Especially the fans I'd put up with. I just want to see Coheed

I liked a few songs off of Youth and Young Manhood but completely agree that with there being other bands out there doing exactly what they're doing much better and not getting recognition for it is bullshit. If this is all it takes to get big then why don't the other generic sounding indie bands make it like Kings of Leon.

This weekend I'm seeing Between The Buried and Me.

Next weekend I'm seeing Manchester Orchetra/Kevin Devine/Dead Confederate/All Get Out.

Both are in Wilmington though.

Bonnaroo is more important than most things. Me and two or three friends are making the trip from NC, an awesome 12 hour or so drive. I'm going to press the issue more once the line-up is announced so I can yell harder and say "I'M GOING TO MISS (INSERT ARTIST HERE) TO GO TO SOME STUPID GRADUATION I DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT?!" But yeah, Bonnaroo is looking good for me, especially with a possible EWB meet-up.

I have a possibility of Bonnaroo this year, but my mom is telling me no right now because I'd be missing my high school graduation. I'm trying to convince her of how terrible of an argument that is on her behalf considering I hate nearly everyone in my class and that I'll get my diploma whether I attend or not.

Depending on the line-up I might go to Warped. I had a decent enough time this year.

I finally bought "Shallow Grave" by The Tallest Man on Earth in a local store and it's awesome. Great folk/country album. He's apparently touring with Bon Iver for a few dates which would be an awesome show. Does anybody else here listen to him?

I went to a Girl Talk show back in August and my friends and I got to go on the stage. We were about 80% certain that we saw Greg Gillis do a line of coke off of his laptop.

My first show was in 2005 when I saw The Eagles with my dad. It back in the "I only listen to classic rock" days but it was still a good show.

I wanted to see Sigur Ros but the closest they came was Bonnaroo which is a couple states away

I definitely agree with Maxx. I just watched the fight and it's amazing it wasn't stopped before it was. Lesnar was absolutely wailing on him on the ground and Couture wasn't blocking any of it. This was a really good card, I've been getting into MMA a lot more over the past year and this has been one of my favorites so far.

So, what's the running price you can get for trading this in?

I'm going to see them in December with Kevin Devine, so I'll actually download this Big Gay Face.

And what does everyone else think of the Andy/Dwight/Angela love triangle?...at first I couldn't stand it, and I still generally consider it wasted screen time, but lately there's actually been a few scenes (ones where Angela genuinely likes something Andy does for her) that have been okay.

I think it's developing nicely but right now it's a bit dull. There are certain moments where things get interesting and it's always nice when they show that Dwight does really have feelings. I think it will get better throughout the season.

I think this season has already been lacking in memorable episodes. If you look at each season so far you've had one episode or one line in the episode where you were just like "That's one I'm going to remember." Plus, I miss Toby

Live - "Hold Me Up"

It's an unreleased b-side, and was featured prominently in a crucial scene in "Zack and Miri Make a Porno". What a song, no wonder Kevin Smith has tried to put it in his last 3 movies.

So, it's his "Gimme Shelter"? That seems very odd to me.

I've been trying to find Hold Me Up since I saw the movie but can't find it anywhere.

Listening to music I usually wouldn't listen to inspires me sometimes. Also listening to new music does the same.

So this week is going to be awesome for concerts for me. I'm going to see Minus The Bear tomorrow (has anybody seen them live? I haven't heard anything about their live performances), The Never on Thursday, then Nine Inch Nails next Monday.

Then in December I have Manchester Orchestra/Kevin Devine.

this morning I listened to the self-titled "Electric President" album. So fucking good. I'd rank it far superior to The Postal Service album.

I love Electric President.

I played this all night last night and holy shit, I love it. The new guitar feels so much better than the Les Paul. I'm not really feeling the slide bar but I'm sure that I'll get used to it. It's got almost an easier feel so far, but then again I've only just beaten Nugent and Wylde's guitar battles and I'm getting ready to get to the tier with Mr. Crowley and the like. I haven't had much time on the drums because I've been too busy with guitar, but from what I've played those are great too.

I want to play with people from EWB but don't have a Live subscription right now
